Crown of Death #2

Crown of Blood

Rate this book
This is not the first time Logan has died. This is not the first time she has fallen in love with Cyrus. Logan is not even the first name she has been given.

Logan fell irreversibly in love with Cyrus, but she needs time to cope with the ramifications of his choice, one made thousands of years ago. She needs time alone to piece herself together. She has to face the woman who brought her into this immortal world. And the feeble attempt on Cyrus life doesn’t sit right with her. She wants answers—who tried to kill him and why?

Past sins are never easy to forgive, but as memories surface, staying away from Cyrus begins to feel impossible. There are a million reasons she’s fallen for him, over and over. Through everything, Cyrus has fought for her, death after death.

A love like this has never been seen before. And love has never been this complicated.

Keary, Keary, Keary - what are you trying to do to me?!?! I love you and hate you right now after reading this. LOL

OK - let me get my shit together and try not to give anything away in this review.

Crown of Blood is continuation from Crown of Death and is just as damn good. You must read that book in order to read this one or nothing will make any sense. There are characters from her other series (House of Royals) but you do not need to read any of their books to understand going on within these books.

Logan is awaking as Sevan, Cyrus' queen for for centuries. Sevan has lived many, many lives as different women while Cyrus has lived his long life searching for when Sevan will be resurrected, again. However, this time when Sevan returns, she is slightly different. Logan refuses to allow them to just return to life as if nothing is different - she has way too many questions and wants to understand everything. Certain things are not sitting with Logan and she wants answers.

Logan sends Cyrus home to Roter Himmel and she sets off on her own journey to clear her head. But along the way, Logan makes an unexpected stop at the House of Conrath, her birth mother's home. And it is here that sets Logan/Sevan on the path she never anticipated.

I want to say so much more but that will pretty much be telling you the whole story and giving away everything but the end. LOL Keary does an amazing job of building this story up. I love reading about things from the past and how things came to be as they are today. Keary is finally giving us the backstory on how Cyrus and his kingdom came to be. It is very interesting and it plays right into the plot of this book.

I will admit that for some, the way this reads will annoy a few because it's unclear whether we are in the past or present at times or whether it's Logan of Sevan talking because of how it is laid out. However, a few sentences into each chapter or break you figure it out and continue on with the story. It doesn't hurt the flow really, it just makes you stop for a second before moving on. For me, that wasn't a huge issue, but I know many would prefer that to be fleshed out better.

Overall, Keary does a fantastic job with continuing this saga and keeping us glued to our seats in anticipation of how this all plays out. I wasn't expecting the ending that we got and I am now even more curious to see what happens next in this series.

If you haven't started this series yet, I highly recommend it, especially if you are a PNR fan.

Logan Pierce has died eight times.

And each time, as she awakens, she remembers her original incarnation. She remembers her real name - Sevan. And she remembers Cyrus and what they are to each other.

Cyrus, King of all vampires, having brought Logan through her human death, prayed to his god that she would be his eternal love Sevan when she woke, for he has never kissed a woman other than his wife. And now she is. She remembers. And though Logan knows she loves Cyrus, she doesn’t know who Cyrus loves - Logan as she is now, or Sevan as she was? Logan feels two individuals inside of her, each warring for dominance. And until she can reach a peace between between each half, Logan knows she must keep clear of Cyrus, despite the intense loneliness he has suffered these centuries past.

Due to Cyrus’s curse, Sevan weakens, dies and is reincarnated into a different being who only remembers her life with Cyrus after she dies and re-awakens as a vampire. Over and over again, Cyrus and Sevan search for each other through the centuries, hoping to finally break the curse at last.

This book continues Logan and Cyrus’s story. I kid you not, I read the last 40 percent of the book with my jaw hanging open. I could not stop.

While Logan has only been getting glimpses of her previous lives, she eventually falls into a coma and they all come back to her. Every. Single. One. Together with Logan, you get to experience all of the hurt, betrayal, love, and sacrifice she’s lived (and died). We also see how Sevan and Cyrus began, thousands of years ago. Their love is one for the ages.

But this book really focuses on Logan. After awakening from her mortal death, Logan tells Cyrus she needs time away to wrap up some issues and get her head on straight. From here, Cyrus’s presence only comes through as texts on Logan’s cell. Logan keeps her objectives clear and doesn’t let up on digging into her past in an effort to recognize herself again.

