What do you do when you have nothing left to lose?
Paige DeMarco is spending her honeymoon on the run from vampires with her comatose husband and a gang of misfits in tow. How can she lead the last of her pack to safety when she has troubles of her own to take care of?
Who can forget Georgia Sutherland? Apparently, the love of her life can, thanks to a kiss from an undead helper. No longer protected by the four laws, she must find a new place in the world and do anything it takes to stay alive.
Meanwhile, Gail Filipovic is getting used to the fact that vampires are real. Can she save the day, and find Georgia and Paige before time runs out?
R. E. Carr likes to split her time between the alien (well, resident alien) she married, her two adorable offspring and the vast army of characters who constantly argue in her brain. She uses her past life as a video game reviewer to remind herself just how awesome it is to be writing novels now.
Rachel writes because she knows so many people and places that never quite made it into this version of the universe. It's her duty to let them out. Writing also gives her mind a certain peace and calm rarely felt in this multi-tasking, wired world.
Carr keeps readers on their toes by delivering a heaping serving of plot twists with book 5. My head spun and I will say, I wish I had reread the previous book to remind me of where the series ended last. Once I become reacquainted with all the characters and story, I loved the book and can’t wait to see how it will all end.
Another page turner in the Rules Undying Series. RE Carr has outdone herself again. Multiple plot lines, multiple agendas, and multiple primary characters who manage to all be lovable, flawed, and realistic... even if they are vampires and werewolves.
With this installment, we bring all our characters together and continue along in our new world with vampires, werewolves, some magic, and the King Arthur legend. It's becoming more intense and complicated, but worth the effort to keep everything straight.
There's so much going on in this book. Tons of did that just happen?! moments. Everything is coming to a head and some things are explained, but you just know there's more explosive things to be revealed.
