The Dom

I’m not broken, tortured, or scarred, some cliched, overdone and sensationalized misconception about this lifestyle… and the men in it who control their submissives with a strong hand.
I’m just a Dom. Just a man who gets off on a woman who entrusts me with her submission. Just a man who loves to be able to show them all the ways the gift of their trust can bring them untold, never-before-experienced layers of pleasure.
But casually.
Just play. Just sex.
Nothing more.
Until I came across her.
She’s everything a Dom as experienced as I am shouldn’t want - new to the lifestyle, unsure, untrained. It should never have gone beyond those first few exchanges online. But there was something about her, something that kept me texting, calling, teaching her to trust me enough to meet with me.
After one touch, one taste, one night, I knew there was no going back. She was mine. And I was going to show her everything she had been craving from a man all her life.
I guess I just had no idea - or at least didn’t want to admit to myself - that this was different, she was different, we were different. And once I got to have her, I wanted to keep her.
You know… if I could convince her to stay…

Adley

It was just a drunken decision.
I woke up after a night of a little - okay, a lot - of ‘Thirty is just a number’ drinking to find that drunk-me had decided to do something that sober-me would never have had the guts to do, no matter how much I wanted it.
I had joined a D/s dating site.
And I was totally, absolutely going to delete my account and move on with my life. A life where I had secretly been craving a hand strong enough to take the control I held onto so tightly away from me.
Except I had a message.
From him.
I could never have anticipated the pull I felt toward him, how strong the need within me would be to feel him show me all the things I had been wanting, but denying myself.
I didn’t know it could feel like it did, that it could consume me, that it could make me crave not only his touch, but him.
It was dangerous territory, slowing falling for a man who made it clear that what was between us was casual. He wouldn’t even tell me his real name. And as things started to get more intense - both physically and emotionally - I had to start to debate whether the pleasure he gave me was worth staying for if it leads to a heartbreak I was sure I wasn’t prepared for…

Another Gadziala disappointment.
I guess I'm expecting too much.
The premise is something dark, and I'm not getting that from her stories.
Banned from Amazon?
Why?
I guess there are some triggers, but not so many and not that shocking.

This is a BDSM story.
Adley always wanted to try that lifestyle, but never had the courage to do it.
In one drunk night, she logs in, in a BDSM site.
There's where she meets Nathaniel.
Again, and there's been a pattern in Gadziala books I've read, I didn't feel a real connection between the main characters.
I don't know if it's a "me" thing, but it just didn't work out for me...
And I really wanted to...
Though, this one was better than the last ones.

A beautifully written book about a budding D/s relationship. If you have a craving for a Dominant Alpha book and you're sick of all the OTT, overbearing, insensitive, asshole, borderline abusive Dominants that are way too frequent nowadays, please do read this book. Everything about it was near perfect. This is the journey of a beginner, Adley, discovering the BDSM world for the first time. And DOM who is guiding her through it. To my safety gang, no other woman/man issues, no cheating, but plenty and varied kinky fuckery. And of course a HEA! Enjoy!

I really liked this book! It didn’t have much of a plot, but it was still enjoyable. The story is about a woman who decides to explore her fantasy of being dominated by a man, so she signs up for a casual hookup on a D/s website. There, she meets Dom, who she has an online and telephone connection with for a few months before they decide to meet up. Of course, casual turns into feelings and they live HEA. The book is mostly about Dom “training” Adley and Adley learning what she does and doesn’t like.

Despite there not being much of a plot, I really liked the characters. I actually thought the author did a great job of developing a connection between H and h. The smutty scenes were HOT AF! The BDSM was not on the heavy side, just some bondage, spanking, and as the title suggests, lots of “O” denial. I really liked that H was not only dominant, but he was really sweet and caring too. It was also really refreshing to have a female sub who wasn’t a doormat.

Overall, a really great smutty read!

She just needed an area in her life that she did not NEED to be in full control of. Adley was curious, drawn to the idea of sexual pleasure through submission, which led her to an online dating service and the man she knew as DOM.

