I received this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I have to admit, at first I wasn’t loving Leon and Lilith. Leon was a jerk and Lilith was a bit too crazy. However, after getting to know them and their stories, I loved them. Lilith ended up being a total bad ass and Leon just needed a wake up call. I don’t know if I love them as much as Rose and Draco (because they are the cutest couple on the planet) but I still liked them together. They brought out the best in each other and their personalities worked well.

description

AJ continues to one of my favorites. We’re slowly learning more about him and his history and all I can say is, I need more! He’s such a precious little cinnamon roll.

In terms of the overarching storyline, things are definitely getting interesting! I’m really curious to see how everything all plays out because it seems like we’re only just getting started and that everyone is all connected in some way. There’s definitely something big coming for sure!

Once again, the playlist was on point. Two of my favorite songs at the moment (“Havana by Camila Cabello and “Whatever it Takes” by Imagine Dragons) were on it, so of course I loved it.

Overall, this was a superb installment to the Hero Society series. I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

descriptionSOOOO...I was really looking forward to this book. I loved book one and I seem to have a thing for superhero romance type books, alas this one just didn't WOW me as much as the first book did. Mainly because I just could NOT stand the heroine. But honestly, I really struggled to connect with both the main characters.

description

~WRITING - PLOT - PACE~
So even though I struggled with this book overall the writing was still very good. The pace was a tad slow for me but this may be because I struggled with the main couple a lot. That said, the plot was still very engaging and I still am enjoying the overall story arc. It's also told in dual POVs which I always prefer as it tends to make the book feel more complete.

~HERO~
Leon...he was OK. I certainly liked his character more than Lilith but he was NO Draco that is for sure. He came across to ME very BETA and weak. I don't know, maybe my expectations got the better of me but I was expecting someone a lot more alpha and domineering. Who went after what he wanted not hid from it.

~HEROINE~
Lilith...sigh. She is really why the book lost most of its stars. I did not like her AT ALL. I *think* the author was trying to go for quirky bada$$ but for me, she just can across like a weirdo crazy stalker. I hated the way she spoke. I hated the way she acted. Lord, I just really didn't like her character in the least (lol).

~SECONDARY CHARACTERS~
All the characters from book one show up again in this one plus we get to meet a couple new faces as well. Charles intrigues me as does Mina.

description

~HEAT LEVEL~
Low. Even though this couple gets married right off the bat they don't get around to having sex until 60% in. To that end, one of the other big issues I had with this book was that is just never felt a sexual (or any kind of) connection between these two. Hell, Leon runs away to avoid her the day after they get married. Honestly, he never seemed to even like her half the time. He certainly didn't seem to be lusting after her. And Lilith just seemed to be OTT in her chasing of him considering the lengths he went through to avoid her.

~ANGST LEVEL~
Low. I didn't find this very angsty and there was no OW or OM drama. The hero wasn't a manwhore, and neither were virgins.

~IN THE END~
I was OK. My enjoyment came mostly from the overall storyline and the secondary characters. Both main characters just weren't my cup of tea. It happens. That said, I am still fully onboard with this series and can't wait to see what this author has up her sleeve for our superheroes next. Yours truly gives this one a thumbs up.description

"Two broken halves of a soul, made whole together."

Jessica Florence is BACK! And she's not alone. Draco, Rose, AJ, and Phillip, my beloved characters from DAWN, come to join Leon & Lilith on this new mission to protect humans from the shadows that threaten mankind.

I confess that as much as I love Draco & Rose—I think I may love Leon & Lilith a little bit more. And even though, at the beginning, I wanted to throat punch Leon, he was a little bit of an asshole, I ended up adoring the dynamics between them. It was all so entertaining.

"We were both lit on fire in our need for each other's taste. she pushed, then pulled me back in, like the ocean I loved."

Jessica has the ability to transport me into the pages of this fantastic tale. She brings to life characters that touch my heart and gives me a love story to fall crazy in love with.

DAWN was ah-mazing, but DAY is now my absolute favorite in the series. And the funny thing is that there are more characters coming, so I'm afraid I will be saying the same thing about the next book.

Battles against the evil keep the excitement high, but the love and the friends that become family is what makes this story shine!

If you feel like reading something different, give this superhero romance a chance. I seriously can't wait for the next one.

