Lex is left confused and alone when her sister, Brie, leaves without a real explanation. She seeks out her guardian for guidance just to find out there are more important things she needs to worry about.
The gods are dying…
Tasked with saving them, Lex and Zagreus head off to the Isle of Pepromeno, a desolate realm where no god or mortal is welcome. Will Lex be able to make painful sacrifices in order to save the gods? Ones that could drastically change the destiny for not only herself, but that of her twin sister.

Brie has no idea what she wants or who she is anymore, but when Loki, the guardian of Asgard, convinces her to follow her heart, she decides to return to the forbidden realm, Pithos.
It was time to find the answers—time to find out who wants her dead…
With the Norse god and an unwelcome tag-a-long by her side, Brie heads back to the nightmare she just can’t seem to get away from. Will she be able to face her demons and find out the secrets the realm holds, or will it all be for nothing?

Absolutely brilliant third book in the series.
Lex and Brie have gone their separate ways, their own journeys keeping them busy.
Lex is frustrated that Brie didn't confide in her. After all, they're twins, so it's a little bit of betrayal.
So, while Lex and Zagreus are trying to find out why the gods are in danger, Brie is trying to find out—with Loki's help— who wants her dead, and why.

This story was not only funny at times, but also deeply emotional. Lex had to make some tough decisions that not only affected her, but her twin sister.
Brie dug deeper than ever before and found out some things that truly rocked her world.

I definitely recommend this book.

WOW! This story really throws you for a loop. It's really an awesome read and so surprising. I really loved getting to read from both Lex's and Brie's point of view. The plot twists and just how intricate the story was is amazing. I loved every moment of reading this story. All the twists and turns that were taken and their entire journey really made this story amazing. I really hope that more becomes of this series or there are at least spin offs of this world.

I love this series, and this book was the perfect ending to an amazing trilogy!
Lex and Brie continue on their quests to save the worlds, but there is more in store for them than their missions.
The author takes us on a journey of mythology, folklore, and finding love where we least expect it, especially for these girls.
I'm sad to see the end of this series, but I can't wait for more books like this to come.
