VIOLENT DELIGHTS- ARC
I loved this book. It kept me reading from beginning to end and never disappointed.
This is a book of mistaken identity, kidnapping, BDSM, Stockholm Syndrome and eventually some kind of love that works for these two.
This is a gritty and sexy book that could not be put down. I loved the rawness that was in it and the plot twists in it. This book is awesome and needs to be read. Of course, if any of these idea's bother you DON'T read this book. I personally have read a lot worse, and to me, this one is not that bad. With the chemistry these two have for each other it just works.

Linnea May has become one of my go-to authors! These books are just freaking awesome. WARNING: there are triggers of BDSM and mild kidnapping if you read this book you will understand.
Laura is a young/virgin girl that is just trying to make life better (ya we hear that a lot) she is working 3 jobs try to pay off debts from college, her mother's cancer and just trying to live day to day. When she is waitressing at a gala she is noticed by Ryan a very handsome and noticeable man.
Ryan is a self-made billionaire. He doesn't like to be in the public eye and hates galas. When he comes across Laura, someone so different then he has ever met. He wants her right away, he craves her right away, and he knows this is bad for him. He does not do this. He has a retreat once a year, where he gets a woman from an escort service and does what he needs/wants to her and then goes about his business the rest of the year. Having someone "normal" would mess that all. But he can't get over her, he has to have her.
When Laura is offered a proposition by Ryan she has no idea what she is walking into. She has an idea, of course, it is all there in writing. But when emotions (even after only 24 hrs) come up after so much sexual charge, what do you do with that.
Now that is where the story really begins. This book is HOT sexy, dirty, sad, lovely, and just wonderful. I didn't want to put this book down and thank goodness I didn't have to!

Beautifully written. As always Linnea brings her A game with this one. Two totally different people drawn to each other for one thing- submission and domination. Ann is the perfect companion for Jared. I loved these two characters and how they interacted with each other. This story is a must read and a one-clicker.

I really hated to see this series end! Though I have to say what an ending it is. I was wondering what happened to Ruby from the last book as we met her with the beautiful red jacket. So in this book that is whom we get the story from. I love her thinking and how strong she is. She goes into this "contract" with full thinking and knowledge of what might happen of course she NEVER thought she might actually get kidnapped for real. Loran has wanted the real thing for a long time. A submissive that gives everything to him, the fear, the fight, everything. But he doesn't bargain for Ruby. These two characters bring out the worst and best of each other. Such a great book!

1 – Violent Desires: An incredibly crazy, twisted and unconventional romance. Loran is tired of paying woman to ‘pretend’ to fear him as he kidnaps them for his sexual pleasure so he decides to grab a woman to ramp up his excitement. Ruby has signed on for her biggest pay day through the agency, she just has to wear her red fur coat and wear a mask each evening and wait to be taken. When a woman steals her coat from the bar, she goes out to look for her and she meets Loran who offers to help. What she doesn’t realize is her world is going to shift as Loran takes her to his home as his sexual slave. This is very unique since Loran has no idea Ruby expected to be kidnapped. But Loran wants her real fear to fuel his desires. It was interesting to see how this mistaken situation played out for these two.
2 - Violent Cravings: What an intense and sexy story. Ryan is a self-made billionaire, confident, sexy and oh so charming. He has a problem where he lets things take over his life and sex is usually one of them, where he forgets everything to fulfill that craving. He built a system that allows him to scratch that itch once a year which helps him keep this under control. When he sees Laura at an event his company sponsors, he finds himself captivated. He needs her to be his next toy. Laura is unexpected. She is a beautiful tall woman but carries herself in a way that shows she isn’t confident. When Ryan pursues her, she’s flattered but skeptical. Given the bills she needs to pay, he makes an offer she can’t refuse and her body really doesn’t want her to. As these two embark on this crazy, sexy journey of submission, will they find more than what they bargained for? Will one day be enough?
3 – Violent Hearts: Another wildly erotic ride from Linnea May. Jared doesn’t have time for relationships, hardening his heart after being betrayed, so he uses Violent Delights to contract with woman to feed his dark desires. Must Read
Violent Delights
Joseph makes the mistake of kidnapping the wrong woman or did he? Liana always had dark fantasy's and was told how crazy she was by her ex. But being kidnapped Liana will have all her fantasy come true. As the days go on Liana & her master grow closer together until her master Joseph learns he made a horrible mistake. I liked reading Liana & Joseph's story and seeing how they grew closer together each day. Read story with great characters.
Violent Cravings
Once you start reading you will be hooked reading about Ryan & Laura. Ryan has an obsession that haunts him and he has learned to crave it but seeing Laura changes everything. Laura brings out a different side of Ryan and that frightens him. Time passes and they both haven't forgotten each other and Ryan does something he had never done before, he will claim Laura. Dark read that will have you reading non stop.

Amazing read that will have you hooked from the beginning. Jared only has a submissive and when he goes to Violent Delights he meets Ann and he mistakes her as a escort. Ann is a reporter and her assignment is to do an article on Violent Delights and of course she is curious and decides to see how the process goes, little did she know that she was going to get picked by Jared King. Jared has trust issues but can't seem to get Ann out of his head. What started as a business deal could end up being something neither one of them ever expected. Jared and Ann have both had past experiences that they like to forget but together maybe they can learn to trust and to actually give love a chance. Great story with amazing characters that had me glued from the start. Love Ann & Jared together and there sex was smokin hot. Another amazing read.

Ruby thinks that he is her client she was suppose too meet until things don't add up and Ruby must try to escape, but being together Ruby & Loran start to feel like they don't want what they have too end. Great story if you like a twisted love story and really like Ruby & Loran together.

