National and International bestselling author! I’m Coe and I do three things fast and Driving, drinking, and pleasuring women. But I gave up drinking—and drugs—a couple years ago. Which left more time to peruse the other two hobbies of mine. Because racing and women are the only things that free me from a past that still haunts me. That is, until you. You are legal now and all woman. Your perfect ass is waltzing through my life, complicating the hell out of it. You’re innocent, but your family is a rough crowd. I can’t get mixed up with that again. I have races to win and money to make. But damn you’re gorgeous. Different. Better than me. Better than everyone in this small desert town. You should stay away from me, baby. Because if you keep tossing me those looks and biting your lip, I’ll do a hell of a lot more than be a one-time bad choice for you. I’ll take your sweet little body and mouth in ways you can’t imagine, and I’ll do it over and over again. And I won’t care that you’re my enemy’s baby sister or that you’re fast becoming my new addiction and leaving in a few weeks. So come on, baby. Come closer. I dare you.
I love that this series is from the guys point of view. It really gathers your attention and makes you want more. Coe is a recovering addict that can't stop thinking about Shay (his old drug dealers sister) even though he knows he shouldn't. Coe decides to act on his feelings and they are fire!!! Such a good book!
I think this book could be classified as older man/younger woman but yet I didn't feel like their age difference was that important. The only issue with this this was the Coe had more "experience" than she did.
I think that Shay was exactly what Coe needed. She knew his demons but she saw past that. It killed me every time Coe had to confirm that he wasn't using and that he didn't feel the need. What a way to live. Everyone is rooting for you, but yet they are waiting for you to fail.
This was a book that was very Explicit from the start. They were like night and day. This young couple had a lot to overcome. She saw him for the person he truly was, not for loser he perceived himself to be!
This book is written from a different third person perspective.I didn't love the writing style in this series. I found it hard to really get sucked into the book. The characters were kind of unremarkable for me. I hate that he chose not to be honest from the start. I hate that she decides to hold things against him. Some steam. This was mostly a blah book for me. Only one sibling left to go.
I race dirt tracks and make good money. My brother fixes any problems with the car at his garage. The last virgin in town wants to hook up with me and that goes very well. She’s a hot redhead with a temper to match. Enjoy
I really enjoyed reading Coe and Shay story. I love all the characters in this series and I can't wait to read the next book. I recommend reading this book.
well Coe was a manwhore so I started the book not liking him and the storyline was weird and rush. again felt like a novella. and felt a lil sus with him almost "waiting" for her to be 18...
