Since coming into her birthright of being a seeker for the Grim Reaper, Ava has made countless missteps trying to protect her loved ones, only to have it all backfire. Now she finally has the chance to settle the score with Xavier, the source of much of her misery, but sometimes revenge isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Will she allow herself to take the vengeance she has thirsted for? Can she forgive herself if she doesn’t?
Even worse, her enemies are after Cole, who hasn’t forgiven her for leaving, and they’ll stop at nothing to find him.
Ava is tired of the corruption and lies. Most of all, she’s done hiding. This time, she’s ready to rid herself—and the world—of the twisted handler-seeker system...for good.

The final book in the Legacy series was as gripping as the first three. I really enjoyed the conclusion!
There were a few little things that stuck out to me which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. (SPOILERS AHEAD) I didn't really understand Ava's father's reaction to her telling him she was his daughter. Why deny it? Then I didn't get why Cole, pretty coldly, told Ava, when she was understandably upset, that she was overreacting - give her a minute, mate. Then Kyle. His significance seemed important in the story, like he was a big part of Cole's life, but he was barely there and they didn't seem to get on anyway. There often weren't even around each other. Just a few things that seemed odd, that's all.
Having said all that, I did really enjoy the series, and this final book. :) I liked that Ava and Cole got back together and (SPOILERS) that in the end, she got to buck the system and go to college like she deserves. I also like that the book ended on a somewhat unsure note of how she and Cole may or may not move out, but that they're able to stay with Bill for a while. That was nice. It was a bit of a shame that we started to get to know Chase and Claire, and like them, and then they weren't in the story that much, but that's okay.

Great way to end this series! Just wish this wasn't the last book. Loved Ava and Cole's story. Enjoyed the entire series! Read it, you won't want the story to end.
This is by far the best book in the series in my opinion. I like how Ava wasn’t immediately forgiven and the things she did weren’t forgotten because in reality, I probably wouldn’t have forgiven Ava if I was Shenice. I might have if I was Cole but again, maybe not. I wish Chase and Claire were more involved in this book and possibly even Kyle but it seems like a wasted opportunity to me. That could have been cool. Also I missed Bill.
But even though this isn’t my favourite series ever, I still enjoyed it. It did take me a while to get through the whole four books but it was a pretty easy read once I got into it.
This series was a good awakening into the possibilities for our futures. CHOICES. What it all comes down to in our human lives. Do you choose good or evil? Thinking what the final outcome would be should make it simple. I have always believed that hell is here on earth. I look forward to heaven.
Absolutely amazing series! However, the ending of book 4 felt rushed. Just as it picked up, it ended too quickly. Like a made-for-TV-movie; a pointless conclusion.
I really did enjoy the Legacy Series. Interesting characters, excellent plot, a page turner. I didn’t give it 5 stars because of the ending. Other than that, such cute book!
This book which is the last book in the legacy series is by far the best one yet. It had a lot more action going on which kept me interested. The series was definitely slow going for a while and picked up with the last book. Some of my lingering questions throughout the series were finally answered! I did enjoy it.
If your into any kind of fantasy/magic type books that take place in this day and age you will love this book! I’m usually into books that take place in a different time or a fake place but LOVED this series. Give it a try!