Yes, Jessica Gadziala, queen of passionate, romantic tales that do not shy away from freely expressing pleasure, has created a tale of a woman looking for something more in her sex life, a relationship that eschews emotional attachments while allowing her to explore the unknown, but could Adley let go and learn to trust a stranger?

DON’T COME is more than a seedy thrill ride to titillate readers! Ms. Gadziala takes us into the hearts and minds of two people, an experienced DOM, used to being in total control, used to teaching his partner the pleasures of submission and stepping outside the bonds of vanilla sex no strings attached. The other, a woman learning to trust, to give and to receive pleasure from her submission. When you are finished, you will realize that just maybe the teacher learned more from the student.

Once again, Jessica Gadziala gives us a strong woman, a man powerful enough to be her match and tossed in a true romance that we watch flare into a raging, if unexpected inferno for both characters!

Yes, it is BSDM. No, it is not dark, it is a story of honesty, trust and opening up to one special person who you just know is “the one.” Can BSDM be beautiful? Can it express the strongest of emotional ties? Yes, definitely! Is it for everyone? Nope.

Never thought you could stomach reading about this lifestyle, because, ewww, control? Bondage? Subservience? Embarrassment, maybe? Prepare to have your eyes opened wide, because Jessica Gadziala has taken BDSM out of the shadows and turned it into a flaming hot romance with a touch of sweetness that is totally, universally human!

I received a complimentary ARC edition from Jessica Gadziala!

At first I was distrustful that I would enjoy a bdsm book, and felt begrudgingly like I was going to read it simply because it was written by one of my fave Romance authors.

But holy Hell.

Instead of the seedy, scary, bondage wrapped, anything-pierced un-relatable characters I was expecting to meet, I was over-the-moon happy to find DOM and Adley to be the sweetest, hottest, loveable multi-dimensional characters I have ever read since The Sex Surrogate/Dr. Chase Hudson.

There is no scary BDSM in Don't Come. There is bdsm...but the focus is on what makes a D/s relationship, in the author's mind, an acceptable and desirable one that has the potential to lead to such utmost trust that the commitment can be longlasting beyond just a temporary D/s found through matching online algorithms and random search.

I'm self-admittedly, unashamedly, Vanilla. SOOOOO you can bet your vibrating panties that I read Chapter 1 of Don't Come with a long held breath, and one eye closed. But just like DOM reminds Adley to "breathe" and be open to try new things...by the time I got to the end of the book I cried a little inside that it was over, and with my tail tucked between my legs (read: housecoat belt because I read all day and didn't bother with hygiene) I must concede that Don't Come is my only fictional exposure to BDSM that was classy, believable, personally acceptable, and did not leave me disturbed or grossed out.

The scorching chemistry between DOM and Adley makes me want to scream RED! RED! RED!... Readers you need to obey the Green and pick up Jessica Gadziala's Don't Come.

...Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Navesink anymore!

I didn't know what to expect from JG in this new series (well, I hope series?!!) but I'm always so impressed with this author's clean, simple, beautifully written style, that I'm convinced she could write erotica about cowboys falling for green aliens and I'd love it!

Terrific story, passionate, hot and dirty - can't wait to see what's next from this writer!

Do come and read this book if your looking for a sexy BDSM story written in a way that almost anyone could relate to.

In today's world most women have had to become strong and independent. Financially supporting themselves and enjoying the freedom to make their own choices. Sexually though, some crave to give their desires, and themselves to another in the bedroom. Most never take that step to make that happen... But our heroine Adley, after a night of to much drinking on her 30th birthday, signs herself up to a D/s dating site called Discreet DS Encounters. The next morning she has the usual regrets for making such a bold decision while inebriated but something stops her from immediately canceling her subscription and then she gets her first connection and her life changes.

Our Dom in this story has never had a normal relationship with a woman nor has he ever wanted one. He's a self made millionaire who craves dominating a woman in the bedroom and showing her pleasure like she never known before. He never keeps one long and is surprised when he finds himself fascinated with Adley to the point of craving her himself.

