A pragmatic little almanac of travel strategies, by a professional butler. From Toronto. Up to date, accurate information. I learned a few tips: don't take a cell phone photo of your passport (security issues), but take a photo of your luggage. Etiquette advice, tipping guidelines. My favourite bits are about eating etiquette in different countries. Much of what he advises is common sense and known. Still, nice to have it all wrapped up in a very portable little volume!

I read this as an ePub book on iPad. Extremely disappointed with the format. The pictures ended up obscuring the text through-out a lot of the book which ruined my enjoyment. The content itself was okay, but nothing extraordinary. Some helpful advice, but not really for the average traveller.

I don't understand the low rating on this book. I thought it was great with checklists and information on things you might not remember to think of when planning your next adventure. I highly recommend it to even the most seasoned traveler.

Most of suggestions are things we already do but some excellent tips on jet lag, packing, lists etc.
