Hadley never imagined that one night out for fun with the girls would be so crazy... They wound up in the little town of Colwood where a very tipsy Hadley decided to bid on a date with the fireman hunk that caught her eye and man what a wild night she had and now she is back in Colwood with something very important to tell Axel the hunk. She carries around the trauma of the loveless marriage her parents endured and she has sworn to never wind up like her mom. That's why she goes to Colwood with no expectations of anything.
Polar bear shifter Axel can't stop thinking about Hadley since that 1 night he had with her, but she is hundreds of miles away from Colwood, so he can only stalk her on Social Media and dream of what can never be. But then she miraculously appears and he swears fate has had a hand in it, but his dreams are very coldly shut down when Draven's brother shows up and freezes it all to hell. He and his brothers at the firehouse know how to put out a fire, but how are they going to put out ice?

After Hadley won a date with Axel at a charity auction she’s left with more than good memories.
Axel wants nothing more than to have a mate and a family and after his ‘date’ with Hadley he can’t get her off his mind so when she returns With some news he’s thrilled but finding out the father of your baby is a shifter and a dragon is trying to kill everyone maybe more than Hadley can handle, can he convince her they were meant to be together.
Another enjoyable story from the Colwoood shifters.

We get another of Draven’s nasty siblings pay a visit. He breathes ice and causes havoc amongst the shifters. Really interesting but unfortunately a very short story around that part.
Good story but what a negative downer Hadley was for the first half of this book. Why do people not understand they make their own lives, not mimic their parents. It took her a long time to realise this fact but I still didn’t warm to her, too little too late.
Poor Axel, all he wants is a mate and children, he was trying so hard trying to show Hadley how good he would be if he was in her and the babies life but was getting nowhere with Hadley as she kept shutting him down.
Really thought he was a sweetie and deserved someone who will appreciate him.
Thoroughly enjoyed the end with all the guys together fighting, both the Stetson and Clawed Squads working together.
Jax is being really cruel too which is not nice. Cannot wait to read his story to find out why he is such a grump.

This is book three in the Colwood Firehouse Series. I really enjoyed the previous two books in this series. Unfortunately, this one was not my favorite. Axel, did not do it for me because he came across as being too wimpy. I understood a little about his insecurities, but he is a huge Polar bear shifter! He did not live up to his powerful animal until the end. Hadley, I did not like at all. She was too hard and never came across as deserving of Axel. I can say Axel was sweet, hot and attentive.
I did love that the Claw Squad and all of the Vega brothers were included. I was shocked that the skin shifter was neutralized without even an attempt of using his gift. I found that I did not understand that since he had his own story.

I have to say I wasn't feeling Hadley at all. Her negative attitude towards Axel really piss me off. She was selfish, inconsiderate, and pretty much self centered. Poor Axel has the patient of a saint even with the ice queen (Hadley) attitude towards him he didn't give up hope that he could change her mind and they would be happy couple. I truly felt like she took advantage of his good nature. Just glad in the end that everyone got the HEA they deserve. Overall enjoyable and entertaining read. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no minority compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.

