Once again an amazing Chinese books. It's quite surprising how I love Asian books more than English cuz the ones I tumbled upon seemed to have more depth than most English ones. Secretly hoping for an official translation for this book so I can own a physical copy :)

This was a good series , I read it after I read GU YUN 's story
For me it wasn't as good as the first books but still an enjoyable read
The characters were more on the mellow side , and weren't as intresting as the first book , and while there are many romatic interactions between them , there wasn't that much exitement /intrigue
The FL is a forensic investigator ( coroner) , and the focus was more on her solving mysteries and examining dead bodies , so if you're looking for mystery/detective books this might be your cup of tea

Pakar forensik termasuk ke zaman dulu. Kepakarannya membuatkan orang terpegun. Mana ada perempuan zaman dulu yang mampu membelah mayat tanpa rasa takut. Menyababkan ramai yang kagum dengannya.
Memang menarik sebab bukan dia yang perlu menyesuaikan diri dengan orang sekeliling, tapi orang sekeliling yang perlu memahami dirinya.

I would rather there was a translated book I can buy than reading online as I have problems with that, but I enjoyed it!
