Time Heals All Things is a poetry collection about pain and heartbreak-- and how to turn pain into beauty. even when our days are darker than ever we hold on to hope knowing that time will heal our wounds. -time heals all things
Kişisel gelişim kitabından hallice bir şiir kitabıydı. Şiirlerin bir çoğunu daha önce duymuştum. Hatta bir ara annemin sesi bile kafamın içinde yankılandı. Büyürken kitaptaki bana anlattığı şeyler de kitabın içine serpiştirilmişti. Pek ısınamadım şiirlere.
"life does not close a door without opening a new one
-doors"
"Hayat yeni bir kapı açmadan bir kapıyı kapatmaz."
"you reap what you sow so remember to sow good things.
-sow"
"Ne ekersen onu biçersin. İyi şeyler ekmeyi unutma."
This was just a quick read for me, really short! But directly to the points i almost underlined all the words there because i just wanted to write it back to my wall 🙈 that sometimes reminded me to the situations i was dealing with, even still until now :)
A lot of the poetry in this retreads many familiar ideas that have cropped up in poems of late; some of it feels as though it needed to be expanded, and a lot of it could have been tied together to make one continuous poem, which I feel would have improved it a fair bit. That being said, there are small poems in this that ring incredibly true, and certain lines that will hit you where it hurts. There are tiny pieces of perfect beauty in an otherwise unremarkable collection, and for those, it is worth giving a shot. It's short, and the poems aren't very long, so it's easy to read in one sitting - I did it in about ten minutes. Worth looking at, but don't expect it to be the next Plath. I look forward to seeing what the author produces in future, because there is certainly talent and potential there, it just perhaps has not quite gotten to the best it could be, which is absolutely fair; writing is a craft, and like all crafts, can only be improved with practice.
It really feels like something is missing when I read through this poetry collection. It was very mediocre in genre and the formatting was a bit messed up sometimes. 3/5 Stars - decent but lacking it's own spark
I know the aim of this book is too inspire people but it made me feel like the author is invalidating people who are struggling. Idk meh. Not my cup of tea.