"She saw the broken man in me and was willing to give me her heart to mend mine."

4.5 Stars!

Ever since I read the last page in DAWN, I couldn't wait for DAY. I needed to know what was going to happen next. I missed the Hero Society and I couldn't wait to see what every individual was up to. And I was also intrigued to learn more about Leon. Learn how he came into his powers and what role he'd play in the Society.

Leon was on fast track to become something of himself. An all-star football player who had his sights set to playing in college and then the NFL. But something he didn't see coming derailed his plans. And an unfortunate accident that he had no way of stopping made him an outcast and left Leon with so much guilt. No matter how much time has passed, Leon will never forget what he did and how it impacted the life of his friend. To Leon, he deserves to feel that guilt and there's nothing that will change his mind otherwise.

Lilith has been through a lot. At a very young age she's seen the ugly the world possesses. The things that have happened to her, no one should go through. But instead of letting all that darkness consume Lilith, she does her damnedest to let the light in. She was such a strong heroine that I admired. I liked how uplifting and positive she was considering the bad that'd been done to her. She was such a badass and such a warrior. I absolutely loved her!

Leon and Lilith together were freaking awesome! The way Lilith brought Leon out of his shell, though it too time was great. The banter between these two had me laughing. Lilith was exactly what Leon needed. The progression to their relationship was refreshing to read. I honestly couldn't get enough of them.

And also, I liked getting back to this superhero world. Learning what every individual was up to. Getting that excitement from the Heroes' missions. I basked in the adrenaline that the Heroes were feeling. Escaping back to the Hero Society is just what I needed and I can't wait for the next book. So excited to see what Jessica has in store.

Lilith is the shiz
Leon is everything
Lilith & Leon : #CoupleGoals
Story is #CoolAF
Plot is #OnPoint

My Advice : Join the Society
In Summary:
I’m putting my buds in my ears, selecting my “badassery” playlist, moving to Seahill & joining the Hero Society. Can’t wait for Dusk.

PS: Day may be the second instalment in the Hero Society Series, but that is about the only thing it comes second in.

PPS: And as for JFlo, her male characters are without a doubt book boyfriend solid-gold, but no shiz, it’s her heroines that make me want to stand up and give her a fricken standing ovation.

"Firebirds rise, firebirds fly."

Day is wild and beautiful. It is fast paced, emotional, and full of surprises. If you enjoy super hero romances with crazy twists, this one is for you!

Jessica Florence has impressed me again. She was able to capture intense emotion within her writing, while creating a story that was fun, imaginative, and easy to read. She also added two more wildly dynamic characters to the hero society.

Lilith was insane! She was passionate and tempestuous, and utterly unpredictable. She had an intensely dark past and brought such ferocity to the story.

"Two broken halves of a soul, made whole together."

Leon was tall, dark, and brooding. He was incredibly strong, and emotionally closed off due to his past. I loved his personality and the way he counteracted Lilith.

Day was vivid and captivating. It had the heart and soul of a young adult fantasy with a little bit of mature adult content. The romance was turbulent and heartwarming, and though the plot was a little predictable, it was exciting and unique.

If you enjoy edgy, fast paced, fantasy stories with some steamy scenes, you will love this series. Jessica has created a highly developed world full of unique characters. The books are fun to read. They invoke powerful emotions and are exhilarating and entertaining.

"We will always rise above and fight the shadows, even after there is no light."

Jessica has given us another action packed story with some really interesting characters. This read had a lot of high energy details. We see Rose and Draco again and they are definitely in the middle of a great HEA. Phillip is still his mysterious nerdy yet hot psychic self.
Lots of other side characters and Leon has finally been drawn out and invited to the Hero Society.
Yet where this story took over my senses was our heroine. Lilith is really the absolute "hero" of this story.

She overcame years of trauma and lives her life without abandon. Leon swept her off her feet that first night and she saw the other half of her soul in his eyes. Leon wasn't a hero for me till the end of the book sadly. But I stopped reading this as a romance the first time he made me mad. I need my hero to be the pursuer and to deserve the heroine and Leon just pushed away and fought it too much. This part of the story lacked for me. So moving on and being invested in all the suspense and other characters, I started reading it as an action and suspense story. I loved Lilith and how brave she was.

