Lost Souls seems to be the author's first attempt at the MC world. It's a book about being lost and then found and reconnecting with people. The book doesn't just center around Raya and Ezra, but includes characters from the MC. Even though that's the case, you don't find yourself being lost in a crowd of characters.
This book contains the stereotypical storylines that you find in some MC books. Someone has a drug addiction? Check. Someone comes from an abusive home? Check. I don't have a problem in reading these storylines, but you have to make the strong. I feel that the author was getting close to having a strong storyline but fell back when it got a little intense. I also feel that there wasn't much character development. You are just introduced to the characters and then jump into the story. The only one you really get a backstory on is Raya. By not developing the characters, as a reader, you feel no connection to them. You're just reading a story that you're not emotional about.
The author also makes the mistake of cramming so much into one book. I think that it could have been a fantastic read if the story was broken down into multiple books. She has a good story to tell, it just doesn't need to be told all at once.
I'm not saying that the book was bad. I'm just saying that it had some flaws that keep it from being an awesome read. The author made a great attempt at this but it just fell short of being spectacular.

In general, the storyline was a good idea. But the timeline was SO LONG. I don't think I've ever read a book where the timeline stretched as far as this one does, especially in the choppy manner it was in. And how it got past editors is a wonder to me. Almost every paragraph has missing or needed punctuation. Sentences are continued or ended in the wrong spot. Honestly, that was beyond painful to read. I would suggest next time taking more time on the editing and not try to fit this large of a storyline in one spot. If you do, streamline it a bit.

Good read

I enjoyed the story. It's not your typical biker read. I hope to see more from this author. The editing could have been better