I adore Cyrus. And I was devastated by the end of the book.

I’m hoping that a miracle occurs in book three.

Because I just can’t even.

I'm a bit disappointed in this book... Why you ask? Because when I started this book it pick up where the last book left off which was great! But some how in the middle of the book the author went left.. Now some people may like it when an author tends to go backwards and forwards from the present to the past but I'm not that kinda of girl.. I got the gist of it all in the first book of her past with our hero and I didn't need more of it. It to me seem a bit redundant.

Anyway it seems like at the very end the book it got good again and then she freakin left me with a damn cliffhanger!!!! I'm so pissed!!! Now don't get me wrong when book 3 is release I will be reading it ASAP... But not cool Keary... Not cool at all..

Because of that damn cliffhanger and the back and forth between the present and past this book loses points in its rating.

2.5 STARS

The first book in this series indicated that this may be a series worth continuing “if” the author could do the star crossed lovers/past lives trope well.

Well I’m here to tell you it was NOT done well at all.

I actually feel so bad for Logan. She’s gone. As soon as she wakes as a vampire she’s Sevan with a distant echo of Logan. I thought and hoped that Logan would still be Logan just with distant memories of her past lives.

But no.

She literally dissolves into her own mind and becomes Sevan almost completely.

I. Did. Not. Like. This. At. All.

This is why I hate past lives/star crossed love/reincarnation plots. It’s rarely done correctly. I want Cyrus to want Logan FOR LOGAN. Poor Logan got pushed out of her own body by almost what feels like an invading personality (Sevan) and is in love with a man who only wants her because she houses his dead wife’s soul.

So for the ENTIRE book we get this weird multiple personality back and forth between Logan-Sevan with Sevan being the dominate personality... it was weird and just... disappointing.

For a few moments there, I lost Logan. She slipped into the shadows of all the others I have been. For just a moment, I was just a simple person who just lived one life. -Sevan

It was just written as if they were two different people in one body.

Alone.
Aching.
Both of us.
Both of you are hurting, Logan argues with Sevan. Damn it. You don’t have to do this. We don’t have to be alone.

This is literally internal monologue Sevan is having with Logan. See... it’s like Sevan took completely over and Logan is the “voice” that pops up in her head.

Like why would Logan even want to be with Cyrus anyways? He literally wouldn’t care about her at all if she didn’t house his wife’s soul. He may have started to care for her before she turned but let’s be honest, he’d rip Logan’s head off if it meant he could have his Sevan back.

Lol isn’t it bad I’m all team Logan when Logan-Sevan are literally the same person?!

This book drove me crazy.

Plus my main man Cyrus is practically non-existent in this one. He’s in like the first chapter and that’s it.

Also,

The plot was boring. Literally nothing happens. Just Logan-Sevan whining and trying to remember all her past lives.

And let me just say I could really give two shits about her past lives. Like, I didn’t care at all. So I really didn’t appreciate that almost the whole last half of the book was Logan-Sevan in a coma like trance for DAYS remembering all her past lives.

I just found it boring.

I had already decided not to continue this series before I got to the end. I just couldn’t take the way Logan had been completely erased and replaced by Sevan.

But then there was that cliffhanger.

What. The. Fuck.

So I’m kind of curious how this plays out. But I don’t really care for the Sevan-Logan back and forth so I’m not sure if I can stomach another book with Logan completely erased by her own soul (Sevan).

We’ll see.

Which is the real one? Who the hell am I? Logan Pierce? Or Sevan?

(EDIT: Apparently the Logan-Sevan personality thing continues through the entire series. And the series ends that way. My book friends have mentioned that at the finish of the series when it is all done and over with that they STILL found it awkward between the Logan-Sevan thing and found it unsatisfying. So I won’t be continuing this series.)

I’m left speechless after finishing this book, all I can say is, wow. The author has outdone herself with this story. I don’t want to say too much for fear of giving something away. I do highly recommend reading Crown of Death (Book 1) first to full appreciate this story and have a better understanding of what is going on. I do recommend all the books in this series, they are all great. I look forward to reading what happens next.

I received a copy of this book from the author, my review has been voluntarily submitted.

AUDIBLE EDITION!! NARRATION WAS OKAY!!

At the end of bk.1 / part 1 "Crown of Death" Logan Pierce/Sevan has been killed! Story ends on a Cliffhanger. The beginning of Part 2 "Crown of Blood" Logan wakes after 4 days of being dead. Logan Has been resurrected as a vampire and reincarnated. This will be Logan/Sevan's 8th life cycle.