But can a control freak and a serial playboy keep things just casual, neither falling for the other or wanting more? One or both will have to make a sacrifice.

This was a great unconventional love story that had some humorous witty banter that I loved between the Dom and his male assistant Fagan.

Sooooo Hot!!

The unicorn of BDSM books! I read this book in two and a half hours, I couldn't put it down. Not once did I throw up in my mouth a little and force myself to keep reading because I'm not a quitter. No skimming. No seedy, tacky scenes of bloodshed in which you are supposed to believe that strengthens the characters "bond". Just a lot of HOT and a little dirty! Definitely has me counting down the time until the Hubs comes home... pink blanket ready!! Loved it!!!

This took me back to when I first fell in love with erotic romance. There's a big difference, to me, between erotica and erotic romance and THIS book was like it was when I first fell in love with BDSM stories that make you not only squirm with anticipation, but fall in love.
I totally loved this story. And HOT AF! It was like edging the entire time I was reading. Not joking!
My Jessica Gadziala cherry has been popped and I'm SURE I'll be back for more.

One dimensional characters. An overdone theme. She's not allowed to come hence the name of the book but I got sick of reading him saying 'don't come' and telling her to 'breathe'.

Predictable storyline but no connection whatsoever between them. It was very amateurish and the dialogue was stilted.

3.25 stars. This book was only okay for me. This is Adley and Nathaniel's story. Adley gets drunk on her 30th birthday and ends up making a profile on a D/s encounters website. She is contacted by Nathaniel with the screenname DOM , who won't tell her his real name. They begin messaging, which leads to texting, which leads to talking on the phone, and finally meeting up for BDSM sessions. Somehow this leads to them beginning a relationship.

I was sucked into this book from the beginning, but I didn't really enjoy the way BDSM was portrayed here. Nate was not a good dom. He never explained BDSM and the things they did together to Adley, who was pretty clueless. Then, when she didn't understand something and got hurt emotionally, he explained it to her poorly, leaving her confused, insecure, and feeling like she had done something wrong. I felt really bad for her and even shed a few tears. I never believed this couple was in love. They never talked to each other. Neither of them tried to get to know each other. Adley didn't even know her DOM's name for most of the book. He was so cold to her and never opened himself up. I do think Nathaniel had feelings for her, but he gave her so little back that it was hard for me to see why she would have feelings for him. I couldn't imagine a relationship between them working out in the future when they never let their guards down and really got to know each other. They don't discuss a relationship or any sort of future until 88% and then the epilogue begins at 92%. So much was left unresolved. The story really isn't bad. I did like the end and the epilogue, when you can see they have really fallen for each other. I wanted more of that sooner. I liked who they became. I just have no idea how they got there.

Overall, this was not a bad book. It was an easy read and the story was interesting. I just didn't love it.

I don't know what to say about this book. This was everything and more than I imagined it would be. I can't say that I haven't ever been curious about a Dom/sub relationship, much like Adley, but I have never explored it further, like Adley did. Adley meets Dom on a website and their relationship takes off from there. I loved how Jessica explored the relationship, mostly through Adley's eyes. Giving us the reader an inside view to a novice in the BDSM community. I loved the learning aspects as Dom showed and educated Adley about different things and rules, but that the BDSM never took over the book. There are some books that have a BDSM element in them and that is all the book focuses on. Not this one. Don't Come was more than exploring a Dom/sub relationship, it was about the emotions that two people go through when they realize everything they never knew they wanted is right in front of them.

I can't say enough good things about this book. Jessica pulled me in from the very beginning and I never let go.

This book was 🔥🔥🔥. Jessica really really really out did her self with this one. Mind blown, panties disintegrated. Adley like most women are always curious about the more in sexual encounters. The hand on your throat the cuff's on your wrist, total submission. Something her drunk subconscious finally submits to. I really enjoyed Adley's self discovery and awareness of what her body enjoys. The scenes between Adley and DOM where so 🔥. I have to say that between Jessica's on point writing and Cholé's amazing cover this book is epic. I highly recommend if you are looking for that something extra in the bedroom or for your reading pleasure!

