Some things will soon come to an end. While others are just beginning.

The breakdown of Arys and Alexa takes them to a whole new level of twin flame hell. Suffering the loss of their keystone, they’re unravelling fast. Time is running out to change the destiny of their destruction.

Kale Sinclair has come home from Las Vegas with one purpose. To die. For her. It’s a purpose that keeps Alexa awake, that rocks her to her soul. It’s the only way to break the curse that forces her to face Shya’s torment every full moon. Kale wants to save her from this hell, and he’s more than ready to leave this world with a bang. Alexa would rather suffer than end Kale.

But it doesn’t matter what she wants. This time it’s not really about her.

This gritty urban fantasy series is a walk to the dark and wild side. It features ass kicking action, magic, and a reverse harem twist.

I am the author of the Alexa O’Brien Huntress and the Rebel Heart series. I write urban fantasy that is dark and gritty with a twist of romance and horror but which is ultimately about people in dark places discovering who they are and what they’re made of.

I’ve been writing since the age of 9 when I had a Christmas themed short story published in the local town paper. A lover of rock music, vampires and muscle cars, I’m a dreamer who always secretly wanted to be a rockstar.

I love to hear from readers so don’t hesitate to drop me a line.

Bittersweet tears deserves 10 stars

Author is obviously devoted to her characters. Each character is unique and skillfully developed. Her stories are consistent in what has happened, (unlike some other writers with their series.)
This series has kept my interest from the first page until the end. There is a smooth flow .
This one had me feeling compassion for Alexa and tears for Kale. I even had a tiny, tiny bit if understanding for Arys and his feeling of helplessness. This incident was so well written I couldn't put it down .
Amazing unique well thought out. I would give 10 stars

So, this one, hmmm. The twists and turns continue, and if you have been a fan of a certain vampire from the start, this one, is well, emotional. I was surprised that I wasn't more angry (I can't go into detail, spoiler ya know) with a certain situation, but in the end it seemed that story line had done its dash and this situation put another problem to rest.

Enough of the cryptic not trying get around spoiler stuff, overall I am still enjoying this story. Not sure how I am feeling about Willows transformation, and will be interesting to see how he cope in the future. Fallon is still a dick head, love as a reader how I have a love/hate feeling about him.

Jez if evolving, and that is interesting to watch. Jenner and Briggs are still dick heads, we don't get to see to much of them so that is ok.

The one we've all been dreading!

I'd been looking forward to this latest instalment of the Alexa series and couldn't wait to dive in albeit with reluctance of what was to come.

Alexa and Arys are fighting in all ways possible as they struggle with the light and dark of their twin flames. Shaz is still battling to hold things together even though he is no longer their keystone. Kale is committed in his desire to end his life by Alexa's hand while Willow struggles now being human.  Add into the mix Jez and her demon heritage issues plus the group of hunters who have descended on their trophy gathering mission.....alexa has a tonne of shit on her plate.

Repercussions and revelations set the scene for what is to come and I can't wait, but this book has emotion on another level which leaves your heart battered and bruised

Best Alexa yet, but I am so heartbroken...

Couldn't stop reading once I started as per usual with any Trina M. Lee novel, but I have to admit for the first time ever I did put it down for a few days. When I knew for sure Kale was going through with it, I had to take a break. He has been my favorite character for a long time and I was seriously hoping for some wiggle room here, but I could tell that wasn't happening. I am SO grateful that there will be more Alexa to come and the Jez necromancer twist was a very interesting surprise, it's just too bad it couldn't bring my Kale back...

OMG

Trina has done it again. Just when you think that things are going to get predictable she throws in a little twist near the end of the book. I am on tenterhooks waiting for book 14 ( or 14 1/2. Jez's story would be nice). Hint hint.

This book devastated me...even knowing what the final outcome would be for some, I was obviously not prepared. Definitely a top ugly cry read. With that said, it was fantastic. I love how the story is evolving. There are so many interesting characters...those you love, those you hate and those you love and hate it just depends on the moment. I am looking forward to the next chapter in Alexa’s story but this book took a piece of my heart. #kale4ever

I adore this series and this is the first time that I have left a review in relation to this book series. I think that Trina creates a wonderful diverse universe of uniquely crafted characters. That being said I absolutely HATE Alexa. I understand she is a completely flawed character, but her selfishness and egotism are at new levels and IT almost stopped me from reading this installment. She lost my vote when she went running off with Kale. I do not like Kale, and I realize I am probably in the minority with that thought.
It really grinds my gears that she disregard other peoples feelings especially Shaz and Arys who are her "lovers'', but she goes and does what ever she wants- like sleeping with Kale, Falon and Jenner. I know they love her, but seriously how much more can they take? How understanding can they be? I don't think it is fair to them especially when they don't do anything like that to her. It befuddles me. She needs to pull her head out of her arse and realise not everything is about her. And geez have some restraint.

