As usual I am starting a series on book 2. I wasn't lost by doing so and I soon learned the BFF group dynamic as well as about the characters.
The narrative is interesting here as it isn't just first person and it does switch between characters. This is unusual but it worked. The plot was a little slow but not to an extent that the book became boring.
I don't have many negatives from the book. The plot could have been tighter, there could have been a more even spread between the characters as they all had parts to play (pun acknowledged). It was an acceptable and likeable read. I would read more of the series.
