Jason Petersen shares how he was able to obtain a net worth that is more than ten times the average of his peers. In this book, he teaches you how to build wealth for yourself so that you can build wealth for the kingdom of God so that your financial interests do not conflict with your faith interests. This book gives a Christian perspective on investing, managing money, stewardship and personal finance. He also gives advice to the reader and talks about some of the mistakes he made so that the reader could avoid them. Jason also defends Dave Ramsey's baby steps from critics. Jason will teach you how to get out of debt, protect your family's assets, and build wealth. If you follow the plan that Jason gives in his book, you will build wealth. The advice Jason gives is based on the Bible. This book has been commended to its attention to detail while also being simple and easy to implement.
This is a solid, short book on getting control of your finances and making your money serve you, rather than you serve your money. The advice is easy to understand and simple to implement. The only thing I would add to this book is to not stop with this, but to keep reading more after this. Dave Ramsey (as you will learn in this book) is a great next step.