Charles really also showed what resilience is. This is not really a love story but it's a survival story with hope for mankind because these heroes are going to be there to stop wrongs and help those that need it.
3. 5 Action packed stars.

4 great stars!!

This is book 2 in the “Hero Society” series. I do not believe this should be read as a stand alone. Book one was so phenomenal that I could not wait for this book and now I am on pins and needles for book three!!!

This is your modern day heroes. Hence the name “Hero Society”. I love this group of people by the way. This story is mainly focused on Leon (super strong) and Lilith (I’ll let you find out about her yourself). The plot of this book, of course, was their budding romance finding the Hero Society but also, stopping the bad guys. In the blurb it mentioned Raven trying to sway Leon to the other side. Though that did happen, I don’t think it was more then a little blip in the book. There was some really action packed scenes, some heart warming and heart breaking scenes and some all too sexy scenes. This was an all together really good story.

Leon and Lilith make one hell of a couple. Leon is brawn and he does brawn well. He overcomes a lot and I truly enjoy him. At first I thought, wow Lilith is like certifiably crazy and this character is confusing me. As time went I got it and I learned to love her. But the beginning of the book threw me a little and I couldn’t really stay focused. But the second half was great and I am ready for the next book.

Draco and Rose are still perfect. I still love seeing them together. There were some twists in this book that you had no clue about and that made the story that much better. And now we have some new characters you will meet. Sooo exciting. I love the story line and this author is a very good writer. I can’t wait to hear more about my new favorite heroes!!!

I loved this story! Lilith was fantastic! She was the type of heroine I crave in stories. Strong, smart, capable and brave. She was so much fun to read about and I loved seeing things from her point of view. Leon was the opposite in some ways. He was a recluse by choice, and not open at all. He fought his connection to Lilith, and it was so much fun to watch his walls slowly crumble down. Together they were perfect. I loved that Leon wasn't intimidated by Lilith and was happy to admit she was the more competent of the two when it came to a fight. I loved that she was the one in many cases to rescue him, and I loved that their dynamic was never tainted by that. It felt right. I am loving this superhero series, and can't wait to read the next book! I definitely recommend to romance fans who like some action mixed in with their stories.

Ok, so I loved Dawn, and I have been so excited for Day. Well, let me tell ya- JFlor did not disappoint! I just ADORE Leon and Lilith! Leon is lonely, brooding perfection. I enjoyed watching him come into his own and learn how to control his powers. Also, I’m a huge fan of heroines who totally kick ass, and Lilith is freaking amazing! She is smart, sexy, and oh so lethal. I love it!
Day is action packed, just the way I like it. It kept on on the edge of my seat the entire time! I should also add- I basically read this in one sitting, that’s how great it is!
If you’re looking for something different, you should absolutely give this superhero romance a try. Start with Book 1, Dawn, and then read this awesome sequel. I can’t wait for Book 3. That sneak peak at the end had me totally intrigued!

Day by Jessica Florence is the second installment of her superhero series Hero Society. It could be read as a standalone, IMO, but best read in series order. Are you a fan of Marvel or DC movies, TV shows or comic books? If so you will love these books! Day follows two new to us characters, Leon & Lilith, though we still get time with Draco & Rose and the rest of the gang. Leon believes his gift is a curse and even though he's known about his gift for years he hasn't come to terms with it. Lilith isn't gifted like Leon but none the less she's skilled because of her dark past. I adored these two and how they got together and their path. I devoured this story in no time and I can't wait for the next installment of this amazing superhero story ~ I refused to read the sneak peek because I want to enjoy it all together! 5 "Star" Stars for Day by Jessica Florence

I was pleasantly surprised when I started this book to discover that the POV is from two new main characters. I absolutely love that! So the series has an overarching storyline that continues, but each book revolves around a new couple. But don’t worry, we still see plenty of the individuals from the previous book.

After an accident at 16, Leon has considered his gift to be a curse. He has never gotten past what he did. Lilith gives the appearance of being a bit unhinged, but she is definitely someone who is full of surprises.

I absolutely loved where Leon and Lilith’s story progressed. This book is full of so many surprises & I definitely love Lilith’s craziness. She is unabashedly her own woman and I love everything about her. The faith she has in Leon is amazing.

I cannot wait to start the next book in this series!

