Once I pick up the next Kendra and Kelly book, I can’t put it down until it’s finished.
CJ Thomas’ Black Series keeps racking up the tension.
In Black Regrets, the love gets stronger and stakes get higher with every book. As Kendra makes mistake after mistake, all backed by good intentions, I can’t help but want to throttle and hug her at the same time. Don’t get me started on Kelly. He’s got his nose in everyone else except Kendra.
I wonder what’s going on with Kendra’s uncle. Is he really stalking her for money or something else?
And the question that rises to the surface, book after book, what’s Madam’s game?
I pray CJ winds up this series or “show us the money.” Much as I love her writing, this baby needs to conclude.

Wow! Okay did anyone else want to throat punch Madame or was it just me? Each book just keeps getting better. Twists and turns with a cliffhanger. Can't wait for the next book.

Kendra and Kelly are still together, still going through the paces of trying to deal with Madam and every other piece of drama swirling around them.
Kendra's Uncle Marvin stalks her down and informs her that one of her parents is ill, which compels her to go home to see what's going on. She learns from her mother that her father is sick, but her mother doesn't do anything but anger her so Kendra storms out before even seeing her father.
Kelly continues down the path of trying to figure out who the murder is, and how to get Kendra out of Madam's grasp. He loves Kendra, but has yet to openly tell her that he wants to be with her beyond their 30 contract.
This series is seriously being drug out. I don't need to know every time one of the female characters 'gathers her hair and twist it in front of her shoulder' (which happened often enough that it's now branded into my mind's eye). I enjoy the plot and storyline, but there's so much 'fluff' that I just feel irritated at this point. What's going into book 5 now, could have easily been a solid and excellent 2-3 books.

The turmoil Kelly & Kendra find themselves in is unreal! The Madame can go jump off a cliff somewhere, a character I can't stand. Even with the very first chapter of the first installment, I could literally feel the slime coming off of her. The drama that keeps ensnaring our main characters is breath-taking and drives home the need to tell your loved one that you do in fact love them.
How long must we wait for the next installment? And to see the Madame's blissful demise?

and it continues
This is book four and the plot continues to thicken! Is it madam, sylvia, Blake stone? Who is killing the girls and why? Why does it seem like Kelly and Kendra have zero control of their lives? I love this series but, I absolutely hate the control that Madam has, that they allow her to have. I hate how helpless Kendra is! She made her way through life without family when she left home, she put herself through law school and has a law degree so how is she helpless? I have about had as much as I can take watching people run her over! She needs to find her backbone and stand the hell up for herself and her man. She worries she will lose Kelly after their month long agreement comes to an end, the only way that happens is if they let it. She and Kelly have law degree and dirt of madam; I would like to see them use it. The two of them together standing up to madam and tearing her empire apart is what I would like to see. Not this woo is me crap. Then there are kendra's parents who are using her for inheritance fraud, they are a fraud as a fAmily for letting uncle Marvin get away with raping kendra. Fight damn it! I want to see Kelly and Kendra use their brains and brawn to fight!!! Great series, love how it is wound right from every direction. Can't wait for book five to see where we go next! Love it, recommend it. It is HOT all the way around!

Who can they trust?
With every book in this magnificent series, I keep telling myself; it could not possibly get any more deeply involved than it already is- I mean, I already make sure I go back and reread the previous book just to make sure I am good to go before the next one.
*SIGH* you would think by now I would know better.
" Do you trust me? "
Once again, I sat back in awe reading this book watching this story get more and more involved as it went along, loving the mystery, suspense, hotter than Hades scenes I mean WOO! * fans self* ( even if my clean freak self almost had a heart attack during one of them, ha! It's me, I am the life of the sanitize and be happy party- hey it could be a thing)
Coupled with the constant back and forth between my favorite maddening duo. I love this edge of my seat curiosity, - just when I think I have it all unraveled, C.J Thomas throws another curveball into the ever-evolving equation. I cannot get enough! I am waiting impatiently excited and nervous about the next book Black Promises! -- No Pressure!
**A mystifying, sexy, darkness in the midst of light, love trying to break free from the past story that in my opinion just keeps getting better and better!**

Wow
How many more books I just want to know!!!!! 😍 💙 💖 I love the series but would like to know how many more books will there be before the series ends it's a great series it keeps you on the edge of your seat each time you read any of the books this book was excellent It's getting closer and closer I feel like it's getting closer to end but I like to know is there six books is there seven books I just want to know but this book was great had a lot of them brought a lot of it together and Kelly and Kendra are really getting themselves so together it's such a great love story I just want to know how many books really and I'll feel good to know the dates of somehow there is an end to it so if anybody can tell me how many books I really would appreciate it😊😊😊😉😉😉💖💙💖😍😍😍😍😍

Kelly and Kendra keep getting sucked in deeper and deeper into a world of murder, revenge, mystery, suspense and intrigue. Everytime they get an answer to a question it leads to two more questions. Madam's machinations become more lethal by the day. Kendra and Kelly both think her life is in danger. In addition their 30 day contract is almost over. Madam has vowed they will be separated.
There are numerous heart stopping and hold your breath moments in this book. It kept me turning pages to find out what happens next.

OMG!!! Can this series get any more suspenseful? Who do you trust? Will Kendra and Kelly ever come clean with each other and the secrets they're hiding from one another? Both are broken but are fallen more and more in love with each other, both will all the lies and secrets keep them from having a HEA? I was so hoping wormwood find out in this book but dang what an ending!!!!
I have to say CJ knows how to keep us hanging!

This series gets better and better
Oh my gosh. Another on the edge of your seat read. My nerves won't stand much more!!
CJ has done it again. She's wrapped me up and entangled me in this Kelly Black affair and I'm so hooked and obsessed I'm champing on the bit for the next installment. This is just torture at its best!
Kelly and Kendra continue to get mired deeper and deeper and every time I think we're finally getting somewhere, a new twist begins. I'm in for the long haul. Bring it on CJ.

Oh my, yet again another twist in this story, is Sylvia working for Blake? Will Kelly and Kendra ever get to the bottom of this, we all want them together but each time somebody has to put doubts in Kendra's head, it seem as if Madam will stop at nothing to get what she wants, or is Blake still running the show from jail? Fantastic series

WOW, WOW, WOW!! This book was the BOMB! EXPLOSIVE!! One you can't nor do you want to put it down!!! Fast paced. HOTTT And SEXY all wrapped up in one sweet little package. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

I really enjoyed the 1st and 2nd book of this series.....the 3rd not so much......and as for this one......this series really needs to come to a close! I gave 5 stars to books 1 & 2 and 4.5 for the last 2

Brilliant
Loving this series, full of scandal, drama and dark secrets. Brilliant installment and the plot keeps twisting and turning so you don't know who or what to believe. 10/10

Not too smart
The main characters of this story I think are supposed to be smart ( lawyer and escort). However, it just feels like they get played and betrayed constantly.
