This is such a great collection of stories with an Easter theme. They were all amazing and creatively written and each one unique. I'm so blown away by the talent among these pages. I can't wait to read their individual works. Fans of paranormal will want to check out these stories and discover some treasure for themselves. So much fun. You'll love them!

I rarely read anthologies, but I decided to give this one a try since I am a fan of several of the authors. The writing styles vary quite a bit, but it is a good sampler of 14 different authors.

Bad Egg by Tiffany Carby - A young woman is on the run from her controlling boyfriend. She ends up in a small town and meets a gorgeous and mysterious man and begins to fall in love.
I thought this was an excellent start to the series. I really enjoyed the writing style of this author. The storyline was interesting, and I felt like the main characters were easy to relate to and care about. The small town she ended up in had a very charming feel to it, and I am eager to read more about these characters!

Honey and the Easter Bear by Kathia Iblis - Honey is on a camping trip with her friend in the wilds of Alaska. She falls down a hill and comes face to face with a bear. He takes her back to his lair and there is an instant, steamy attraction. Unbeknownst to Honey, she has landed herself in the middle of a shifter feud.
I don't often read about shifters, but I do find the subject truly fascinating. I did feel like this story was a little rushed. The main characters seemed to get to the steamy stuff a little too fast, and I was confused on a few aspects of the story. I loved the setting though!

Allergic Reaction by T.A. Moorman - Miranda is bringing her boyfriend home to meet her parents. Her father starts sneezing immediately, and everyone keeps making cat jokes. Miranda is confused until her boyfriend shifts right in front of her, and much is revealed...
I truly enjoyed this story. I loved the fact that the main female character isn't (as she describes) "a skinny Minnie." She and her boyfriend just have a great relationship and really love each other even though they are quite different from one another. I thought the paranormal aspect of this story was very interesting (and not typical).

Unleashing the Rock by Lorah Jaiyn - Pryce works and lives at a foster home. Her gargoyle companion on the roof of her apartment one day comes to life and tells her that his name is Guidry and he is a demon who has been cursed to be entombed in the gargoyle. Pryce tries not to fall in love, and Guidry tries to keep his pants on...
I loved this one because I know almost nothing about gargoyle mythology. The characters had great chemistry, and this was a fun story to read :-)

Stained Glass Heart by Brandy McIntosh - Ashlyn, who lives alone in her old house, one day sees something startling in her backyard: a dragon. The dragon is even more startled that SHE can see HIM. Ashlyn has lived alone as a sort of freak/outcast because she can see paranormal creatures. It's all in their eyes. The dragon tells her that he is carrying a very special egg and he is wounded. He needs to transition into human form to heal before continuing on his way to Brazil to deliver the egg. Over the next few days, Ashlyn and Vichter fall in love, but he will have to leave her soon...
This was another story that was just pretty. The author does a good job of describing the scenes. It is easy to visualize and experience the story. Ashyln and Vichter are both delightful characters, and I loved how the story resolved. <3

Trail Binding by T. Elizabeth Guthrie - Frankie is on a hiking trip when she comes across a mysterious stone circle. Upon entering it, she begins to feel strange and soon ends up in an unfamiliar place. When she is kidnapped and taken to a castle, she meets a man she has been seeing in her dreams. He tells her that they are meant to be together. Their attraction is instantaneous, but his people are at war. Can they perform the marriage ceremony in time to save everyone?
I really really enjoyed this story for a variety of reasons. For one, Frankie mentions that she is a size 16. I guess I am so used to very thin protagonists that it surprised me how much this addition to the story delighted me. She was a very strong, beautiful, and intelligent person, and the troll king loved her deeply. I also loved the "steamy" scene in this story I think the most of any of the stories. It was HOT. :-) This story was very "rich" in fantasy, and most of it takes place away from the modern world. It really whetted my appetite for fantasy.