I've been interested in this series for a while now; and, even though this is a new-ish genre for me, I truly enjoyed it. I read Dawn in one sitting; and the next day, I did the same with Day.

In my limited knowledge and experience with supernatural books (and movies or series), JFlo managed to grab my attention and enlightened me to that world.

It was such a fun read and I loved Leon & Lilith's romance. Florence's heroes are amazing but I adore her unique heroines so much more. It was refreshing to read and these characters are what make this series really shine.

I can't get enough and I surly can't wait for Dusk because just from the sneak peak I know it's going to be amazing. I have a feeling this series will only get better, it already is with each book. I do hope they find more heroes in the next book though.

This is a fun series. I'm enjoying the building of their Hero Society. There's a simplicity to the writing, which makes it easy to follow, but also leaves little plot holes. But there's plenty of action, so that's nice. I wouldn't call Leon and Lilith's relationship a romance. It's more of a healing and second chance at life for both of them. But I liked how things ended with them. I'll continue this series because I'm enjoying the characters and look forward to what the next big adventure will be.

The adventure continues as new heroes come out into the light. But as enemies of the Society threaten to destroy anything that gets in the way of their pursuit of total power, an unknown powerful enemy emerges. As the danger grows, so does their persistence in finding others to join their Hero Society and save the world.

Good series so far. Will definitely continue reading it!

Yet again Jessica Delivered a new Super Hero Power Couple.
With a unique string of events and characters.
This time though the Hero Society is up against not only the Evil Society but to make people believe In this society. Especially Leon Daniels.
--
Leon Daniels has seen his days of glory & honour to Failure & degradation.. after finding out having superpowers in a hard way it left a mark on him that eventually turned him into Recluse.
-
“Sometimes even the darkest of souls can see the light. If they are willing.”
--
Then comes a night where he meets the crazy, unpredictable, badass Lilith & that's a start of some crazy set of events, one in particular being getting married...
-
“Hiya, I’m Lilith Sage. Dancer, lover of music, and retired spy goddess divine."
-
“Leon Daniels. Stubborn ass, fisherman, freak with powers, anger issues, and a shitty memory problem"
--
But history always says that alcohol and decision only creates chaos & for one time this decision harboured immense problem for Leon.
He couldn't get annulled for 1 month.. all he had was to get away from Lilith.
--
As for Lilith this 1 month was all she had to get Leon Believe in their marriage and chemistry.
-
"Her siren song had finally captured this sailor."
-
{ P.S. - She was my FAVOURITE character in this book. Her personality was the best of all, alluring, confident, a beauty of its own, she was the kind of crazy that everybody wants and be.}
--
Lilith & Leona chemistry was too die for. It was dreamy, loveable, funny and dramatic.. Their bickering was AH-MAZING to watch & Lilith's on-the-spurt moments were Hilarious.
-
"Lillth was doing more than just looking at me on the outside, She was peering into my soul, like she was familiar with it."
-
Now Lilith and Leon had two things to conquer, an enemy & their falling marriage. They had a hidden enemy to fight & their only chances was together & with the Hero Society.
All it needed was For Leon to take that step and jump.
--
As the timing is ticking they need to Figure out where to invest and how to tackle all these problem.
The society needs them.. And they need the society too...
As only together they can conquer them.

Day - Hero Society 2 by Jessica Florence
Superhero Romance. Does not stand alone, read Dawn first.
I read TWO books in a month. I was in a total rut. Then I started Day by Jessica Florence and read it in one day! It’s completely unique, fun, sexy and exciting all in one.
"Two broken halves of a soul, made whole together."

Leon…poor Leon. He has super strength and speed, but when his powers manifested, he caused grave damage to his best friend and will never forgive himself. One night after a few too many drinks he met Lilith.
“Hiya, I’m Lilith Sage. Dancer, lover of music, and retired spy goddess divine."
“Leon Daniels. Stubborn ass, fisherman, freak with powers, anger issues, and a shitty memory problem"

I loved Lilith! She was a bit of a freak but I loved that about her.
“You’re Determined.”
“You mean crazy.” She giggled.

Leon took a little longer to warm up to. I wish he was as alpha as his powers suggest, but the years of guilt have taken their toll on him. He needed someone like Lilith to bring him back.
"Lillith was doing more than just looking at me on the outside, She was peering into my soul, like she was familiar with it."

