After years of pretending to be the Gryffindor Princess and Harry Potters best friend, Hermione reveals her true self.
She get's kidnapped on the train ride to home and is captured by the Malfoys. What no one knows however is that all of this was her plan.

She has always been a pureblood and her parents were Death Eaters that got killed by the Order. After their death, the Malfoys took her in and raised her.
When it was time for her to start Hogwarts Lucius came up with the plan of Hermione pretending to be a Muggleborn and sorted into Gryffindor so that she can become friends with Harry.

Now that Voldemort returned, it's time to put an end to all of this so that Hermione can show her true colors and finally be with Draco.

This story had such an interesting premise but failed in it's interpretation.
The characters were out of line baring only a few of their original traits.
The relationship between Hermione and Draco was rushed and just a side part of the story. We didn't get to see how their relationship planned out. They just start hitting on eachother and then get together. There was no transition...
I would actually prefer to see them in their Hogwarts years when they pretended that they hated eachother but then went home and were best friends.
This did nothing for me.

I've read this story before but it's one of many of cleotheo's fics that bring me great comfort and joy. Well written and some of my favourite plot lines/tropes.
