Absolutely loved this book. I laughed, I cried, I smiled, I felt all the things. My parents told me about what they went through when they came to Canada and some of the people mentioned in the book has very similar experiences. The internment camps broke my heart. As a Canadian Italian I really appreciate this book and learning about my cultures history in Toronto. I will never forgot what my people have been through and how they overcame so much through resilience and hard work.
