Rate this book

Do you believe that your inner guidance has superior knowledge and wisdom to guide you to the fulfillment of your desires?

Are you repeating undesired patterns in your career, love, health, money or in your quest for self-knowledge?

From a lifetime of meditating, teaching, traveling, and learning, author and podcaster, Omar M. Makram states that trusting our Innate Guide is the missing ingredient that can create the life we have dreamed of.

He encourages you to let go of the confusing chatter that leads to your unfulfilled potential.

You may have read all the self-help books, tried the Law of Attraction and followed various disciplines for success, yet you still feel stuck doing the same things and expecting different results.

What if your inner being is urging you to start listening from within?

In this Truth-revealing book, Transcending The Maya Matrix, he uncovers the sacred laws called the Seven Simple Steps.

You will learn:

1.     The illusion of reality

2.     Reclaiming your power from that illusion

3.     Befriending your true self and life

4.     Opening the door to joy and abundance

5.     Allowing joy and abundance to guide you

6.     Realize that you ARE that joy and abundance.

This book has illustrations, examples and downloadable journaling exercises.

This is a short read that is well organized and well thought through. While the author admits the ideas are not new he hopes to present them in a way that is easily accessible. I think he’s done a great job. It certainly flows and makes sense. He has a delightful and effective delivery. The narrative and tone speak in loving gentleness. If spirituality and personal development type books are your thing I think you will be well pleased with this one

As the author stated, the book doesn't contain new information and it comes down to whether the reader connects with the material. I didn't connect with this book as well as I have others with the same kind of subject matter. The content was fine. I just didn't feel the book flowed well and felt it was a jarring read. There is quite a lot of unnecessary repetition and seeing 'the seven simple steps' in bold throughout the text constantly was rather off-putting. Some editing would be beneficial. Even if it shortened the book it would strengthen the important message the author is wishing to convey.

Could not finish

The concept was great. Loved the main idea that we have forgotten our reSource. The writing was bogged down and all over the place. The author has a lot of deep random thoughts with no order to them. The premise of the subject matter is to listen and trust ones own voice yet the author is a name dropper for his cause. I couldn't spend any more time trying to get into it.

Enjoyable Read

I rate this book 5 stars, it was an enjoyable read, and I highly recommend anyone who is on a spiritual path to read it. It is very helpful in understanding how to transcend the maya matrix, giving you each step in a precise and thorough manner. Omar M. Makram has a very gentle and fluid writing style, I was almost in a state of hypnosis as I was reading the book. Once again this is an enjoyable read for anyone on a spiritual path/journey of enlightenment!

Living on the Level of the Soul

This book gives a very comprehensive understanding of transforming your life on the Soul level. I have been reading Spiritual books all of my life and when I read The Maya Matrix it made sense on a deeper level and all of the books I have read are now magnified and are more powerful in the significance and awesomeness. Than you! I highly recommend this book as a valuable part of spiritual transformation and growth.

Not easy to follow

I was lost and could not focus. In each of the seven steps the author through different information which makes it hard to understand the step itself. There are mix of information from different books which confused me. In my opinion the author needed to simplify and focus on the steps instead of referring to other books and authors.

Common Sense

Ideas seem simple. It appears that constant reference to seeking the next level will be the eureka moment. It never seems to majically reveal itself in my opinion. Rather a light treatment of what should be a very deep venture. Author Incendiary Creek.

Interesting

A Bit choppy in writing style and perhaps somewhat complicated in a teaching sense but worthwhile into its conclusions. Be here now.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
I love that this book is open, not imposing and makes you think deeper and most importantly, makes you realize your power as a being on this planet. It talks about many vital things that a human being should know such as: soul, consciousness, and reality just to name a few. I have read many similar books pertaining to this stuff and I must say that this is the summary of all those excellent books that I have read. It is a must to have this book. Be awakened, be conscious, buy this book!
