Wishing On Love #6

Alpha Principal

Rate this book
Love in the workplace is never without risks…

Nathanial is the hot, firm-but-fair principal of an elementary school – and an alpha wolf shifter. He runs the school like a pack, and when the school needs a new PE instructor, Nathan realizes that the best candidate for the job is irresistibly sexy.

Simon is a physically powerful and dominant-minded omega wolf. He’s never wanted a family, but all that changes when he visits the wishing well. Simon must come to terms with the fact that some things are just meant to be – like being pregnant with his boss’s baby.

In this mpreg wolf shifter romance Simon and Nathaniel embark upon an affair like no other, filled with lust, layered in hot passion, and eventually, wrapped in love. With strong sexual content, this 75,000-word gay paranormal story is meant only for adults.

Sweet, solid story.

An enjoyable romance between an Omega and his true mate Alpha who meet under the most inauspicious circumstances - Simon interviews for a teaching position with Nathan, who is an Alpha wolf and principal. I liked that their story isn't a traditional alpha-omega hookup and that Simon is as different from being a weak, soft, twink-y omega as Nathan is a beefy, muscle-bound dominant with limited brain power. The fact that they're both education professionals made dialogue between them delightful badinage full of humor, puns, and sarcasm both knew when to ease back on. They cared about each other's feelings, and never lost sight of that fact throughout their fledgling relationship, which made this a true romance. Walker's inclusion of the stalker as a threat aided his theme of bringing this true-mate couple solidly together - adversity and danger does bring out strong emotions and true character, and both Simon and Nathan easily stand up to the challenge. Very enjoyable tale that made me chuckle out loud more than a few times.

Awesome couple

I really liked Nate and Simon as a couple. I liked how Nate didn't begrudge Simon for not being the typical omega at any time - especially since Tamara got on Simon's case about exactly that a lot. I was surprised that Toby didn't feature more into this story, and have to wonder if he even knows how to (or that he can) shift - it honestly didn't seem likely.

I was a bit surprised at the end of the book that we didn't hear more about the potential fallout ofSimon's actions at the restaurant and Jeremy's tell-all book. Maybe that will be in a future installment - if any.

Sweet, Sexy, and Oh, So Hot!

This is one of the best mpreg stories I have read! I love the fact that they go through a time of getting to know one another before they totally commit to each other, even though they are already in a physical relationship. Sexual attraction isn't always a good basis for marriage.

This book has everything, times of fear and confusion, anger and rage, and loads of love.
The way they grow their relationship is wonderful and the erotic scenes are outstanding.

MM. Alpha/Omega. Shifters. Nathan is happy as a principal, guiding and guarding his young humans. Searching for a new PE teacher places Simon in his office for an interview. Both are highly attracted to one another, but the dynamics of their professional relationship make this a confusing situation. I loved their story and reading about the development of their relationship. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Eh

I tried really hard to like this book. I thought it had a decent story line. Wasn't one I've seen a hundred times but good gosh was it totally unbelievable. I was really bummed but for 99 cents it wasn't completely terrible. I thought the ending with Richard was a joke upset about them being wolves and teachers? I don't think so. I don't know. Just wasn't my cup of tea.

As much as I enjoyed this story there were some parts that were lacking. The wishing well was kind of weird and they were supposed to be true mates but neither one really acted like it. I liked both men and was glad they got their HEA.
