Not enough Tank in this book with him being out of the country for most of it. This was more about Lisa, her book and gearing up to become famous with Winn Publishing. Still enjoyable, but I do want more Tank and Lisa time. Things look like they are getting stirred up for book 3.

OH MY GOSH! I just finished book 2, I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review and I am ready to give a very honest review. First off, just let me say READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is amazing and picks up right where book 1 ended. I'm typing this as my hands are shaking because I'm dying for book 3, although sad that it will be the last of Lisa and Tanks, story. Hopefully Christina will do another set of books and it be all about Blackwell, with Lisa, Tank, Alex, & Jennifer included.
Lisa and Tank's story is so great and bringing in another character that is so much like Blackwell just made me smile.
This book will end with you screaming that you need book 3 now, but don't wait, get this book now! It is amazing and so perfect. Christina knocked it out of the park once again!!!

Tank is the one

Unleash Me, Vol. 2 by Christina Ross continues the story line about Lisa and Tank that was introduced in her Annihilate Me Series. You do not need to read the Annihilate Me Series before reading this but it makes the reading of Unleash Me a much richer and fulfilling experience given that you will be very familiar with all the characters. I am so glad that I had. That being said, you DO need to read Unleash Me, Vol. 1 before reading Vol.2 since it is a continuation of the cliffhanger that is Vol. 1 and you will be lost without that.

OK, now that I got that out of the way I have to say that I LOVED this book and the cliffhanger last sentence is the only disappointing part about it since I do not think I will be able to take a deep breath again until I can read Vol. 3 which will conclude the series. I guarantee that you will fall in love with Tank and Lisa’s story.

Lisa’s rise to fame as an author has attracted a couple of crazy and dangerous people who are not as thrilled to not be a part of her success. Thankfully Lisa has Tank, a former SEAL to love and protect her, but will that prove to be enough. Jennifer and Alex along with Blackwell and Bernie from the Annihilate Me series help make this such an exciting and compelling read. I could’t put it down until I finished it and then I was jumping up and down in excitement and a bit of frustration because some of the parts of the story get resolved and other ones leave you hanging. I guess I will just have to be patient and wait eagerly for Unleash Me, Vol. 3 to see how this will all work out.

I received the book as an ARC for an honest review and I recommend it to anyone who loves romance, deep friendships, fashion, suspense and the literary world. If you do then this is the series for you.

Vol.1 and 2 of the Unleash Me series is a continuation of the first series but the emphasis is on Lisa and Tank rather than Jennifer and Alex. Also Blackwell plays a strong role in the story. I felt that both books flowed much better, the characters were more genuine and finally we get the sexy/steamy sex scenes back that were missing from books 3,4 and 5 of Annialate Me. I thought that the first two books in Unleash me were put together much better and did not end as abruptly as the vols in the first series. Again I enjoyed the inclusion of food, fashion,and publishing as a part of the story line. Continuing to enjoy the snarky humor and am continuing to laugh out loud. I am stuck on the entire series from start to finish. It ain't great lit but I am enjoying the books. Would give Vol 1 and 2 a firm 4. Kathi

I received this book as a free ARC for an honest review. I absolutely loved Unleash Me Series!! She will take you on an emotional roller coaster. The budding romance of Lisa and Tank is something we all wish we could have. Lisa career is blooming despite the ego-manic Marco Boss who is trying to destroy her and her meth head ex-boyfriend that is stalking her. How much more could one person take??? Well with the gripping ending to this book, my mind is filled with so many scenarios, I can't think straight. All I know is I want a man like Tank to do what he did for Lisa......Now that is LOVE!! If you haven't been reading THIS author...you are truly missing out...Bravo...Divooon!

I loved this book couldn't put It down. Lisa has become the IT girl and everyone quickly know who she is. After seeing her ex boyfriend in time square and then having problems with her editor Marco,Lisa feels threatened by both men. Tank takes every precaution to protect Lisa from any harm and that includes more security. After a party that honors new author's including Lisa, Tank surprises her with an announcement in front of their friends and all the people around them. On their way out of the building shots are fired outside and someone gets shot and are rushed to the hospital.

Same but different

Same but different

I begin with annihilate me and have read all the way through in a matter of days. All the books have been good. The only problem I have with the unleash me series is that some is word for word the same as the annihilate me series. Had I not read them so quickly, I probably wouldn't have noticed. I am anticipating the final book.

I received and ARC of this book. I just finished Unleash Me, Vol. 2, another awesome book by Ms. Ross! Before reading, I went back and reread the Annihilate Me series and Unleash Me, Vol. 1. I'm so glad I did. I reacquainted myself with Jennifer, Alex, Lisa, Tank, and the sublime Ms. Blackwell. I can't wait for the third Unleash Me to be released! I'm sad for it to be the end...hoping there can be additional books including all our favorite people from Annihilate Me and Unleash Me series.
