Frankie Love writes filthy-sweet stories about bad boys and mountain men. As a thirty-something mom to six who is ridiculously in love with her own bearded hottie, she believes in love-at-first-sight and happily-ever-afters. She also believes in the power of a quickie.
❤️ Get ready to fall in love ... you deserve it! ❤️
Chiseled: The Mountain Man’s Babies is book seven in The Mountain Man’s Babies series by Frankie Love. This is another sweet installment to this series that is overflowing with babies. You just have to wonder at the effect all that mountain air is having on these sexy mountain men!
Bear Sutton and his sister Virginia were taken in as kids by the Badland MC thinking it was their salvation. Only as they grew up, they realized just how bad the situation was. When Virginia’s safety was at stake, they escaped to the mountains to hide. They rented a small cabin and Bear spent his days wandering the trails of the woods which is how he came upon the beautiful woman who almost made him think she was some kind of woodland fairy.
Grace had escaped her own awful childhood to find a better life on this magical mountain. She has watched her friends find love and have babies and she wants that happiness for herself. She has seen the mountain man who looks like a grizzly bear watching her for weeks but he never approaches her. Slowly, from afar, she had fallen in love with the man who was still a stranger. So when he finally did speak to her, she already knew she wanted him to be hers.
“She is the salvation I need. Her presence alone cleanses me of all my sin.”
On one of his hikes, Bear comes upon a scene on the highway that changes everything. The only person he knows to go to who will know what to do is Grace.
“I can’t go back to the past. Not when I finally, for the first time in my life, see a future.”
This is another sweet, sexy story of two people that find the healing they needed on that mountain. And they also found each other. Grace has watched her friends one by one find their happily ever afters. Now it’s her turn and she’s not letting him go.
“Grace, how did I get here?” “I think you took a few wrong turns and somehow found your way.” “To you.” She nods. “To me.”
The first book in this series was funny and packed with a lot of cheesy sex. The books have progressively gotten less funny and less sexy.
Bear (hiding from a biker gang along with his sister) watches a pretty woman every day as she gardens and sings. Eventually, he goes to talk to her. Grace (escaped religious cult) knows there's a Bear watching her, and they eventually talk - where of course they remove all of their clothes and he takes her virginity. I seriously don't understand why getting laid IRL can't be this easy.
After they bump uglies, Bear tells her they can't be together and he just leaves her. Then he's just casually walking around town and spies a couple arguing, who then take their two infants out of the car and leave them on the side of the road. Bear rescues the babies, takes them to Grace, yada yada, more yada yada, they adopt the babies, then more yada yada - HEA.
There's not much else to add. It's boring and not sexy at all.
I can't even tell you how excited I am to be back on the mountain, with the billions of babies, the insane love stories, and where everyone is looking for a fresh start. There's no place like it, not even in book world.
Grace and Bear have a pretty epic and explosive first meeting, and a lot of unbelievable events follow! So much action and so much heart in this story. I love watching them find their family in each other and how all the other couples pull in to help. The ending was fantastic. The Afterword by the author brought a tear to my eye.
Frankie could write a billion more books in this vein and I would greedily gobble them up!
I absolutely loved this story. It was so dang sweet but still had some action/suspense to it. Loves the characters as well plus the added bonus of all the characters from the previous book. Ending was so stinking cute too.
Stupid Goodreads app… THAT’S why some books aren’t showing up as read when I KNOW I’ve read them. Goodreads is just switching my rating to “want to read” 😡.
Anyway, rant aside, I know I read this one a couple weeks ago and liked it.
Ahhh, Yes! Frankie Love takes us back to the Mountains where the land ( amongst everything else ) is fertile; the trees continuously sway from the brute alpha bearded men's dominant, swoon-worthy auras whirling around them and the ones they love. This mountain seems to grab them and never let's go. But let's face it, would you want to leave? This high heat, waste no time on pleasantries story revolves around Grace, having lived a nightmare of life so far, finding peace in the mountains has been great. But loneliness comes along with the " perfect " set up she has. That is until a stranger moves onto the mountain. The " Grizzly " but handsome man is intrigued by her when the two finally meet- let the hot times begin! ( No, lie ) This man, Bear, has secrets needed to be kept- but the insta- all connection the two of them share- puts him in a doubly comprising predicament! He wants to throw caution to the wind, say forget it all for his fairytale maiden in the forest, but is the reality of it all too much to bare? Seriously, I could read these, stories all day! I know, they're insta love, and light on the reality, i love that about them! Heartwarming, all alpha male, sexiness galore stories- that give me mini vaca from whatever is coming my way. I can always use more of that! I walked away feeling much better than when I started. That to me means this fast-moving burst of awe and yummy was more than worth it! 5 beautiful thank you stars from me!