I love kink, BDSM, spanking and D/s reads BUT their presence alone is not enough to make a good book. I still need characters I connect to and a relationship/chemistry I believe in then it just isn't for me. Sadly this book had neither, so at 44% it became a DNF, because if I'm not caught up in the story by that point there are better ones to move on to.

Whilst I really liked Adley the mysterious DOM just felt like a self-centred and arrogant dick. I loved how real Adley's reactions felt and the author went some way to SSC with the discussions held. However ALL scenes are usually agreed in advance, and whilst they had been chatting via text and phone for a while MOST in the kink world would never expect to have a full on naked scene with a play partner on their second meeting. Any Dom worth his money would have sat down and discussed both hard and soft limits with his sub face-to-face. And going to his house? Really? And it never once entered her head that might not be safe to do?

It wasn't the writing per se, in fact I could have read those scenes when they weren't together until the cows came home. The author can write good characters - I loved Adley and when DOM was in the office with his assistant I thoroughly enjoyed the scenes. I wouldn't rule out reading other work by the author, it was simply that this particular story didn't work for me.

The Delight
This was an unexpected delight from Kindle Unlimited. The writing wasn't the usual drivel you get in some. Instead I found a well laid out and thoughtful story that took steps to be true to the genre. Loved it!

Review
Adley made a drunken decision on her thirtieth birthday to sign up for D/s dating site. Her sober side would never admit her desires lean this way, but the drunk side of her didn't see any problems with this. Making the decision to delete her account, she gets a message. His typed words controlled her in ways she only dreamed of and now she can't seem to stop. She knows she can't fall for a man who has made it clear this is only for fun, but every step draws her into a world she craves and into the arms of a man she is starting to love.

Dom is The Dom. He loves showing women what their gift of submission means to him. Giving them pleasure while they give him the submission he craves over their bodies. He knows Adley is new, untrained, but he finds himself craving the need to teach her about the world he lives in. He goes from messages to texts to calling and then meeting her. Keeping her coldly at arms length when her passions overflow and he get caught in them.

The passion and cravings these two share are incredibly pulling, but at the same time Dom's coldness pushed me away as much as it did Adley. He reveals very little of himself to her and while he makes non-verbal statements with how he dresses her or collars her, she doesn't know he is doing it.

I do applaud her for standing up to him. She won't be his cold play thing when she feels so much deeply. She may be a submissive just letting her submission create feelings that aren't there, but they will not be invalidated by the man who evoked them.

The BDSM is not over the top, but it isn't a vanilla story either. They each have their kinks and how they meld together makes this one sexy story. I wasn't expecting to like this as much as I did and now I can't wait to find more books by this author.

Did I enjoy the heck out off this cheeky release from the lovely Jessica Gadziala. This most certainly hit all the right spots.

As goes this is a pretty light bdsm book so if you're new to reading them or in fact don't like them then I'd definitely suggest this one. I personally have a love hate relationship with bdsm stories because I want the women to take charge and push the limits. I HATE submissive/doormat heroines period. That's it.. I just cannot deal with them. subs and bdsm go hand in hand so for me it has to be that perfect balance and I only have a handful of authors who tick that box for me.

This isn't your stereotypical damaged characters trying to erase their past with pain type of storyline. It's a women who's finally ready to test the waters on all her untold fantasies and a guy who just like to take control.. not because he damaged or broken but just because it's what gets his cock hard. It's actually fucking great because for once it is solely about their pleasure not their past.

Adley is super cute. A strong independent women who knows herself, is fierce and honest but also has that touch of innocence. I really enjoyed her character growth throughout the story! I love how she didn't loose her personality in the process of finding herself in pleasure. She's super relatable and easy to love. I got her fears, connected to her emotions and rooted for her the whole way.

DOM/the man I shall not name. I must be honest and say that it was one thing that irked me.. how she found out his name. It should of been him to tell her, one very small complaint but it did frustrate me a teeny bit. I loved him though! He frustrated me to no end because I just wanted him to feel more..but I guess that was his journey and I loved the way it played out. Strong and confident he was cock sure but it suited him. He kept true to his character throughout and boy did he have that dirty talk down to a T! Like seriously... you may need a pantie change after this one because it's deliciously dirty in all the best ways.

