I live with my husband Dave and dog Buddy. My two children are grown and I have two grandchildren. I love to watch people and that has helped me with my writing. I often use people I watch as characters in my books and I always try to give my characters some of my own values and habits.
I love to create characters and put them in a troubling situation then sit back and let them do all the work. My characters surprise even me at times. At some point in the book, they take on a life of their own and the twists and turns they create becomes the story. Of all the stories, I could write I found I like mystery/thrillers the best. I like to keep my readers guessing until the very end of the book.

Twists, twists and well more twists....
This series is awesome. I have devoured it. I know more has to come because I have a lot of unanswered questions.
This author definitely leaves this reader in awe and confusion lol!! So many characters, kidnapping, twists and dangit awesome storyline. And I WANT MORE!!
So if you like MC sexy alpha bikers, mobsters oh wait let's call it McMafia woohoo then this is an author and series you will want to read. Seriously so many twists and revelations you can't wait to bump the corner of your kindle to find out more. I as a reader am definitely intrigued and in love with this series. The females are strong, fiercely protective in their own right I love it!!
Highly recommend this McMafia book series.

Great Read, HORRIBLE editing
These books are really good to read! There is a hook to grasp you in, and once your in, you don’t want to stop.
To who ever edited these books from this author, needs a new job. There were so many grammar errors, punctuation errors, and constantly repeats. Also, when one thing was mentioned, it was completely different in another chapter. Also the timeline was just bad. I honestly can’t describe the timeline in these books. Skipping way ahead of time, or mentioned something in the past as if it was 15 years ago, but says it happened a few days ago. Not too sure if that makes any sense. I’m not trying to bash the writer. I absolutely enjoyed these books. But to be an author, one needs to make sure the timeline is correct and that means to keep going over and over until you no it’s correct. Also the repeats of the same thing was annoying. The authors editor seems like he/she got paid to do nothing.
I do recommend these books, but for me it was just too many errors. Some can stand it an others like myself can’t get over it.

This is an MC read with not only sexy bad*ss bikers but a touch as hell woman who has one warning “Don’t Touch Me”. That is a fair motto for the life this woman has lived through since the age of three. As tough as it was she was the girl who tried to protect all the other children being held in this foster care home with a special lifelong protection of her best friend, Peaches. Nothing was better than when Cassie took out three bikers. As president of the Satan’s Spawn MC, Deke was amazed at the tenacity of this little spitfire and needed to learn more about her.
This story will break your heart and give you twists and turns that will have your head reeling. I loved Zeke and Cassie’s story and cannot wait to read more on this sensational couple.

Oh good gracious!!! I am so beyond in love with this series!! Every single bit of it has kept me on the edge of my seat! I am absolutely pulled right into it, and after thinking nothing more could possibly happen to Deke and Cassie, I couldn't have been more wrong! No mater where you go the past will always find you it seems. The way that several story lines seem to flow and mesh into this series has me in awe of K.J. Dahlen. I can't wait for the next thing to come from this amazing author!

There ate several storylines occurring at the same time yet the writing is fluid and there are no inconsequential characters. The romance is sweet and the action keeps you guessing! One of the best MC series I have ever read.

I love these books kim is a new author to me and she’s captured me hook line and sinker what was I doing missing out on her books she has a way of bringing the story to life while being believable and strong I so so so can’t wait for the next part in this series I hope there is a next one I can’t believe that the priest would just walk away from sawyer I want to know what happens I’m awaiting my next fix

Great read.
I'm in love with this series. I read the first volume and immediately went to the Kindle Store and purchased the entire set. While there are some grammatical errors they don't detract from the story. While available in Kindle Unlimited everyone should check them out and fall in love with good hearted alpha bikers and the women they love.

Fantastic wonder what we will find in the spin off can't wait. This book was not a disappointed had me turning turning to be be honest I would dream about it then in the light of day I would work if it was real or not I would have to go back a few pages behind lol

Just Read this Series, Without a Doubt Gripping a Page Turner!!!

Just so so good !!!
Omg. I can't stress enough how good this series is ! I don't know where K.J.Dahlen dreams these up from but I'm so glad she did. The action just keeps coming ,every time you think you know where the stories going bam comes another twist. Its one of those books you race they but don't want to end.

Amazing series that has left me wanting more from this previously unknown author to me.

Another fantastic, thrilling, engrossing read filled with wonderful characters and storylines! I loved catching up with the characters from the first two volumes and meeting brand new characters, both good, bad, and mysterious! So excited for the next installment in this series! Strong!
Ok so I read Pappy’s story before this bit this has a nice Segway at the end. This story is full of action and suspense. You are always on your seat to see what is coming next. I want Priest and Sawyer together! Thank you for creating such amazing characters and bringing them to life!!

This is the third volume ....
Overall it was okay for me. There is a running theme here of someone always bringing drama to the club and they have to rescue them. It's a little predictable on certain aspects, but the rest of the story is interesting.

Not my cup of tea.
I don't normally read motorcycle club books so I probably should have just skipped this one too. The writing seemed immature, the relationships were told to us, not shown, and entire sections/ conversations just seemed odd, out of place and unbelievable.

This is the third book in the series. I read the whole series in 3 days I honestly couldn’t put the books down. So full of twists and turns, never a dull moment in Troy. Best books I’ve read in a while! When can we expect Priest and Sawyer’s story? Can’t wait

Addictive reading
Wow these books are just so well written. They flow seamlessly and are full of twists and turns. I love how the women are not shown as meek and mild they have strength and the courage to fight for what's right.
