Вълшебна Коледа настъпва вече, а през гората бодро крачи мече. Къде ли тръгнало е в този мраз самичко в късен нощен час? И бърза, че нощта е кратка, а мисълта за Коледа - тъй сладка...
Much better effort from Bruce Talkington. This book really feels like a Pooh book. It has some of his wonderful thoughts, he says "Oh Bother" a couple of times. The story starts off with Pooh mistaking Piglet for a snowman and just rolls with it when Piglet doesn't believe that he didn't recognise him. The story explains that Christmas is about being thoughtful and thinking of others, which Pooh does to the extreme whilst falling asleep.
A good story and I'm now looking forward to the next book in this collection.
Thinking of someone and caring is the nicest gift of all.Pooh gives his friends each a stocking with plans of filling them with a present but falls asleep while thinking about present ideas. The next day they all arrive very happy with the present he did give them. They all used their stocking in a way that made them happy. And Pooh got pots of honey which we all know is his favorite treat.A reminder to us all that it is the thoughtfulness behind a gift that counts.
Kubuś Puchatek zapomniał o prezentach, więc szuka pomocy u Krzysia. Ten ofiarowuje mu skarpety na opakowania i Miś rozwiesza je, postanawiając usiąść wygodnie w fotelu i pomyśleć, co by tu komu podarować. Przyjaciele interpretują skarpety w zdumiewający dla Misia sposób.
My parents gave me this one 25 years ago, and it’s still a favorite in our house. I love how friends sharing simple no/low-cost gifts makes a special celebration.
My kids (ages 9, 5 1/2, almost 3, and 5 months) love this Christmas story. Surprisingly, the littlest one actually sits through the whole thing! It's a bit long for my nearly 3 year old's attention span, and that's or only concern.
The story is about Pooh Bear and his forgetfulness. He set up the tree with candles and everything, but he forgot all about presents for his friends. Poor Piglet seems hurt by this idea and walks off into the snow, which Pooh doesn't seem to notice, but he goes off to see Christopher Robin anyway to figure this Christmas thing out. Christopher Robin brings up another problem. Pooh has no stockings to put the presents in!
Of course, Christopher Robin helps Pooh out with his stocking problem, and after delivering each one Pooh falls asleep while thinking very hard about what present to give each of his friends. When he wakes up to his visitors he fears they'll be upset that he left stockings, but nothing to put in them, only to find out that the stockings turned out to be useful gifts that everyone loved.
This story really does demonstrate that Christmas is what you make of it, and it's not so much the gifts as the thought that counts. Pooh tried his best and in return all of his friends found his gifts very useful, if for no other reason than he tried so hard.