This book is double the pleasure. Not only is Bear a mountain man he is also a biker. Well ex-biker and new mountain man, but still... Grace is a survivor of the cult and lives on the mountain in her own cabin. The two meet in the woods, chemistry abounds and they share a steamy sexual connection. Bear fights his feelings thinking he needs to protect Grace from his past as well as feeling she deserves better than him, so he leaves her in the woods. Fate brings them together again when Bear witnesses a man and a woman arguing while he was hiking the woods. The couple bolt when he yells out to them and to his horror, discovers they leave their newborn twins in the parking lot when they drove away. Bear takes the babies to Grace and leaves abruptly again. Can they find their way together and live happily with the twins or will his past and the fact he is hiding his sister cause them to go separate ways? Frankie Love writes great stories and I'm anxious to read the next in the series. I borrowed this book from Kindle Unlimited.
Frankie Love has absolutely done it again with this book! This is another awesome addition to The Mountain Man's Babies series. This book is absolute perfection.
I loved every minute of this book with it's love, some sadness thrown in and a little mystery. I cried through parts knowing and understanding the heartache of a child without birth parents but also grieving for the death of two people that were chasing happiness but left it on the side of the road.
Grace is the perfect mountain woman and Bear knew he had found perfection but had secrets that kept him from truly opening up. He had found his BOOM but had to figure out how to keep it.
As this story comes to it's HEA Grace and Bear become a complete family with Abel and Laura but also have a surprise for all their friends.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary ARC of this book and if you love Mountain Men and Babies you need to snag yourself a copy.
The mountain man is back! Grace finally left the cult and she's ready to do everything she couldn't before like find her own mountain man. She sees her friends around having babies and having a man and that's what she wants too. Bear (yes that's his real name) escaped with his sister from some bad guys so he's constantly looking over his shoulder.Everday he takes a walk and sees grace but never talks to her, finally one day he takes a chance and talks but things get HEATED. Shocked he leaves because he thinks she deserves better. Soon after Bear finds two little something and takes them to the perfect person to take care of them. It's not all flowers on this mountain a bunch of drama when the bad guys arrive bu Bear refuses to let their love go and fights for it. I just love the over the top romance.
*I received this book in exchange for my honest opinion*
This story is short, fast paced and sweet. I read this book in one sitting and was left wanting more. I really like Grace and Bear. The chemistry between them is clear to see. There were a handful of times that I wanted to shout at Bear to stop pushing Grace away and claim his woman. That being said, I understood his reasons why. I loved that even though Bear was in hiding, he still got the babies to safety. He knew that Grace would care for them. I liked that he helped the police and risked his and his sister’s safety by speaking out. I loved how quickly Grace fell in love with the babies. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is a sweet read. I seriously hope that Virginia and Leila get their stories told.
I listened and read this beautiful book in one day. I believe this is the second book I’ve read of Frankie Love and I was not disappointed at all. I do really appreciate a mountain man who will do anything for his leading lady. Frankie has a way with words that just grab my attention from the very first paragraph. This is a quick read, but it packs a punch really quickly. I cannot wait to read more books from Frankie because she knows how to make me swoon over her burly mountain men. If you like books about burly mountain men who fall first, you need to get this book today.
One beautiful mountain filled with hot men and fairytale love. Bear is running from his motorcycle club past and When he sees Grace across the forest in her meadow he instantly falls in love he knows he should stay away from her. When he comes across two babies left on the side of the road the first person he turns to for help is Grace. The sparks fly and Bear is all in, but when his past comes to the mountain will this be the end or a new beginning for the little family? Frankie Love has a way of pulling the reader into her mountain world where anything, even fairytale love, comes true.
Bear and Grace are the newest couple on the mountain. Frankie Love has given us two more characters who couldn’t be more different but are looking for the same thing…a family of their own.
I loved how Bear turns into a pile of gooey feelings when it comes to Grace and babies. Grace has come a long way from her former life. I admire her for becoming her own person and for being able to forgive and love so freely.
Side note -- Could we have just met Jonah’s forever love in this book…ahem…Virginia???
Another great story! Grace and Bear find each along with two other newborns and give each other a second chance at life.
This is one of my favorite series that I started reading and got hooked. I'm not a reader but this series an few others got me reading. They are fun and super sexy as fantasy can go, but at the same time they tell a story of men and women that have their share of heartbreak and at the end it leaves you with a better morale. The only thing I'm not a big fan is having too many babies specially at once that really takes the fantasy away.
Very much enjoyed this quick read. I have read the whole series and love to check in & see how the others are doing as well as get a new chapter of another couples lives.