The entire story is about Logan remember her different lives with her husband Cyrus. She is with Cyrus her husband in all her previous lives. But she remembers being Sevan and many other names.

There are too many characters in this story to keep up with. I also, wished she had been with Cyrus during her time of remembering all her different lives. It would have made the story more romantic. It felt cold. No Love No Passion. Just remembering. Logan does get to meet her birth mother from this cycle of life.

The story also, ends with a BIG CLIFFHANGER!! I won't be purchasing the Crown of Ruin part 3 on audible. I will get it free on Kindle Unlimited. If Cyrus is truly dead after many millenniums of being immortal, then what's the point of the whole story!!

Narrator is not very good at creating different voices for the characters!!

Well, I probably shouldn't have bought this, since resurrection/reincarnation is probably my least favourite theme for books. I skipped pretty much 30% of this book about the half way stage when it went back in time to her meeting Cyrus and a shortened version of their life. I just didn't care by then. I wanted more LOGAN and Cyrus, and instead she couldn't decide if she was Logan or Sevan or a bit of both, or even the other six people she'd been previously, and I just started to lose interest. Add in that Cyrus wasn't even in half the book and I was done.

I won't be continuing the series.

Holy COW!!!!!

BEST BOOK EVER by Ms. Taylor!! But Keep some Tissues on hand just in case!

Continuation of Crown of Death, which is also continuing after the House of Royal Series. You definitely will want to read Crown of Death before reading this book. You don't necessarily have to read the others, although I highly, Highly suggest it! You get a better connection and build up with so many of the different characters who are involved in this installment.

Logan has just died, but it's not her first death. Logan is Sevan. She's died several times, each time reawakening to a new face and a new life. Logan isn't just Logan, she's been several different women over thousands of years. However, this time things are different. She's not sure exactly why, so she goes on her own journey to figure that out.

Logan has fallen for King Cyrus and needs some time to sort through things before she just gives into how he wants things to play out. She sends him away and goes out on her own to figure herself, her past, and her future out. She ends up meeting some expected and some unexpected people along the way. As her journey plays out she learns more and more about herself and her past lives.

There are times when Logan is in control and other times when Sevan is in control. Sometimes it takes a minute to realize that it switched and it's a different character talking, but if you pay attention you catch on quicker and quicker and can tell the difference faster each time. The two women are similar in so many ways yet both very strong individuals at the same time.

This story made me fall more in love with King Cyrus and who he is. He may be a monster in so many ways. Yet he is also an incredibly romantic, kind, generous, deeply in love with his wife, type of man that can make the right woman swoon at the thought of him existing. The ending of this book was by far the hardest Cliff Hanger I've ever read. I've never sat this far out on the very edge of my seat for the next part of a story to be released! (I'm craving the next book worse then I crave chocolate when pregnant!)

Ms. Taylor is by far at the very top of my list of Favorite Contemporary Authors! As a friend and I were discussing the Blood Descendants Universe the other day, we agreed on one common thing. She knows how to take a story and make it seem truly alive, attainable in a way, like it could be and should be in the non-fiction section, and basically part of reality it's so believable! Can't wait for the next book!

OMG! OMG! OMG!

I’m screaming! That ending cliffhanger! Whaaaaat the Heck! I Need More! This was soooo good! I’m completely hooked! The story this author spins is truly incredible! It has me on the edge of my seat with anticipation! I love Logan/Sevan! She’s the ultimate female lead! Everything she has experienced, all her past lives have come back to her and it’s truly something. I’m so captivated by her past and their relationship. I knew something was going to be weird about that life no one else could remember but I wasn’t expecting this! I’m dying for the next book!

Well this was different! I still don't care much for Cyrus but Sevan's history is fascinating and hard to ignore. The majority of my rating hinged on those chapters spent away from this century.

It was a constant guessing game as we watched Sevan and Logan switch between situations and conversations. For a girl who grew up in a loving home, I still can't understand why she's so angry all the time. Dying and resurrecting eight times? I totally understand Sevan's anger.

We have always gotten Cyrus side of the stories but it was refereshing after so many novels to get another side and to see that it wasn't always butterflies and sunshine.