Wow I am on my third book in three days if that tells you how much I am enjoying reading this series. In the first book Draven had set up an Auction to help some of the children. The fire fighters were to be auctioned to the highest bidder for a date night. Axel with his muscular build came out wearing his fire gear, Axel also had a Polar Bear residing in him and Hadley could not help herself she bid on him and got him. She was just here on a short vacation she really didn't have the money to do this but she couldn't help herself. Instead of going on the romantic date like Axel had planned when he went to her hotel room to pick her up the couldn't resist one another and made love most of the night. The next day she left to go back home.
Ever since then he had been depressed there was just something about her that had drawn him to her. He found her on face book and began to look at her pictures just to see her and to let loose some of the depression that is until he heard her voice behind him asking him if he was stalking her.
Hadley and come back to Colwood to tell Axel something very important, something that was going to change both of their lives. She was pregnant with his child but she didn't expect him to be a part of the child's up bring. Axel was thrilled he thought that he was going finally have the mate and family that he has always wanted. But Hadley had issues from her past and was set to go back home the next day and not stay with Axel.
Axel felt defeated but when he got back to the firehouse it was covered in ice. Even Zane and Jax were in solid blocks of ice. It took a while for Axel to get the ice melted but it turned out that Draven's other half brother Valerius had showed up looking of him. His special gift that he was given once he was mated turned him into an ice dragon.
The next morning Hadley was trying to leave but the air port had been shut down. All of the planes and the flight tower had been covered in ice; including the landing strips. Axel had gone up there to see her off and everything was a mess. People shouting looking for cabs, rushing around. Axel took her back to the firehouse to stay until everything thawed out. It was his hope as well that he would have a chance to get her to fall in love with him as he was with her.
Okay, now things really start to get exciting at this part. With Axel meaning to give her the best view for the star at night, to having stuck on top of the fire truck with him racing through the town. Unknown to the both of them at the time it was to met up with Valerius and for the show down with him.
The questions is how were they going to defeat him? What about Hadley how was Axel going to keep her safe. What was she going to think when she saw a bunch of men turn into Grizzly bears, Polar Bears, and a Lion, all to fight this giant Dragon that shot out ice?
I can't wait to read the next book about Jax.

I absolutely loved reading this book! The characters are so funny and beautiful! I had to give Axel a 5 star rating because it made me LOL. Oh WOW! Axel and Hadley book is so exciting and funny. Their relationship is sizzling hot worthy of any type of genre, their characters are beautifully defined I didn't want to stop reading this because it had me laughing so hard. Hadley had a enjoyable vacation but she returned home with something she would have like to left behind in Colwood, Montana. Even though it's a consequence of her "night to remember with one of the hot local firemen, she would have been just as satisfied and relaxed. Axel is a rugged, sexy fireman and he's a polar bear shifter of the firehouse crew, Axels anxiously wants to find his fated mate so they can start a family right away. So, he is absolutely thrilled when his one-night-stand finds him and tell him her secret. The dialogue is sensual and it gives you the feeling that you are witnessing real love and devotion as it blossoms. I enjoyed the romance and Axel's determination to fell in love. It feels so captivating, realistic and enjoyable, what a truly passionate story! I would recommend this book to everyone who loves reading a great, funny and steamy hot paranormal romance.

This series is absolutely on fire! Pun intended. I have loved this series from the beginning and this latest book is certainly no exception. It seems some of the sexiest and sweetest shifters on the planet just happen to work at the Colwood Firehouse. These characters just jump right off the page and they draw you right into the story. They’re charismatic, authentic, and completely engaging. Axel is a gorgeous polar bear shifter with a heart of gold and a level of excitement for life and love rivaled only by the most energetic of puppy dogs. He is the total package. He and Hadley are a match made in Heaven, even if Hadley may not know it yet. No worries though. Axel can be verrry convincing. He can fight fires and dragons, all while wooing the love of his life. What woman stands a chance against that? I was hooked on this book from the very beginning and remained riveted until the very last page. It was exciting and enticing, impassioned and insightful, endearing and romantic, and completely compelling on every level. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sweet and sexy read.

Axel and Hadley
I love Axel. When we first met him he was always doing stupid stuff. I wasn't sure if he was a little slow or if he did it on purpose. In this book I learned that he really cared about his friends and tried to do whatever he could to make them feel better. It wasn't always the best thing but it always came from his heart.
Hadley was the woman who purchased Axel at the charity auction. She was from Philadelphia, so she left the day following their "date". She has come back to Colwood to tell Axel that she is pregnant and then leave again the next day.
Axel has done nothing but think of her since she left so he thought that he would get a second chance with her.
Draven's brother, the ice dragon, has made an appearance in town. He is freezing things including the airport so Hadley can't leave.
Axel continues to try to win Hadley's heart while they deal with the ice dragon.
Looks like maybe Jax is the next book. Can't wait to see what kind of heroine can put up with him and change his surly ways.

