Picking it off from where we have left off in book 2, Aria and the five dragon princes are now thriving hard to determine how to break the curse flowing among them/in their blood. All the meanwhile, Dark Dragon Zyrian is after Aria and her mysterious heritage. To be able to handle all of that, Aria and the five dragon princes have to unravel Aria's parentage. Which, of course, got dragged out till the end. lol
For the first few chapters, I feel a little disoriented, trying to reconcile the Aria that I've come to adore from before to the current one I'm reading. It's just that I think before meeting the princes, she seems like a no-nonsense, cool girl. I'm not sure if it's because of the way the guys isolated her in hopes of giving her space. But she's kind of, in a sense, crippled by that so she came off as someone...whiny. Her dialogue during that time is...less than bearable. And it makes sense that when she came out of her funk, she took charge and engaged herself to the cause, she's more fun to read.
The guys...I'm having problem distinguishing who's who, sorry. It's like I replace all of them with one another. Except for Erik, because he's the temperamental one. What I'm just trying to say is that...I seem to observe less and less chemistry between Aria and the guys. It's like, the height of the thrill of their romance is on book 1? And it has spiraled down from then on, albeit rather slowly.
On the bright side, I'm so relieved Silas is doing well. Finally and actually making a life out of the bubble he and Aria have from before. I freaking adore this man.
The read went quick. Too soon, dare I say. In turn, it's a bit hard to see the progress of the plot & the development of the characters. Nonetheless, I still enjoy the series and want to delve into that tiny but important piece of information in the end.