This gives a little taste of the upcoming book series The Velvet Rooms. I can’t wait to read of Elene & Damon.

The VIOLENT series was amazing - darkly decadent from first to last!
Violent Delights - A case of mistaken identity lands Liana under Joseph's control. This starts out dark, with a Master and pet sexual relationship, but it becomes something more between these two. It was dark and illicit at first, but I enjoyed how things panned out in the end. I enjoy a good dark romance, and this is the first in a series that promises to be delicious and decadent!
Violent Cravings - Ryan is a successful investor who has very unusual sexual inclinations. He lives by strict rules to keep his desires under control, but when he sees Laura serving drinks at an event, he is absolutely taken with her. She evokes strong feelings of desire in him that make him want to break every single rule he has. Theirs is a dark, sensually erotic journey together, and it's not without complications and challenges. Violent Cravings hints at what you will find when you take a glimpse into Ryan's world as he introduces his style of BDSM to Laura, willing or unwillingly. It's not for the faint of heart, but if you like your romance dark and erotically charged, you will love this one! It sucked me right in, and I couldn't put it down.
Violent Hearts - Jared needs a woman on his arm, and he's willing to pay the right one. Ann needs the money, full stop, and she's willing to play the part. But what happens when their hearts get in the way of their arrangement? Great addition to the Violent series, and I loved seeing how Jared changed his ways!

Violent Cravings
Definitely not for the faint of heart. Heed the authors warnings when she says the book contains scenes and subject matter that may be difficult to read. This is a very dark romance with some themes that aren't "nice" at all. I'm sitting here looking at the blinking cursor and realizing I haven't quite recovered from the book yet. I'm wondering how do I put into words what I just went through and make it more meaningful than "it was good" or "it was hot". I think I'm having such a hard time because there are some themes in here that are not altogether comfortable. What pushed me to places I don't want to face was the depth of Laura's submission and acceptance. I'm still not completely comfortable with the "kidnap" and "kept" aspects of this relationship but the chemistry between the pair is compelling. So to the squeamish out there, take this as my warning.

I read books 2-4 in this series when they were firstreleased individually and absolutely loved each one of them. My original review for each book is below. I can't wait to go back and read the first book!
Violent Cravings:
Whew, boy! This one is hot!! Ryan is a young, dominant, and completely alpha male. He has dark cravings that he only indulges in once a year. Laura is a waitress with some sass who is just trying to make ends meet. Ryan propositions her for 24 hours. As long as she follows his rules, she will walk away a rich woman afterward. This story was well written with some twists thrown it. This is a dark romance, so if you're not a fan of that genre, you may want to pass on this. Whew, boy! This one is hot!! Ryan is a young, dominant, and completely alpha male. He has dark cravings that he only indulges in once a year. Laura is a waitress with some sass who is just trying to make ends meet. Ryan propositions her for 24 hours. As long as she follows his rules, she will walk away a rich woman afterward. A wonderful collection of dark and intense stories!
Violent Delights: A wonderful dark and intense read. Great story and very well written. Hot and steamy sex scenes with BDSM. Two troubled souls come together and it's spectacular!
Violent Cravings: Love this book. This story is a very dark romance and has some parts that may be difficult for some readers. It's very well written and developed with complex and interesting characters. Laura and Ryan have a strong connection and are explosive together. If you enjoy dark romance and BDSM scenes, this is the book for you.

A great collections of dark romances.
Violent Delights
Wow this book just captivated me from the start to the end. Liana and Joseph were made for each other. This book made you think if you would accept your deepest darkest desires if they were presented to you with out knowing in advance your deepest darkest desires would be fulfilled.
Violent Cravings
Ryan has dark cravings that he only satisfies once a year but when he meets Laura all his rules fly out the window and he becomes trapped with his feelings. This book is amazing and keeps you reading to find out what happens next.
Violent Hearts
An intense read that leaves you feeling a compassion for Jared and Ann. I felt like I was standing on the sidelines watching their story unfold.

A dark romance read that will leave you falling in love with Ruby and Loran. I absolutely love this book. It was great reading what happened to Ruby.

I have voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC version of The Violent Series by Linnea May.
I didnt HAVE to read this entire series over again, because I have read and re-read each title at least twice, but I did anyway. Thats how much I loved the stories, the characters and Linnea May's writing. If you like to dabble in the dark or just fantasize a little bit, this is the series for you. A great idea for a cold winters week. Because this series will for sure make you HOT. I highly recommend. Happy reading!

Deliciously Sinful Dark Romance. This is my honest review of an ARC I received from the author. After reading this fantastic dark romance series by this perfectly brilliant author I will be reading many more of her deliciously dark romances. The stories are really intriguing and a series that keeps you wanting to read to the end, not knowing if the intrigue will turn sour or not. Nevertheless it was a really well written perfect flowing series with BDSM elements. This series is my idea of a perfect read and I would highly recommend it as a must read. Well done Linnea on a fabulous Series.

I have already read and reviewed the 1st two books in this series so I only read the last two. The stories flowed nicely and I was captivated from the first to last chapters. Everyone of these books are dramatic, passionate and extremely steamy. I strongly suggest you give this hot BDSM series a try. “The Violent Series” is definitely worth reading.

Love this Author
The Violent Series is one of the best I have read. Some of the stories are a little dark but I don’t think it is anything you can’t handle. The endings are sooo good but you are not sure how they will end. I hope HEA, but if I told you, then that would spoil it now wouldn’t it. A must read series that you will enjoy.

Every book in this series is very well written. Every storyline is unconventional and dark, thrilling and intense, and fast moving. All characters are well developed and convincing.
