Book three as good as others, short books that get to the point without a lot of filler. Plenty of action and bad things happening.

WOW. Talk about relevance for today's world. The story could be ripped straight from any major newspaper. Realistic and action packed. I don't want to give any spoilers away so just suffice to say this is full of laughs, tears, action and surprises.

Read this in two sittings in one day. The third in this series i've read. Believable, up to the minute, fast-paced. I laughed, got angry, sad too.
Harvey Stone is a hero - more an anti-hero - you shouldn't be rooting for as an ex-assassin, a stone cold killer, but you do. He teams up with the good guys in book 1, and this team of specialists go after the bad guys, simple enough.
Mr Weston writes about things happening now: child trafficking, terrorism, specialist bank heists. He writes in a way that i love to read.
Off now to get book 4 in the series. I highly recommend this series and author.

There is plenty of action here. Former criminals and almost criminals are brought together is a semi-official police unit. There target is to stop major crimes. Connected is a terrorist attack in the planning and an art object theft.

While I found it hard to get through some of the superfluous trivia, a lot of people will enjoy it.

Stone fall

Interesting series of tales of the doings of stone with this one being the most enjoyable to listen me. I think because main character was killed

Exciting page turner but...

Did J.D. Weston have anyone who understands grammar proofread his books? For me this ruined the story. If you can overlook calling the ground outside the floor or using past perfect tense incorrectly, the story is very good but this is the of Harvey Stone for me

I have now read the first three books in this series and I am enjoying them. The characters are growing on me, the story is entertaining, and well written. I can comfortably recommend these books with the one caveat being the degree of violence. For the moment I am content to accept it as contextual to the background of the main character and the nature of the special squad.

Fast, intense and wonderful.

This volume is very good and moves at a breakneck pace.

Harvey is still not done with his demons, but he has a way of working through them.

Great read

Just enough suspense and action to keep me interested. It really takes a good one to hold my attention. This one did the job.