So a wrap up.....

I really did love this! It's written seemlessly. It's super tasteful and stays true to the plot. It's experimental and fun but it's also relatable which makes it easy to connect to. The characters, the story.. its complex almost raw and unapologetic but it fits. I love this author so I knew I'd love this but honestly she blew me away. I love that it's original to her instead of falling into that typical bdsm trend that's flying about. I cannot wait for what is to come!!! So many possibilities it's exciting.

This book is so HOT it will steam up your Kindle. I FLOVED this story.

Adley is thirty now. She has friends but lives alone and works alone. She's always had desires that veer towards kink but never the opportunity to explore. After a drunken night, she signs up on a dating website that caters to Dom/sub connections. And she figures...what the hell. She's gonna give it a shot.

DOM is her first contact. Rule of the site dictate your level of contact and increase over time if both party's agree. It's a safe way to explore the lifestyle. Things progress between these two until they eventually meet and fulfill this need in Adley. Even the text and phone interactions are HOT!

Their chemistry is smokin' HOT! DOM is exactly that but not over the top. He's alpha, make no mistake, but he likes his women strong in their daily life but submissive in the bedroom. He's not looking for a slave. Just a new sub to do casual. It's all about the fun and fulfillment.

Best laid plans and all that....once feelings get involved it all changes. These two both have their hang ups. But each pushes the other out of their comfort zone and in doing so, they both reach total, complete fulfillment. It's an unconventional meeting that works. These two are a perfect match!

I read a lot, and without shame I also read a lot of kink and porn. It's difficult to find a BDSM book that "gets it" and doesn't make me shout rude things at the book or my Kindle. I'm delighted to say that this book gets it!

Kink, and the D/s relationship is explored slowly, carefully. Under the umbrella of a kinkster site, limits are spelled out in advance of the relationship, and honored. When things are too much, safewords are used. There's no mention of subspace, which delights me to no end, but aftercare is still provided after an adrenalin-fueled sexual rush. Did I mention this book gets it? Finally!

The first part of the book is heavy foreplay, building suspense with the repeated "don't come" instructions referenced in the title. The latter part of the book makes up for this, heavily sexed up with a plot, more information about both lead characters, and Fagan, who needs his own book. (Please and thank you.)

I will definitely be looking for more from this author.

In a departure from Navesink Bank, Jessica Gadziala weaves a new tale of a BDSM novice whose curiosity - plus a LOT of alcohol - sees Adley waking up very hungover after celebrating (mourning?) her 30th birthday. A quick glance at the open laptop still sitting on her bed reveals that late that night, she not only signed up for a Dom/sub site, listed her personal stats, and brazenly checked ALL of the things she'd like to try (but had previously been way too embarrassed/afraid to ask). And paid up front for her membership. Oh, and she already has a message from somebody named DOM on the site who wants to chat about her interests. Taking the plunge, she starts to chat online with DOM and begins her exploration of an anonymous sexual D/s relationship with a gorgeous, wealthy, serious man whose name she doesn't even know. Complex emotional issues are dealt with beautifully, as always with a Jessica Gadziala book. This is a fantastic, sexy read!

Have you ever done something when you were drunk that you always wanted to do but didn't have the courage to do it? Well that is exactly what happens to Adley. This drunken choice leads to a fun adventure that changes her life forever. We meet Dom and he is exactly what all women want in a dominate man. He is tall, sexy and knows how to please a woman but also he is a Dom that doesn't keep subs for long.. As usual in most JG books we have great supporting characters, Fagan is amazing!

For those of you who have read books by JG this is well written and a great story like those but it is double HOTT HOTT HOTT(fan myself off for a bit) and I wish it never ended. I think Jessica found her new calling or at least I hope to see some more like this. If this isn't your normal type of read please give it a try and you won't be disappointed.