Nature of Magic by J. C. Madison - Selene is a mute young woman living on her own in the town of Red River. She allows her art to consume her until one day she stays out in the heat just a little too long and has to be rescued by a dark-haired man named Kyler. Kyler and his two triplet brothers are witches. Kyler and Selene spend more time together and learn about their tragic pasts. When Selene is introduced into Kyler's supernatural world, things go awry. Will Selene ever speak again? Will she and Kyler get their happily ever after?
This story earns the place as my favorite in the anthology for a variety of reasons. I found Selene and Kyler to be lovely characters. I'm currently obsessed with witches, and I would eagerly read any expansion or continuation of this story or anything else the author publishes. It was just a wonderful and exciting story. :-) <3

Spring Awakening by Natalie-Nicole Bates - Micki lives alone in a little house in a graveyard. One day after a storm, she notices that one of the tombs has been broken open. She is surprised to find a woman, who appears to be starving and on death's door, inside. When she brings her home to get her cleaned up and fed, she finds out that Catherina is not a normal human.
I would just like to say first and foremost that this story is absolutely beautiful. I was totally riveted from the very first page. I love this author's writing style. I kept thinking throughout that I just had to check out more of the author's books. I loved every single thing about this story--the setting, the characters, the intrigue, and the sweet romance. I was thinking as I was reading that there were no LGBT stories, so this story helps to balance/round out the anthology a little.
LOVED it! <3

No Arrows Needed by Skylar McKinzie - Tara is a girl in need of romance! Her witch friend, Tabby, contacts an old friend...who happens to be Cupid. He agrees to strike Tara with love's arrow, but ends up not doing so. He and Tara have an instant attraction to one another. He has to decide if he should reveal himself to her and risk losing his wings...
Although this story was short, it had a lot of interesting and unique paranormal elements. I have never read a story about Cupid, and there is just something very fascinating (and potentially humorous) about him. I love that Tabby is a witch (as I said before, I am currently a bit obsessed with witches, and Skylar McKinzie writes them very well!)

Of Opals and Dragons Eggs by Amanda Ruehle - Grant is a college student who is somewhat of a loner. After a disastrous party where he gets drunk, he stumbles into (rather falls into) a ditch where he discovers what appears to be a very large opal. He gets bitten by what seems to be a glowing insect of some sort and heads home to get some sleep. When he comes back, he discovers that the opal is in fact not an opal, but a dragon's egg. The "insect" is no insect and is in fact a fairy named Moonlily. As he spends time with Moonlily, he learns more about her world and the two become close friends. But the egg will soon hatch and Moonlily will have to go away...
I really liked that we got to see a male main character in this story. I found Grant to be a very likable character, and the story was sweet, interesting, and well-written. It's definitely one of my favorites in the anthology. I especially liked the first half (when they were in the process of falling in love.) This story was edited well, and that is always a big plus!

Sent to Me by Rena Marin - Harley is running a bed and breakfast in the mountains when one night a beautiful man shows up at her doorstep - he has been beaten badly. She learns that he is a guardian angel sent to help her. She tries to fight her attraction to him, but it becomes more and more difficult as the days pass...
I enjoy Rena's writing, and I loved the setting of this story so much. She painted a great picture in this story, and the romance was very sweet. It was not hot and heavy right off the bat, and the character interactions seemed realistic. In a short span, the story covered romance, heartbreak, and action.

The Bunny and His Flower by C. Brady - Adelaide discovers a rabbit caught in a trap one day while out in the forest. She brings him home with her to tend to his broken leg and is surprised with how intelligent he seems. She keeps him with her for a few weeks, and all the while she tells her best friend Dylan (whom she is secretly in love with) that he needs to come see this rabbit. Only, the rabbit never seems to be around when Dylan is... And meanwhile, she has to deal with an aggressive would-be suitor, Peregrine.
This story was very sweet, and I really loved the setting. It seemed to be set sometime in the past, when things were simpler. Adelaide walks to town to shop amongst the booths, and Dylan sells flowers. Their love is so wonderful, and the story had lots of great moments and twists and turns. It was very enjoyable!

The Spirit of Little Feather by Judy Swinson - Maria goes on a camping trip with her church youth group. As they are learning more about the history of the Native Americans, she begins to feel a strange pull. She feels a breeze on her face and hears drums that no one else does. She has always wondered about her family, because she was adopted as a baby. When she turns eighteen, her parents finally tell her about her heritage.
This story is a quick read and has some really interesting facts about Native American history in Florida. Like Maria mentions several times in the story, most people tend to think of Native Americans in other parts of the US, so I found that aspect of the story very interesting! This story is lighter on the paranormal aspect and focuses more on self-discovery.