Hadley won a date with Axel.
Their date was very untraditional.
They skipped over dinner and went straight to dessert.
Now Hadley is back to drop a bomb on Axel.
Axel hasn't forgotten about Hadley since their date.
He sees her being back in town as an opportunity to have a mate and family, which is what he's been longing for.
Hadley already has her mind made up about what she wants and what she thinks will happen, and ends up giving Axel the cold shoulder.
Thanks to troublesome dragon shifter, Hadley is delayed from leaving, which gives Axel time to woo her and convince her that there's something between them worth exploring.
Like the two previous books, the firehouse crew must contend with a crazy dragon shifter with a dangerous agenda. Shenanigans are guaranteed.

A werebear story set to a different tempo. Instead of an alpha who knows his way around the female species we are introduced to Axel, one of the Colwood firefighters. Here is a man/bear who longs for a mate and cubs but doesn't realize his desires are about to come true until Hadley comes back to Colwood with a big surprise, she's pregnant. But the bigger surprise is that Hadley doesn't want to marry Axel; she just wants him to know she's carrying his baby but doesn't want or need to marry him. Axel does though and now he must try and win Hadley over. And oh this mistakes he makes. This was an enjoyable read for me even with the threat of dragons. The reader is also given a chance to reacquaint themselves with other characters from previous stories though not under the best of circimstances. I wrote this voluntary review in exchange for the ARC I received.

I loved Axel’s book, he was always the excitable and sweet one. The story was exciting and very enjoyable, and fits in nicely with the rest of the series.

This is another great read from Kim Fox in her Colwood shifter world. Axel, the energetic polar bear shifter, remembers the night he shared with the woman who won him at the auction and wishes he could have had more. His wish may be answered when Hadley returns to Colwood and lets Axel know she got more from their night together than either bargained for, a baby. Axel will stop at nothing to try and earn a second chance with her, even going to extremes on their first actual date. When their alpha's latest brother shows up to reek havoc on the town Axel and his crew will stop at nothing to protect what they have found, including making sure Hadley is safe. This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. This book is polar bear shifter, Axel’s story. I read this book in one sitting and wasn’t once bored. I really liked Axel. I liked how sweet and eager to please. He truly wanted Hadley to stay in town and be his mate. He was so happy when she announced her pregnancy. I liked Hadley but I wanted her to hurry up and give love a chance. It took her a while to realise Axel truly wanted her. I did see some chemistry between Axel and Hadley but I would have liked a little more.
I liked that Hadley’s quick thinking saved the shifters. She more or less saved their lives and took down the enemy.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and a nice read. I cannot wait for the next book in this series – hopefully Jax’s story.

Axel is in for a surprise when his one date from the auction shows up. She's pg and not planning to stay just let him know. He's always wanted a mate and family and Hadley is who he wants. Can he change her mind? There are some things she doesn't know. Not only that there is an ongoing danger to them all. Can he protect her and change her mind?
These are a cute and smart couple and I wanted them to find a way. I do enjoy this series. There are some guys I can't wait to see in the mate hotseat.

Axel has a thing for his date from the auction. Their one and only date leads to a unexpected surprise that Hadley has no idea what to do about it. The only right thing to do is let the father know. Axel is in seventh heaven and proposes right away, while Hadley is leery due to how her parents got married. Throw into this mix a Ice Dragon, Hadley learning about shifters, Axel trying to win Hadley’s love & trust and you end up with a very interesting story with great twists & turns.

Axel is a real sweetheart who is thrilled to hear that he is going to be a father. The mother, Hadley, is more concerned. She is really surprised by his response. He is determined to win her over. It is not a great time as there is also a dangerous dragon shifter out to get them too.
I really liked Axel. He has such a sweet side. He wants to gain her love and raise their child together. Hadley is more confused and not sure to trust in something with him or be a single mom. I really loved watching him try to woo her over.
I recommend the series but you could read it as a standalone.