The time taken, over what would be considered a sleep cycle, we saw not only the history of the vampires but the epic love story that is Sevan and Cyrus. In a simpler time when women were traded for sheep and a person had to die for physicians to figure out what killed them and how to stop it from happening to another. So much history and detail at just the right time.

There were a few inconsistencies with the present, like I could have sworn Smith died in Boston and I had hoped Logan would have gotten to meet her mother as a human and maybe even Henry. I still don't understand why everyone is so hard on Alivia and it's sad to know that Ian is the same after all these years.

Quite possibly the best novel since this series began and I reckon the next will be just as exciting. Maybe we will finally learn the name of the son who actually made everything that Cyrus and Sevan covet. Maybe he's still alive somehow. Who knows? All I know is that Court is about to be shaken up!

Preview Thoughts (Chapters 1-3):
This second installment picks up right where the first left off. The opening chapters of Crown of Blood felt a little Twilight-esque in tone, largely due to the protagonist's "change" and the internal dialogue of getting their head straight. It’s a reminder that Logan is still in their early twenties. However, the duality of their new nature is intriguing, and I was eager to see how this aspect would unfold as the story progressed.

Final Review:
While the Twilight comparison lingered, Crown of Blood distinguishes itself through its exploration of Cyrus and Sevan's history. The slow pace allowed for a deeper understanding of Cyrus's character and the complex journey that shaped him into who he is today.

The added focus on the born and royals as well as Logan mother’s backstory helped enrich the overarching narrative, offering more context for why this particular lifetime feels so pivotal. The book’s exploration of the protagonist’s many matriarchal lifetimes and the evolving roles of women in these societies introduced an intriguing concept. However, it felt underdeveloped, leaving room for further exploration in future installments.

Final Thoughts:
Crown of Blood is a solid continuation of the series, with a focus on character development and world-building. While the pacing might feel slow at times, the depth added to key characters and backstories makes it a worthwhile read for fans of the series.

Rating: ★★★☆☆(3/5)

Crown of Blood is the second in a series, I'd recommend reading the first just so you know a little about the characters in here. It's the follow on series from House of Royals which isn't required but will help a lot.

I'm going to be honest here and say I struggled a little with this in the beginning but because I like some of the characters and the world that's been created I stuck with it and I'm glad I did. There may be a few spoilers from here on so don't read on if you don't want to be spoiled.

I liked seeing Sevan's past lives, although I did find the almost constant jumping around hard to follow. Was I with Logan now? Was I with Seven in a past life? I know why it was done that way but it was a little confusing and more than once I had to go back to check if I'd missed a chapter start or something or if I was missing something somewhere. It was good though to learn more about Sevan and who she is and not have the whole book centred again on Cyrus and her and their 'fated' relationship. I liked getting to know Sevan, it was refreshing.

It was good to see Rath, Alivia and Ian again, and I will confess I don't know why Ian gets a lot of hate, I always liked the guy and I could see his way of thinking (apparently this is just me though). Nice twist with the brother, and then that ending. Oh boy. Talk about a cliffhanger. When's the next one out?

Woot Woot! Loved this one. At times I found Logan to be a bit annoying, but I loved Sevan. However, the main thing that really drew me into this book was the flashbacks to her previous lives.

description

I loved every second between Sevan and Cyrus! How they met and how they came to be what they were! It was something I was dreaming she would write and it did not disappoint. We got little bits of her other lives, but I would love even more. Logan can be annoying at times, but I love when she takes control and is Sevan. I hate the whole inner turmoil she goes through about being both Sevan and Logan. Just get over it! Also, I am glad that we get to see how annoying Ian is in this. He was the main reason I didn't wan to finish reading the other series.

SPOILERS >>>>>>>>>>>>

Lets just get this out of the way. There is no way Cyrus is dead. I don't believe it for a second. He will come back someway, but it was disappointing they didn't get this amazing reunion. Oh well, we will have to wait for the next book. Hopefully by then Logan/Sevan will have figured out her whole inner turmoil about being many different people.

One thing about Ms. Taylor that I must state upfront is that she can definitely write a book. We are at the second book in this series, and I feel so much like I know all of these characters. Yes, most of them were in the other two series associated with this one, but I feel like they are all family at this point. I know how they will react, I know their strengths and weaknesses, and I adore every one of them. I must say none more than Cyrus. Yes, I said it. Cyrus. He definitely is a cruel man, but he just breaks my heart in this one. I went from hating him in one series to him being my favorite character in this series. That is the mark of a great author. And, yes, the plot is great, too…and that ending just blew me away! At the end I was like, when is the next one coming, because it’ll have to be a dozy to get out of this!! I am on the edge of my seat, anxiously awaiting the next book because of…well, I really can’t say, but I wish I could. Rest assured, this is a great addition to the series, and the overall series as a whole, if not the best one so far! I can’t recommend this book enough! I was provided the e-book which I reviewed voluntarily.

