When women are empowered with money they become "difference makers." They transform not only their own lives but also those of their children, their families, and their communities at large. Women are starting their own businesses more than ever before but few women are earning six- or seven-figure salaries at the rate that men are. Author Meriflor Toneatto, an award-winning leadership and coaching executive, zeros in on why - and, more importantly, on how to change this state of affairs. With a profound understanding of the ways that money is "emotional currency" for women she prescribes Eight Holistic Principles (such as Self-Expression and Focus) that allow women to overcome deep-seated blocks, live the lives of their dreams, and "pay forward" their own successes.

I liked this book and the connection the author makes about the importance of raising women up because they directly affect the lives of those around them! This book for me is where the laws of attraction, my mothers common sense (she was a banker) and self confidence come together. I may give my copy to my daughter, if I could just get around the glue my heart conjures with every book I shelve in my personal library.
Some good tips and interesting facts and stories about women and money. Provides her theory and steps on how to we can achieve more success with money. It also gears towards the relationship we have with money from childhood. Wasn’t a bad read.
I received this book as a gift from the author when it was first published in 2018. It sat on my shelf until now as I usually only read self-help books when I can identify with the problem addressed, and I did not think I had a problem with money; I was wrong.
In this book Meriflor takes a different approach to other money books that I have read. She focuses on women's emotional relationship with money and how they can hold themselves back from attaining the life of their dreams. She includes steps to letting go of negative mindsets, deciding what purpose money serves for you, and getting yourself into alignment with what you really want. The tone is positive throughout and examples are given of real life women who have acheived success using these methods.
I liked the concepts of abundance and prosperity applying to all of life, not just the money aspect. The idea that having money does not make you any less righteous than anyone else was also helpful. There are many tips I will be using in all aspects of my life, like focus, creative visualization and imagining your "ideal scene."
Overall my favourite quote in the book is from Marianne Williamson: "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us."
Kudos to Meriflor for writing this book, getting it published and sharing her passion with those who might benefit.
For the most part, this book talks about applying the Law of Attraction to your life in regards to money. It’s all well and good, but I have to admit the author lost me when she writes that as a newly single mother without child support she ended up living in a one-bedroom in an expensive and affluent neighborhood on her single mom’s salary. The other story that caught my attention she tells the story of how she was able to secure her daughter a spot in a coveted day-care center instead of being put at the end of a waiting list, by using connections. That’s when she realized that she had the power to manifest anything she wants! No doubt, the Law of Attraction smiled on her, and not because she had advantages that someone looking for this advice does not.
It's just another run of the mill Law of Attraction book. New agey, hard to prove concepts that sound nice. If you're looking for advice on money and how to make more, look in personal finance and business books.
