2.5 Eyerolling stars. I read the main story (short enough that it is all available in the preview), but did not purchase it for the 15 included bonus ones after I finished.

I don't like the style that leaves a scene hanging and then later tells you what happened in a quick sentence. Feels like you miss the action/details that would have been important to know. (What was the deal with Why didn't they call the police and have anyone arrested or do more investigation after the allergy incident? etc. Also a few words/phrases seemed (at the very least) racially insensitive or stereotypical.

Pathetic characters and poor grammar

The entire set of books is nothing but a wasted potential on a bullet train to the finale. The character development is non-existent. The characters themselves are so poorly written the cliches made me want to scream. The misogyny is rampant. Even the sex is badly done.

The author could use some work on her spelling, grammar, punctuation, and idioms.
