There may be better books on the subject... but I have no idea what they could add.
In a way, a review of a book is predicated on why the book was read; I was simply trying to get a general idea of what geomorphology was, and how it worked, and this book more than sufficed in getting me to feel awfully smart about it. There may be others who would recognize a better text, but I sure couldn't.