This was SO GOOD. I am so unbelievably happy that I didn’t give up with this universe when reading the first two series’. This series has more than made up for everything I didn’t like about the other two. It has a slightly more dark romance theme to it (it’s definitely not dark romance though), which I love. I love Cyrus so much and I have Seinfeld be first showed up the very first time in Alivia’s books (and I never forgave her for what she did to him and I think she got what she deserved 🤷🏻‍♀️, she’s one of my least favorite characters out of any book I’ve ever read). I really like Logan as well. I love all of these flashbacks from her past lives as Sevan and the other girls. I especially loved the Sevan flashbacks because I loved seeing Cyrus as he was before. I do prefer Logan over Sevan even though they seem similar; there are just a few little differences that I’ve noticed and didn’t really like. I knew something was going to happen at the end obviously but that ending blew my mind. I’m in love with this series.

I'm officially dead. I ADORE this series, like literally adore it.
Keary has gone and done it again. I usually hate second books because they always feel like a filler book for the last one in a series but this one was fantastic. We join book two right from where book one ends and Logan is on fire!

- the character development for Logan in this book was great. I love reading about the inner battle she has with not only herself but her relationship with Cyrus and trying to differentiate between all of the people she has been in her other lives.
- I wished we got more from Cryus in this book but I understood that this book was about Logan finding out who she is and where she belongs.
- I think the plot was a lot better in this book. I liked the meeting she had with her mom and I think that the way Keary explored how new Logan is to the world verses how everybody sees her was great.

I would 100000% recommend!

.... Just ok

After the awesomeness of the previous book, Crown of Death, I couldn't help but feel a bit underwhelmed by this book, Crown of Blood. It was a lot of exposition & backstory that I feel could have easily been condensed. While it was neat to see Logan reunite with Alivia, I feel that it could've been a side story rather than the main event. And although it was kind of fun to read about how Cyrus & Sevan met, & how Sevan Cameron be resurrected. So, there was worthwhile content, it was just slow pacing & almost no action. And then that wicked cliff-hanger ending!! All I can say is there better be some mistake because Cyrus & Sevan are asically my OTP at this point, & it was already bogus that we had to go almost entirely without him in this book. So right now I'm a little on the fence with this one... While I like Logan\Sevan & find her past lives quite interesting, Cyrus is the driving force for me - without him I am going to be one disappointed reader.

A Lot Of The Queens Past Lives.👑
Pretty Darn Boring.😔😡
(Read Using Kindle Unlimited)
Queen of Ruin (Crown Of Death, book 2)

I have to admit, I found this quite disappointing compared to book 1.
I expected Logan to want to meet her mother, its understandable. I could even understand her withdrawal from Cyrus straight away. What didn't make sense to me, was it taking an entire book to get to seeing the past lives that made her pull away!🙄 We finally got Sevan's, Cyrus' first wife's, life as seen through a type vision given to Logan, but it was in the late 20's in chapters!😳

I felt the majority of this book was pointless, it didn't drive the story forward in any way. It probably could've been condensed down to a about 12 chapters and then we could have been given another storyline to follow.🙈

The ending was saddening and shocking.😭
I'm dreading the next book being a big disappointment too, fingers crossed it's not!🙏👑

There was too much I didn't like with this book.
To sum it up, this read like a primetime tv soap opera (e.g. The Originals or Vampire Diaries); and while I like watching those shows, I don't like reading those storylines.

As for the main characters, Cyrus was a mix of Mr. Freeze (from Batman) and Victor Frankenstein; and both Logan and Sevan were naive, inexperienced women who fell too easily for Cyrus and enabled too much of his unhealthy behaviours. I didn't feel the love here; but rather I felt the naivety on one end and the obsession on the other end.

Last, the drama with the Houses had me more wary than excited for what's to come because the character arcs grew to be convoluted and dramatic when -with all the previous scheming, I was hoping they'd be methodical and cunning.