Grace & Bear had a rocky start, as most of the couples on the mountain do, but eventually found their way through the twists & turns.
Hopefully, there will be another installment (maybe Jonah) soon.
A few minor editing misses but nothing that was a major detraction from the story as a whole.
Another over the top one, but very sweet too. I was surprised by how forward Grace was during her actual meeting with Bear, go Grace! I hated how Bear saw himself, but it made sense with his background. The funny thing was that on the mountain, anytime he could he did the right thing, the good thing, as shown by what he brought Grace and how he let her friends surround her. I loved the HEA this couple got, it was perfect in so many ways!
This has to be one of my most favourite series each story is different has so much meaning and some drama. In this book we get Grace story and the wonderful man Bear.
These two are so sweet together you know they belong to one another, I loved the curveball that the author snuck in and the ending was genius.
I'm looking forward to seeing Jonah Virginia and Layla stories. May this series carry on forever.
I'm so glad Grace found her mountain man, Bear. They make such a great couple. Bear and his sister needed to get away from where they used to live. Grace had her home all set up in the woods. Two beautiful babies left on the side of the road, brings them to Grace. Through a lot of strife and struggles they learn together what their lives will be. It's a beautiful story, recommend reading. Written by Cindy :)
I have submitted this review after listening to the audiobook of this title. (Goodfm)
He was hiding his sister with him in the mountains, from a biker gang, who were out for revenge, for her sister having shot their leader, when he wouldn't take no for an answer. It's the last place he thought he would find the woman of his dreams, but when Grace comes into his life, both their lives was changed. Oh, these adorable twin babies, just to add to the confusion.
Chiseled Yep, Miracle Mountain is my favorite place to go !!!!!!!! Frankie Love takes this bearded mountain man, Bear, to a whole new level, leaving me to, again, have to read through my tears. Gracie and Bear, each with their own burdens of their pasts, find a fairytale they both more than deserve. This story will definitely tug at your heart strings.
Another great Mountain Man's Babies book. A quick read while waiting to pick up the kids from school and daycare. Bear fits in perfect with the other men. Plus he brought a couple more ladies with him to the mountain. Grace couldn't have found a better man to raise a family with. They fit each other perfectly.
Every time I read a new one I have to go back and read the ones that came before!
Chiseled:The Mountain Man's Babies is a sweet novella that will touch your heart. Bear and Grace are perfect together. A sublime addition to the mountain man series. Sexy bits, twists, secrets, & unexpected surpriss all rolled into one unforgettable read. Looking forward to reading the next novella in this series.
As a mountain man, Bear deserves 4.5 stars. He's not a natural outdoorsman, necessarily, but he's rugged, for sure. At the same time, the roughness conceals a core of gold, as befits Gracie as one of the mountain's, own. The steamy scenes felt almost-restrained, but still maintained a decent, peppery, spice.
3 1/2* Grace is still alone in the mountains after escaping the cult & following her friends cherish & Jonah to the mountains. Bear & his sister have escaped the mc club after an incident causwd them to hide out. Little do they know how their lives will collide when he finds something & desperately needs her help. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Lovely story
I give this book 5 stars. The storyline between Grace and Bear was well written. Frankie Love did it again you will love this book. I whole heartedly recommend this book. Grace ran away from the compound and Bear is running away from a bike gang him and his sister were in. I voluntarily reviewed this Advanced Readers Copy of this book.
Chiseled is another great read by Frankie Love. Bear and Grace both escaped from lives they hated and found peace in the mountains. Now they just have a few obstacles to overcome before they find their HEA. This romance is hot, sweet, and heartwarming.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
I am a Big Fan of Frankie Love Mountain Men. Every Mountain Men are Strong, Alpha, Possessive, Wild and can do anything for their Ladies. Chiseled is another Stunning Installment from the very talented Author.
I Could not stop reading it and Devoured it in One Sitting. I Highly Recommend all Readers to Read this Book right now.
Frankie Love is a recent discovery for me, I discovered her thru a series she did with a few other authors. I was immediately in love with her writing style and her over the top happily ever afters and her alpha male characters. I've started reading everything written by her. This series was my first whole series by her and i couldn't put the books down.
I mean...I'm pretty sure I'm coming to the end of this series, at least what has been published so far. But I am no way ready to stop 8 books in !was than 2 days. That's a new record even for me. Best and Grace's story was sweet, hot and romantic just like the rest. I ma so excited to see what will come next. Happy reading! Rating 5 stars
Bear was fed up with the bike gang. He knew he had to get out. His sister was mistreated, and shot the guy who hurt her. He headed to the mountains. There he met Grace. He watched her for a few days and fell in love with her way of quietness with nature. He fell in love with her. The gang was looking for Bear and his sister…