Polar bear shifter Axel has not been able to get his mind off the beautiful woman he met at the charity auction. Unfortunately she is now the other side of the states. He never had much chance to talk to her.
Hadley has come back to Colwood with news for the sexy fireman. Never did she imagine that bidding on a date with him would then out like this.

Axel is a fireman in Colwood, Montana, a hiker call the station and said something was wrong in the forest. Jax, Zane, and Axel go to check it out. I love these stories and can't get enough of them. The very first series start with The Vega Ranch and then The Clawed Squad, I hope you get a chance to read them all because I truly enjoyed each and everyone of these stories. Kim Fox really knows how to write juicy stories and makes them so hot you can't put the books down. I received an ARC and have voluntarily left a review.

Hadley is in a small town not where she is suppose to be and she at a charity auction and bids so unlike her and unplanned. Now she has a date with a handsome fireman. Axel is a poker bear shifter and wants to mate and start a family since he this one girl.
Hadley only planned on a one night stand with a hot guy while on vacation in Colwood Montana but surprise she was a baby on the way
She comes back to tell Axel about the baby but she doesn't plan to stay. Axel is crushed then if that not bad enough a ice breathing dragon shows up. OMG
Lots of excitement in this one and the OMG of all fights scenes too. I love characters so much thier so sweet, funny and crazy to. It does have a happy ending so don't miss it,

This whole series are book I could reread over and over again.

Loved it!
So, apparently things went very well for Axel and his mystery woman from the Auction. But she was only in town for one weekend and He's been stomping around like a bear it a sore head ever since his date night with Hadley
Could it be possible the lady has warmed the Polar Bear Shifter's heart.
When Hadley returns to Colwood Axel sees an opportunity to persuade her to give him a chance, after all he still owes her a meal, since the last time they met they skipped straight to dessert ;)

Finally, Axel! He is so lonely and so ready for his mate and he doesn't care who knows. Hadley was attracted to Axel but she doesn't know him so she doesn't think relationship is possible. Well, enter the ice dragon, lol. Axel wears his heart on his sleeve and jumps in full throttle to convince her otherwise. They get a little more time and have to team up as danger returns to Colwood and shifters unite! Very exciting, hilarious and adventurous shifter romance. Also good to hear from some of the previous characters. Another great story!!!

I really enjoy this series. Who doesn't love hot sexy shifter firemen.
After the firemen charity auction Axel date went really well. Now the results show up on his doorstep. While he's obsessing about Hadley, the group still have an enemy in town somewhere waiting to strike again. With Draven being gone they don't know if they can defeat his brother.
I love that some characters from other series make an appearance in this book. I can't wait until Jax's story comes out. I would love to know his background.

I am determined to move to Colwood! I love this town of shifters..especially the firefighters. In the first two books in this series Axel came across as a fun loving guy. While that may be true, Axel really just wants his own mate and family. When Hadley returns to town, Axel finds that he may get half of his wish. That's not enough for Axel. He wants it all. Can he convince Hadley in time? Throw in an ice dragon out to rule the world and this polar bear may find himself left out in the cold.

After being bought in an auction to raise money for charity Axel goes on a date with Hadley. What Axel didn't know was that Hadley would return to Montana and change his life forever. Throw in a viscous dragon shifter that wants to take over the word and what could go wrong? Thus series gets better with every story. I can't wait to see what Kim has in store for Jax. I be this story is going to be a doozy.

Terrific addition to the series, I love Axel, he is so amazingly sweet!! When one hot night with an even hotter polar bear shifter ends up with a baby on the way, Hadley’s life is thrown for a loop. All Axel wants is a mate and a family, but Hadley has other plans, she wants nothing to do with sexy Axel. Can he convince Hadley to give him a chance at being a mate and father, or will a cold evil lurking in the shadows ruin his chance?

Oh man...this is one fine read! Let me tell you, this book has all the bells and whistles plus a kickass ending. I don’t know how she does it, but Kim Fox just keeps the best reads coming. The storyline is great; the characters are just as interesting as always, the twists and turns keep you glued to the story; and the HEA is totally awesome.💋 You definitely need to 1-Click this one today!!