However one good thing I liked was that the heroine was no wilting violet; and she didn't balk at the idea of necessary violence. For this type of story, I really appreciated that.

Oh how I love Logan.
She’s sassy and opinionated but sensitive and sweet too.
I’m loving this new series!!!!

We get a lot of back story into Sevan and her past lives, and we get the full story of how her and Cyrus met and fell in love. We learn the sorrow and cruelty of how she has to die, over and over again. We learn about Cyrus’s obsession with learning and how he came about the “cure” that caused the vampire race.
I loved the amount of back story and information we are given, it really introduces us to Sevan properly.

I found myself stuck to my phone, not able to put it down and sleep, and cursed having to work because I just wanted to read!!!!

As is normal keary fashion, the ending leaves you gasping for more, and omg the ending.

I actually yelled out. What am ending!!!
Anxiously anticipating book three.

Wtf. Okay so this is actually very promising. The author is working very well with the plot. I was afraid she was going to basically erase Logan and make svana take over, but no! She took this entire book to work through the complexity of the situation, which I think was called for. If she would have done it in a simpler way, I think It would have fallen flat.
What a turn of events! I cannot wait to see how they finally end the circle of the infinite curse they have been living in. I hope Cyrus resurrects. I think it would be a good idea, for them to shed their pasts, both of them. Because, let's face it, they are just little cowards who have to learn to move on and understand that shit happens, just like everyone has to learn that. The only difference is that normal people don't have a cure of death to run away from their problems.

Spoiled

Book 2 is as bad as book 1 was good. I only made to chapter 9, when I simply could not waste any more of my time. The reader is forced to purchase book 2 because book 1 ended with a cliffhanger. Will Logan be resurrected and rise as a queen? Before her death, she is hyped, ready to fight for her love. But she rose with bitch pills flying everywhere and pushing away the man that’s supposed to be live with. Teen brother followed you because he knew that something wasn’t right with your boyfriend, BS. He had at least a week to tell you his suspicions before the resurrection. How did he travel to Vegas? He had his phone on, so why didn’t the police or parents track him? I’m queen. I’m a bad ass? I’m lonely? I’m confused? Girl bye

The story is dragging with an uninteresting plot and unlikeable heroine. I’m done

The plot thickens

Do you know what I love about this, the story. It so simple but really engaging. Yes there's multitudes of characters but wisely it concentrates on the main ones. So Logan is a vampire but needs to find herself and the many lives she has lived to become Logan but also them.
Cyrus is desperate to have his love back but accepts she needs time to compile her lives to be whole.
Logan's journey begins to discover the past and her place in this new world.

It's entertaining and engaging, the writing is delightful and easy to follow.
It's better than some vampire stories out there for sure and even though I had no clue when I started the first book what I was in for, I'm glad because it's pure escapism. I'm invested enough to continue.

I've said it before, but I'm forgiving myself for the redundancy, because she keeps proving it to be true: Keary Taylor knows how to tell a story. She knows how to build a believable fantastical world. And in this latest addition to her Blood Descendants Universe, her talent for writing historical fiction steps onto the stage and takes a well-deserved bow. Keary Taylor can tell a backstory, too. The Universe she's woven for her readers is full and complex, as are her characters. They get under your skin and into your memory. Waiting for the next book will try my patience, but I'm willing to wait, because I know, without a doubt, it will be great.

No..... Just not at all acceptable!!! What has Ms. Taylor done?! That ending.... it simply cannot be!! I'm desperately in need of the next book. Because honestly I am utterly wrecked and ruined! I gave my heart to this series. and it's been savagely crushed..... It was brilliant and sentimentality beautiful to read of the love and lives of Sevan. Cyrus is both a hero and a monster... he's so utterly romantic and protective and hopeful to all things that are his wife. I really believe that this was the best yet of Ms. Taylor's writing. Waiting for more as I somehow manage to keep hoping for a happily ever after ♡♡♡♡

Wow what a read, slightly confusing as it goes back and forth but we get the glimpse we need to learn about Cyrus and Sevan, all the lives she’s lived and what’s coming next. Logan has a lot going on and is doing it on her own, trying to find herself among the other lives she’s lived but what happens when a plan finally comes to light and your heart was too late?
Great story and plot, characters are great, loads of angst, not much in the loving department but that’s the journey our main characters must take. A highly shocking story end, which leads me to moving swiftly on, highly recommend, I can’t wait to see how Logan reacts and what she does next!!
