In this one there's one of the other horses in the stable that are gearing up to go on a competition. Svante, the cooky old shetland pony, who is quite old. 37 years old, which I forgot the mention, decides to help the best he can. By telling a story when he was doing competitions and were excellent. Because of course Svante is excellent at all he does. Even if he now as an old pony mostly want to eat and hang out with his friends the stablecat and the stabledog. This book was just as hilarious as the other two. It's quite obvious that the writer knows what she's talking about. Just as interesting as reading the story is to read the authors notes in the end, where she tells the story about the old grumpy shetland pony that she meet once and who was the inspiration for Svante. A nice book! Kiddo loved it to!