I loved how the whole Hero Society storyline is developing and that some superheroes may not have special powers but they are heroes nevertheless.
“We’ve been through this before. We keep moving, keep training, and keep searching for more like us. Hopefully with word getting out about us, others will join. We are out in the light of day, and now we can fight back the shadows as they come.”

Day is like a combination YA novel and erotic romance. I feel like Jessica’s writing and the story of this particular series would really be a great YA series if we lowered the ages just a bit and removed the detailed sex. There is just something a little immature about the writing that I actually found endearing (maybe overuse of exclamation points?). I think that young, fresh feel is also part of the thing I really enjoyed about it.

Likes:

•I loved Lillith!
•Fun and kind of campy.
•I loved the new side characters.
•Wasn’t very predictable.
•Totally unique concept.
•Visiting with previous characters.
•I laughed while being on the edge of my seat.

Dislikes:

•A bit immature. (But I kind of liked that)
•Not quite enough of a romance for me.
•Could have used another round of editing.

The Down & Dirty:
I am totally invested in The Hero Society and I can’t wait to read what happens next. This is my first superhero series and it has me wanting to find more like it. Jessica Florence is great at writing unique and quirky characters, and The Hero Society books are fun, exciting, and totally unique. I can’t wait for the next!

This may be Jessica Florence’s BEST book to date!
I absolutely loved Lilith and Leon...they were so opposite and so right! Lilith is a feisty and playful bad a$$ heroine with a dark past and Leon himself has a past he hasn’t quite let go of. Together these two characters are dynamic and fierce! This book is super suspenseful , super hilarious and super sexy! Lilith and Leon may be one of my fave couples of Jessica’s! I loved seeing her characters grow even more from “Dawn”, I love meeting new characters and being in their world. It’s like a movie playing right before my eyes. Jessica always seems to up her game with each new book she writes and you can tell in her writing how much of her heart she put into these books! This series is going to be EPIC!

I freaking loved Dawn and couldn't believe I was lucky enough to get to review Day because I love superheroes mixed with some steamy romance!

The Story. I have to say that I might have enjoyed Dawn a smidge better only because I felt like I was dropped into this storyline without any kind of background on our two main characters, Leon and Lilith. I was meeting them and then they were getting drunk and the next thing I knew they were married! Once I got past that, it was smooth sailing. I thought it was pretty well written and had a great cast of characters. my favorites are still Rose and Draco, but I did enjoy Leon and Lilith once I got to know them a little bit better. They both have some pretty tough backstories, especially Lilith, which brought a lot to the depth of character they each had. One of their missions was slightly confusing, but other than that I really got a kick out of the superhero aspect of the story. We really got to see them all in action in this book because they exposed themselves to the world during one of their daring rescues. I can't wait to see what the next book will bring!

Leon. Leon has been a recluse and hiding his strength and speed gift ever since he accidentally paralyzed his best friend, Charles, during one of their high school football games. He lives in constant fear of hurting those around him and keeps to himself because of it. The only person he stays close to is Charles, but that causes him a lot of guilt. He is not expecting some random girl, Lilith, to become his wife and then be approached by a society who is wanting him to help save the world. He wants nothing to do with either of them, but it seems fate has other plans.

Lilith. This poor girl has been put through the wringer, but she is still a complete badass who protects her mind by dancing her way through life. Lilith is quirky and a little strange, but she definitely grows on you, especially after she takes out a man twice her size. Lilith has a tragic past that has made a tremendous impact on who she is and the way she is. I loved reading about how she opened up with Leon, and her story. She truly is a phoenix rising from the ashes.

I recommend this series to those who love: superheroes, romance, tight knit groups, strong heroines, and protective heroes.

A High school Football hero with a promising future as a professional football player ahead of him, Leon’s future fell apart when he gained his abilities in the middle of the game. Unable to know what was happening to him, he wound up causing the accident that left his best friend paralyzed from the waist down. With both his future and his best friend’s future destroyed, Leon cannot manage to shake his guilt over the accident or to find a way to forgive himself.

