Delta Protectors Box Set (Security 1-3) - a review by Rosemary Kenny
Collision: Delta Protectors #1.
I enjoyed this touching homage to The Bodyguard, which gets a mention prior to the first interaction between the protagonists, Veronica Langley and actress and her bodyguard Jason Keyes.
The initial reason for hiring Jason via the Delta Protectors force of Chase Lincoln is, predictably, letters she's been getting from a stalker.
She also goes to a nightclub and panics needing Jason to come to the rescue and take her home, where the inevitable happens and they become intimate - despite his misgivings.
The only real difference to the film/book is that the two remain lovers and even get engaged at the end of the book after Jason's rescued her from the brink of a farcical forced marriage.
I voluntarily read and (honestly, as always), reviewed an advance copy of this book.
Torn Apart: Delta Protectors #2.
Rebellious, overprotected George(ina), decides it's time to fly the nest before she's too timid to
ever leave it and chooses a distant college as the means of doing so.
Her 'empty-nester' parents hire ex-Marine Spencer Downing, through his brother Chase's Delta Protectors security firm, to go as an undercover 'student'/bodyguard.
Needless to say, the unsuspecting George falls for her hunky 'classmate' and as the feelings are mutual, Spencer finds it hard to keep his mind on the job he's getting paid for.
How will George react when she discovers why Spencer's at the college?
What happens next? Is George really in any danger?
How will things turn out between the young would-be lovers?
This is another quick and easy read by the lovely Kayla Myles and follows on from Collision, the first book in the series. Delta Protectors are clearly the bodyguards of choice - maidens rejoice, there's a new hunk in town!

The Delta Protectors Box Set is a collection of books about the men who comprise the security agency set up to protect those who need their help. The women in the series are not wimps but strong determined women who need some help to solve their security needs. Their books are action-packed adventures with lots of suspense and romance. Each book is this three-book box set is a stand-alone HEA story.
Collision: Is Veronica Langley and Jason Keyes's story. Veronica an up and coming actress has a stalker who tried to kidnap her. When Veronica's agent hires Delta Protectors she gets Jason as her protector. Jason and Veronica are like oil and water they constantly clash on almost every issue. Will Jason or Veronica win or will they both be winners in the end?
Torn Apart: Is Georgiana (George) Pratt and Spencer Downing's story. Escaping her overprotected parents George goes to a college far from her family's hometown. Spencer has been hired to keep an eye on George and in order to so he has to disguise himself as a fellow student. As fate would have it Spencer and George grow closer yet will their secrets tear them apart?
Broken: Is Rebecca Hayes and Michael Gardner story. Rebecca is a protector and her first assignment is to protect musician Tanner Lee and his daughter. Michael is the man who broke Rebecca heart years ago and is, unfortunately, her new partner. Can these two former lovers work together to protect their client from harm? Will they be able to co-exist despite their mutual past and most importantly will they fall in love once again?

A great box set!
Collision - My first read by Kayla Myles and thoroughly enjoyed it. This is the first book in the Delta Protectors Series and it's off to a great start. Vanessa, superstar actress, and Jason, ex-Delta Force operative, fall for each other fast and hard while Jason is protecting her from a crazy stalker. Danger, suspense, and hot romance make this a fast read. I do wish some feelings and scenes went into more detail, but an enjoyable read. I look forward to the next book in the series.
Torn Apart - Torn Apart is the 2nd book in the Delta Protectors Series and is a sweet romance. Spencer is hired to be Georgiana's bodyguard by her parents without her knowledge. These two meet and fall fast. There's some drama, heartbreak, and a small amount of action and suspense. I didn't enjoy this book as much as book #1. It seemed slower and Georgiana just seemed too immature to me. She was totally sheltered by her parents so I guess this can be expected. I like my hero of the story to be more alpha and I guess Spencer just didn't act like an alpha ex-Delta Force operative to me. These two got their HEA and on the whole an enjoyable story.
Broken - Broken is book 3 in the Delta Protectors Series and my favorite so far. Rebecca is caught between new co-worker and love from her past, Michael, and the client it's her job to protect, Tanner. I won't spoil it and say who she chooses, but I rooted for Tanner the entire time. This was a hot, quick read with some mystery, action, and suspense and kept me entertained the entire time.

Good Stories
The stories n this collection. Were good, but there are lots of distracting errors, grammar tense and incorrect words. In addition, books written with American characters set IN America should use American colloquialisms. Americans RARELY use words like bloke, or spectacles , there were others .

Fast reads, enjoyable
These 3 books are fast reads with simple plots. The characters and the stories are enjoyable. They have love, some suspense and some excitement. Nice escape books.

Alright!
I chose this rating because these books were pretty alright. All of the characters were pretty good. The books was set on protection and falling in love. Meeting your soul mate to say. I think the author did a good job. I recommend these books to all romance readers.