Her relationship with Arys is starting to p^%s me off, It is on complete repeat. They seriously need to get it together. I hope his and Shaz's relationship separate to Alexa develops more.
I enjoy the supporting characters much more than her. Shaz is sweet and loving and deserves much better than Alexa, Falon because well aside from being a dick, he eases the tension in the book with humor and brings an interesting element to the story, Willow because well he's Willow, and Jez because she is awesome!

Overall I just didn't enjoy the story as much as I have in the past probably from around book 9, but I have kept reading because I do want to know what happens even though I don't particularly like where the story has headed.

So heartbreaking and impossible to put down

Ever since Alexa helped turn Willow human and her and Aris lost Shaz as their keystone, things have been volatile between Alexa and Aris. Add in her monthly visit inside the stone to be tortured at the hands of Shya, and Alexa is not doing so great. She also has Willow begging her to turn him now that he is human and defenseless. When they discover a way to break Alexa’s curse and Kale volunteers to sacrifice his life for her freedom, things get even more strenuous.

In this book Trina does an excellent job once again. There are parts that are very tough, but she handles them like an expert. I cant wait to hear what happens next. Will Alexa be able to mend the bridge between her and Aris before they kill each other? Will Shaz be enough to stop them without being the official keystone? And will the three be able to stop the blood ring in Vegas once and for all? Gotta read the next one to find out!

Great read

Coda, a very fitting name.
To start if your new to the Alexa O’Brien series start with book one, you’ll thank me later.

The anticipation of what might occur (the strategic death of a very close friend and long time character) as teased in the previous book will have you on edge wondering, “will she (The author) really do it?”. Maybe she does or will she need to after all? How will it play out? Gotta read it to find out.

Many things change in this book for Alexa and Co., some draw to an end while others are just beginning. The action and realizations in this book touch all of the characters in a way that changes each of them in their own way.

It’s a great book and worthy of each of the 5 stars I am giving it.

Fml I cried

I stayed up until 5:15 to read and finish this book. I both loved and hated (mostly hated) this story. Ms. Lee has made me cry a few times within this series, but nothing like with this book. All I can say is that I felt every emotion for Kane, grief being the most profound. I know that Alexa loathes Falon, but she just needs to let that go and just enjoy what he does for her. Yes, he may be an addiction, but I don’t think he’s that bad. So glad the series is on kindle unlimited, now I’m able to catch up (from book 9) and my wallet isn’t depleted. :). Off to bed, I have book 14 waiting for me tomorrow.

Emotional

This book was by far the most emotional book of the series. I cried in every chapter. I did not want him to go.

Not only do we lose Kale but Jez has a hard time ahead for her. Arys and Alexa falling apart is heartbreaking. I love Shaz and his and Arys relationship is so refreshing, I hope it stays.

Why does Falon hate Alexa so much? I hope we get that answer in one of the remaining books. I do enjoy watching him fall for her, if that is what he is doing. I hope it's not all fake. I have a theory. A mate for her light side, Falon. A mate for her dark side, Arys. A mate for her wolf, Shaz. Maybe?

*sigh* All the emotions.

13 books! 13 books in to this amazingly wonderful series and I just keep getting blown away!
I knew some heartbreaking stuff was going to happen in this book, so I tried to brace myself for that. Didn't work! Trina loaded this story with a crap load!!! I'm not mad though I am all head f*&$#d.
I'm really excited to see how things work out for Jez and more excited to see if Alexa and Aris can keep it together. I really wish I could give a million stars. What an amazing read in Coda!

Sad yet hopeful

So sad about Kale, but by the end Alexa has a new mission that brings hope. Jez broke my heart, but she also found something to be hopeful about too. I look forward to seeing if Alexa can accomplish what she is set out to do in the next book. Some parts of the book may have been sad, yet it left on a good note. Let's not forget that Willow is also back and I really look forward to reading more about him and also how Fallon will work into all of this.

I liked Kale and for the most part about him he made me life of all the book and some parts he pissed me off. I have never in my life I have cried of what happened to Kale it was hard and very emotional to me. I think the Arthur did a very good job writing this book and I will recommend this book to a friend.

Talk about emotional, I bawled my eyes out. As usual this book was well written. I honestly believe this is one of the best books in this series. It is a definite must read, since there was so much that happened. Get comfortable, grab tissues and enjoy the ride.

Once again a great book! It did make me sad that Kale had to die, but I'm guessing there is a lot more to happen to everyone. So hurry up and write the next great adventure of the Queen of Light and Dark!

Coda

Omg!! This book was so emotional and it will tear your heart out. When changes are made and the need to end a curse, it is up to Alexa to make the hardest decisions she has ever had to make. Many will suffer from this loss especially Jez and Alexa.
Wow!!!

Absolutely overwhelming

This is by far the most heartbreaking 💔 wonderful book of the series. Love that in each book Alexa grows stronger and more into herself as a person and to be able to deal with the trials her journey takes her on.