Upwards Over the Mountain by Alison Diem - Hemery helps his best friend, Elliot, and Elliot's mom escape from an abusive situation. Many things happen all in one night. Hemery learns that his best friend (who he secretly is in love with) is a selkie and has to deal with losing him. A murder happens, and Elliot and his mother disappear for many years. Will they ever see each other again?
I'll admit, this is the first gay romance I have ever read. I really do think the story was written well.
I also have never read anything about selkies apart from the one discussion of them in book 3 of the Outlander series. That was such a cool thing to have in this anthology! This was a great ending to this collection of paranormal stories!

There were several things that I thought tied this anthology together well. It seems like the heroines are generally socially introverted or have tragic pasts of some sort that make them lonely or friendless. Then a supernatural man comes in and sweeps them off their feet. Another commonality is the instant and intense sexual attraction that takes place between the characters. In some cases, it really feels too fast, but I do understand that with paranormal beings, there are some other forces at work like persuasion. I'm not bothered by the sex scenes, although I did feel like in some cases they could have been left out. There were times I had a hard time feeling what I was supposed to feel about the main characters because everything happened very quickly. The editing of many of the stories did need a bit of work, but I do try to judge stories on their content and how they make me feel rather than editing errors (although that is an important thing to consider).
Overall, this is a good sampler of work from a variety of authors, the themes of which tie together surprisingly well.

While the book started off a little slow with either stories that really needed editing or a storyline I didn't like, it started to quickly pick up. If I had any recommendations it would be to have some of the stories vetted through an editor and some of the names in the stories changed. I understand it's fun naming characters, but trying to read tricky/complicated names can slow down the pace of reading. I absolutely loved Stained-Glass Heart and the momentum carried from there. Nature of Magic was from new author J.C. Madison, and I was absolutely blown away that this was her first published piece. A Paranormal Easter is a good collection ranging from Young Adult and up, with sweet, erotic, and fun paranormal elements. There were HEA's and friends to lovers tropes included. Overall it was a good book showcasing various author's writing styles just in time for the Easter holiday.

A Paranormal Easter is a collection of books centered around Easter or Fertility being represented by Eggs. Each book is unique and tells the tale of a different pagan holiday about fertility and how eggs play a role in the fertility of each religion. There are dragons, bunnies, breasts, wolves, gargoyles and humans. Some of the stories are a little racy and rather hot. Then others are sweet and heartfelt. One things for sure you will be drawn into each story and be grateful you read it. I must say is one of the best holiday anthologies I've read. I sincerely hope these authors decide to join up and write a Christmas anthology. I can only imagine the gifts they cold come up with for the ones that find true love for Christmas or even Valentines.... I can come up with ask kinds of mischief for Cupid to get then into. I received an ARC from the publisher. This is my voluntary honest review.

For a short read this story was breathtaking!

I had been wanting to read, Allergic Reaction by T.A. Moorman for a while but never got a chance to...WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG!

This story was so ridiculously good! And complete, I didn’t feel like it was rushed because it was a short story. You have so many elements in this story, shifters, magic, fairies and they all mesh so well and have a wonderful story.

I felt for Miranda, can you imagine finding out everything you knew or thought you knew was basically a lie. I loved the parents and the sarcasm between all of them.

I did feel bad when they told her what she was really brought there for but the ending more than made up for it!

Definitely recommend this collection!

I loved this anthology. I could not put it down. These short stories are standalone, but some have the potential of becoming a series. These stories feature many different supernatural creatures. I found this to be an amazing collection. I recommend this set to anyone who loves to read about shifters.

This anthology was truly delightful to read. Each story having a uniqueness about it that pulls the paranormal lover in and doesn’t let go. Some novellas stayed with me long after finishing and to me that makes for a great tale! One fable in particular is Allergic Reaction by T.A. Moorman. A romantic paranormal comedy that had me laughing so hard, tears were falling from my eyes. Each time I thought I knew what was going to happen next in the narrative, the author threw another curve ball. There was so much family drama, I thought I was back home for Easter Dinner! I can’t say anymore without giving away spoilers, so seriously, read this!

Totally Loved This.

I so enjoyed reading these short stories. Each and everyone.
If you love reading about shifters like I do, picture shifter bears running around in bunny ears and tails. Lmao that had me in tears.
Then Lil Toby, he has my heart and all he went thru. Bless his soul.
Whoever reads this and other stories from the authors will enjoy each and everyone. I Like how everyone got together and put this in the works.
Wonderful job. Kudos to all of the authors.
