The epic journey continues...

Kaeleigh, Daegan, Finn, and Ella have just escaped the Forest of Lumei, surviving with the help of the Dryad Priestess, Andreinna. Now, focused on getting to one of the few portals leading to the mortal realm, they continue their journey together through the desolate lands of Alandria. They witness the truth of the land’s fading magic before making it to the portal, and their help is needed in the small town of Kandri where the darkness has infiltrated in mysterious ways.

Pairing up, they set out on three missions: Finn with Ella, seek allies amongst the Twined residents of Tylínyth. Kaeleigh and Daegan search for a map to lead them to the Book of Lenoria in order to reach The Orchids. Meanwhile, Chel and Hal seek allies among the Shifters of Mandü tré Lan with a few surprises of their own.

She—the mistress of darkness who resides in the mountains of Exhile—has tried time and again to free herself from captivity. The Orchids unknowingly provide her a source of energy to accelerate her plan for freedom, but how much more will be required? Her power is growing and She is amassing forces of her own.

The allies are gathering, but will they come together in time?

Will Maleina’s plans for ultimate power in Alandria be her own undoing?

The light of Alandria is fading.
But the fight is far from over, in fact, it is just the beginning.

The fourth book in The Age of Alandria series is an exciting adventure that continues the fight to save the land of Alandria from loosing its magic, gain freedom for the Orchids and stop She, the destructive mistress of darkness. I loved the characters in this book, they each have very individual personalities and the excellent descriptive writing makes you feel their heartache, uncertainty, pain and love. A lot happens in this story, it’s a thrilling adventure that twists, unfolds, and then twists again. It’s hard to put this book down; the story just draws you in and it won’t let you go. I will look forward to the next book in the series.

Another good installment in the Alandria series

This book in the series was definitely full if transition and building relationships between characters, but it also sets the stage for the final battle for Alandria. I'm excited to see where Morgan Wylie takes the story. My favorite parts of Fading Light centered around Chel & Hal as they denied their feeling's and searched out the Shifters.
There's a lot of kissing in this book and hints at more but nothing explicit. Would continue to recommend this series to teens and older who enjoy fantasy and adventure tales.

"Fading Light" by Morgan Wylie continues the epic saga of Kaeleigh, Daegan, Finn, and Ella as they navigate the perilous realms of Alandria in a desperate quest against encroaching darkness.

As a fan of Wylie's richly imaginative world-building and compelling characters, diving back into the Age of Alandria was a thrilling experience. The journey picks up where the previous books left off, with our heroes grappling with newfound alliances and confronting the ominous forces threatening to engulf their world.

Wylie's storytelling prowess shines as she masterfully weaves together multiple plotlines and character arcs, each one adding depth and complexity to the overarching narrative. From the desolate landscapes to the mystical portals and treacherous towns, every setting is vividly portrayed, immersing me in the vast and intricate world of Alandria.

The dynamics between Kaeleigh, Daegan, Finn, and Ella deepen as they face personal challenges and forge unbreakable bonds in the face of adversity. The stakes are higher than ever as they race against time to thwart Maleina's sinister plans and preserve the fading light of their homeland. The addition of new allies and unexpected twists keeps the suspense taut and the excitement palpable throughout the story.

"Fading Light" is a testament to Wylie's ability to blend fantasy with elements of mystery and adventure seamlessly. The narrative is imbued with themes of courage, sacrifice, and the enduring power of hope, making it a compelling read for fans of epic fantasy.

For anyone seeking a captivating blend of magic, danger, and unforgettable characters, "Fading Light" delivers on every front. I eagerly await the next installment in The Age of Alandria series, eager to see how Kaeleigh and her companions will continue to navigate their tumultuous journey and confront the shadows threatening to engulf their world.

This book is a must-read for fantasy enthusiasts looking for an immersive and exhilarating escape into a world where darkness and light collide in a battle for the fate of Alandria.

Such a great story

Sometimes a series can get a little stagnant the longer it goes on but The Age of Alandria just keeps getting better and better with each chapter. I love uncovering all the mysteries along with the characters, it’s like I’m going through the adventures with them. Fading Light has a great balance of action, suspense, personal growth, redemption, and more. There’s so much emotional investment into not only the characters but the world of Alandria itself. It’s going to be so hard to wait for the next book.

This book has been well worth the wait. I fell in love with the characters in the first book and love them even more with each book I've read. This book picks up where the last left off.

I won't post details as I don't want to spoil it but if have read the last books, you must read this one. It is an amazing journey. I can't wait to see what happens next.
If you have not yet started the series, I recommend this to YA readers.

Fading Light brings readers right back into the world of Alandria and the characters we have been following through this adventure! This fourth book had a lot of transitional moments for the characters, and everything is certainly leading up to the final book in the series. I like the additional romantic scenes. It certainly gets heated, and while the romance is very tame, it was super sweet! I am very much looking forward to the 5th and final book of the series.

Enthralling!

I am just absolutely loving these books! I have read the first 4 books one after the other and I cannot wait to see how the coming battle transpires. I love the characters, the girls are strong, funny and independent and the men are strong, honourable and protective. Such likeable characters. Highly recommend this series!!

This is my favourite so far!
I have never wanted to bash a character over the head with a shovel so many times as I have in this book.
Finally the storylines are coming together and the chess pieces are nearly where they need to be for the final battle.
I cannot wait to see what’s coming for them!

A fabulous continuation

This book has a lot to chew on. So much is happening through out the book. But the writing is smooth so you don’t get overwhelmed just gently carried through the adventure.

This is my first book in this series, and I wish I had read all the others first. There is so much going on and it totally pulls you into their world. I will have to go back and read the rest of the series and then come back to this one.

Continued journey

I chose 5 stars for this book. I loved it. The continued story of each of the characters grow more with each book. Even though they each had their own tasks I feel the next book will reveal all unanswered questions. I can't wait for it.
