Great story, sweet heroine and potential series.
But why I give 3 stars? It is because I couldn't tolerate the hero. OMG... to choose Kovos as a hero and a prince and to make him week, hesitating and silly character. He is a leader who doesn't know how he should deal with the council. He doesn't know what to wear so his mother chooses his clothes and he hates them so much because they are silly and uncomfortable. Even Lithyon is better than him.
I'm not impressed with Kovos. Till the end he seemed weak leader. He even run with Jenna while his people was under attack. What a brave hero. He didn't face the enemy but he escaped, bathed Jenna and had sex with her.
The story was really great and It is the first time I read that the mating changes the male physically and I loved the idea.
I'm sorry because Kovos spoiled the story for me. I wish he was tough, strong and decisive leader.