Then one night he meets a mysterious young woman and two of them connect in a way that neither has ever truly connected with anyone else before. After a single evening getting to know each other, the two get married. Unfortunately in the morning Leon has no memory of what had passed the night before, or who the woman sharing his bed was. Legally, they will need to wait 30 days before the law will allow them to annul the marriage. But Lilith wants to stay married to the man she fell in love with the previous night. Can she find a way to remind him of how perfect they were for each other?

Not long after that they are discovered by both the relatively new Hero Society as well as that group’s counterpart… run by a man named Emmanuel. The Hero Society wants them to join and help save the world. But Emmanuel would be just as happy to destroy them and to steal Leon’s powers, killing him in the process.

I really enjoyed reading this book and found it almost impossible to put down. It is quite an enchanting and at times very sweet tale. I do wish it had gone through another round of editing before publishing, as a little more “cleanup” would have greatly improved my reading experience, but despite any typos I ran across, the story did draw me in enough to keep me wanting to read it nonstop all they way through. And with the teaser for the beginning of the next book in the series that I read at the end of this book, I really can’t wait to pick up the 3rd book in the series (“Dusk”) to see where the author will take the story from here. It promises to be just as interesting as this book was to read.

Just be warned, that while there isn’t graphic sex in the book, there are sexual encounters that make this book a little inappropriate for younger readers.

The one thing you know your going to get with this series of Hero Society is an absolutely fantastic book. When you lock this in to start reading you know you are going to be swallowed whole into another world, and i am loving everything about this series.

I loved the first book Dawn it was so good to read something that had the romance in it but also gave you such an awesome story with some good hard action. I was wondering where Day was going to go but have no fear Jessica Florence made Day into such an awesome second book for the series.

As we know from the first book we had characters forming a society of hero’s and they are still recruiting and when they go on search for the next guy to join it’s not as easy as they thought. Leon was a great character and he was just trying to exist as he was trying to write some wrongs from the past and he wanted to be left alone, but with some events that occur at the beginning of this story he was sure to show us he was a hero and he was a good person.

Lilith was a spitfire and i loved her, she was go go from the start and she was not stopping until she got what she wanted. I loved her character aswell and for what she had gone through she really was an intriguing character and i loved her never give up attitude.

When you have a series, and they go onto the next couple and we only get little snippets of the other couples in the books, the thing i love about this series is we get all the characters just as much as there book and i can see they are starting to become a family not just a society

If you love tv shows like The Flash, Arrow, Hero’s and feel like reading something different that has the love story, steamy sex, but also has an amazing story and something so different YOU NEED TO READ THIS.

5 massive, huge, superhero Stars goes to this book and series love love love it.

ARC generously provided by the author in exchange of an honest review...

A spitfire. An arrogant ass. Throw in some super heroes with super powers, a Society that's keen to save the Mankind...and voila! You get a mind blowing five starrer.

DAY for me is like a sip of iced-coffee on a stifling summer day: refreshing, energising, and never fails to put a smile on my face!!

There aren't enough words to describe this beautiful series. Book 1..i.e DAWN, blew our minds of with ROCO (ROSE +DRACO). Book 2, is no less than DAWN. With LION (LILITH +LEON) in the lead, this book's an incredible piece which you all don't want to miss.

This is IT. This is the moment where I scream my lungs out "I love Jessica, I love JFLO..." I can proudly say that I consider myself to be a JFlo fan..

Leon Daniels, a stubborn asshole yet a sexy one is riding high with the guilt of hurting his best friend Charles,  due to the super powers which for him are no less than a trash. The society seeks him out to fight against Raven, but being a stubborn being, he pays no attention. Life throws him a curveball named Lilith, and OH LORD! do they dance around each other. Together they took the society and the world by surprise..

Lilith, that beautiful spitfire, I'm speechless. There are no truer words that describes her incredibly well. Being suffered at an early age, she lives her life the fullest and never backs down from challenges. Instead she dances around smoothly and defeats them with a smile on her face..
.

In this book  you'll get to meet few new people who seem beautifully interesting.. I'm so excited to see what Jessica brings out next..

***4.5 Stars***

SHIT JUST GOT REAL, SON!!!

Leon has lived a lonely life filled with guilt and self-loathing. One day, his powers acted up and that almost cost his best friend his life. He couldn't handle the shame that the label of being a freak and left behind his entire life.

description

Now he leads a life of solitude away from anyone he could ever hurt. Until he meets her who is his match in every way. On top of this both, The Raven and The Hero Society want him on their team. He needs to make a decision and he needs to do that quick.

