There is Gavin who works hard and has issues with showing emotion. Then there is Paige, who keeps a big secret from Gavin when she goes to work for him as his temporary PA. Gavin is a very honest persona nd expects the same for the people around him. There is an attraction between the two of them that can't be pushed aside. Will they get together? Will Paige's secret be their downfall. This book has great character development and I love the story line. Looking forward to what happens next. This book had me hooked from the start. Enjoy!!

Loved it!

Paige was interesting character because of the abuse and mind-games she suffered from her parents hands. The voice which kept putting her down when she felt good about herself was a good addition imo s it showed how deeply broken she was.

Gavin was so sweet when it came to the heroine that he managed to strip her walls one by one.

He was so trusting too -I'm impatient to see the remaining of the story unfold.

It's a great plot and I can't wait for the sequel.

I found the storyline very good with deceit, secrets, good interactions and secondary characters. The H/h are opposites in strength and insecurities, openness and honesty, sometimes seemingly cold. There was good character development and while the H was likable, the h was off-putting with her excessive silent conversations with herself. With that being said and this book is mostly about the h's POV, I would speculate that the next book would be the H's POV. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

This is the first book I've read by this author and I thought it was good. I liked Gavin but found it hard to connect with Paige. She just got frustrating at times. The two characters have some baggage and trust issues. That combined with lack of communication, miscommunication, and secrets threaten these two. Will they be able to make it? This ends in a cliffhanger. I am looking forward to seeing what happens in the next book.

A Review of Gavin: Lies by Anna Antonia

Gavin and Paige - 3.5 Stars

This is a totally new to me author and this is the first book I have tried by her. This does end on a cliffhanger, so beware of that before you purchase the book. I'm not really sure what to think about Paige, so I guess I will have to wait for the next book to find out WTF is really going on and how this story ends.

Once again Anna has written a book with incredible characters. I was pulled in from the very beginning to the very end...but wait it's not over. Cliffhanger!
I'm looking forward to the beginning of theirs lives together. What will Gavin do after "I do"?

This read is filled with drama, intrigue and secrets. The story is fast-paced and Gavin and Paige are two very intriguing characters. I am looking forward finding out what happens in the next book. A good read.

I do not know what to think about it, at times I found Gavin too soft, and Paige too wining, at other times I thought it was okay.
I still do not know when I would buy book 2, I can see if he ever shows up on itunes.

Good read. Cliffhanger. Book is from Paige's pov. Here's hoping the next book is in Gavin's pov. There are pieces of Gavin that need to be filled in and would be best it given from his view. Paige is a little messed up in the head, understandable given her history. Lots of lies and secrets, twists and turns, missed cues and meanings. The next book will be one to look forward to.
