William David Nugent witnessed more than he was supposed to see. Threatened with death or life imprisonment if he spoke up, he kept quiet for forty years. In 1921 he got tired of waiting for the press to fix history surrounding his good friend General George Custer's name. Writing a manuscript, outlining the truth of Little Big Horn, he attempted to publish his work to clear Custer's name and set history right. Finding cowards at every turn, he failed. No one would publish his work. No one would stand against the rich and powerful families that controlled our history. After his death, his great great great nephew Timothy Biswell promised William's daughter that he would get William's manuscript published. Over a hundred years has gone by and it is only today that the truth finally comes out. Tim took the manuscript to Author/Director Guy Lozier, asking Guy to help him correct our history and clear Custer's name. After researching for nearly a year, Guy wrote the story using William D. Nugent's manuscript along with even more information that he found. William could not have imagined what was really going on back then as the story was so much larger than the few things he had witnessed. Guy uncovered a conspiracy which went all the way to President Grant and his secret group of conspirators. Pushing all the way to the Supreme Court, the truth finally came out but still was swept under the carpet in modern times. The Supreme Court ordered the government to pay massive restitution to the relatives of those that President Grant and his secret group murdered and stole from. Custer was only fodder caught up in a much larger set of events.
Guy loves the life of small towns. He was born in 1962 in Oklahoma. Most of Guy's life was spent in small towns and small schools. As Guy got older he bought a book store propelling him into Fantasy Series Collections. Guy has read over 500 series novels in Fantasy as an avid reader over the years.
Guy ended up starting his own production and media companies which led him into writing more than he had experienced from his younger days. In his youth Guy attempted to publish works which found conflicts with his ideas and publishers who were over opinionated about what could actually happen in reality. With that in mind, Guy turned to Fantasy so that his imagination could create the worlds and dimensions that he found so entertaining in his own mind.
Guy's readers have proclaimed his writing as "Pure Genius" with complexity, imagination and twists to spare. Each wanting more of his worlds to experience. Guy took their reviews to heart and began to work in earnest to create what he experienced in his own mind, bringing to life worlds and creatures that have never been seen before.
Quote: "I hope you love my worlds as much as I have." Guy Lozier
I was drawn into this story with facts which I had never heard surrounding Custer. This story plays out like the "National Treasure" movies and then combines it with "Arrival" to blow your mind. I really enjoyed writing this book. It's an astounding story and a shocker that this could have even happened...
Assassinating Custer The Disclosure Files, Volume 1 By: Guy Lozier
This book is a bit conspiracy theory, sci-fi, historical fiction, with a little of true facts thrown in. I had hoped for more factual history, but when I let go of my
original expectations it became an adventure for me. I kept listening to see where this would end.
The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. Michael Kinzie's voice was pleasant to listen to.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