Lilith came in like a wrecking ball and turned Leon's entire World upside down. Now she is his wife and follows everywhere he goes. She doesn't seem to grasp the concept of personal space but he needs to get away at all cost. He thinks he can manage to escape but Lilith has found her person and she won't let go even if it means following him into the Hero Society.

description

Y'all, Leon is my favourite. I thought I absolutely adored Draco but NOPE Leon has my heart now. I cannot wait to see how he saves the World again and again with those big muscles of his.

Lilith is such a freaking badass. Like I love her more than anyone else in this World. She is too pure for this cruel World but I am pretty sure she can kill people just with her eyes so yeah, you mess with my girl, YOU DIE!!!!

OH MY GOD THIS BOOK!! I have never been more in love with a couple than I am in love with Lilith and Leon. Where Leon is calm and reserved, Lilith is boisterous and out-going. They are such an unlikely pair yet made for each other. I just want them to be real humans so I could make them my best friends. *ugly crying* Also, these two give such hot chemistry, it's unreal. They left me panting and wanting more and more. I LOVE!!

More please!!

I am totally loving this series and would love to see this as a television series!!

Day is Book 2 in the Hero Society Series. This book focused on newly introduced characters but still had all the original characters from Book 1 (Dawn). You should still read these in order as Book 2 builds from Book 1. I loved this story! The author did a great job introducing new characters without abandoning the ones we love from Book 1. Her characters are all well developed and have distinct personalities. There are a bunch of characters in this book but there is no way you could confuse them because they are so well created.

This story has emotional ups and downs where I would be laughing one minute and be on the edge of my seat with my heart racing from what was happening. The cool thing about these stories is it wraps everything up while leaving room for more adventures and characters.

This book was really hard to put down and I found myself up way later then I should be because I couldn’t stop reading it!

I can’t wait for the next book!

If you ever want to try something different and outside of your norm, the best way to go is by reading this amazing and unique author’s work. Specifically her Hero Society Series!

GAH! Jessica has seriously done it again. I always used to hate it when my brother and father would talk Marvel and DC comics and movies, yet I feel myself falling more and more in love with her superhero’s. Marvel and DC can learn a thing or two from this woman and this series!

Day was SO much more than I was expecting! The best part? DEFINITELY Lilith! That woman is the definition of FIRE! Her spirit was just so free and enchanting! And then Leon is seriously such a sweetheart!

And seeing the rest of the society and having them be just as embedded into this book as the first one? It made me feel so nostalgic because I seriously missed this amazing group of hero’s.

I’m more than excited for the next book, and I can definitely say that I hope Phillip gets his own book in this series because he surely does deserve one.

Jessica Florence has done it again wi5h the second book in the Hero Society Series!

Day has it all... romance, comedy and a whole lotta suspense. The story is energetic and entertaining; keeping you on the edge of your seat and wanting more.

Day picks up right at the end of book one and we get to delve into the life and world of Leon, another human with special powers. Leon brings with him a a pile of baggage but there is something about him. He is this alpha, rugged, teddy bear that you just want to hug and love. But it's going to take a special kind of woman to brave Leon and all his gruff, anti-social ways.

Enter Lilith. If the term bada$$ was in the dictionary, Lilith's picture would be next to it. This woman is crazy, in all the best possible ways and may just be the perfect opposite to Leon despite her own brand of baggage she is carrying around.

Questions abound... are Leon and Litith soul mates? Can they and will they help the Hero Society? Can our Heros take down the big bad?

I did not think it was possible to love another couple as much as I loved Draco and Rose from Dawn, the first book in this series. I was totally wrong! I loved Lillith and Leon just a little more. I have to give it to Jessica Florence, she has done an amazing job with this series and each of the stories have been unique while at the same time entwining together flawlessly. My favorite part of this whole series is the way each character is blessed with an extraordinary gift while at the same time, they are broken and far from perfect. Superman, Batman, and all those heroes had it made. All of Ms Florence's characters are flawed and have something that makes them broken and sometimes a little twisty. This for me brings a reality to the story even the we are talking about characters with super powers. This is generally not my genre but I knew with this author I could not go wrong and once again, she did not disappoint!
