Lee Will Cheer, the third book in the Lee Corcoran series, follows Lee Corcoran, a junior boy in high school whose life is not going as planned.
In the first book, Boy for the Cheer, Lee became involved in a girls cheerleading program where he was reluctantly introduced to crossdressing. Lee finds that he enjoys the softer side of clothing. Circumstances seem to be forcing Lee to wear a feminine wardrobe in more situations. His freshman summer stole any attempt at masculinity.
In the second book, Boy Can Cheer, Lee’s choices in clothing and long hair lead to more complications in his life. Lee enters the dating scene and begins exploration of the relationships between boys and girls while finding himself further immersed in the cheerleading program. When one of the competition cheerleaders got injured only a week before the regional competition, Lee was forced to step in and replace the injured girl because he knew and could perform all the programs. It was the most satisfying and exciting event of his life.
Darby, his best friend, is now fully aware of Lee’s feminine wardrobe. His girlfriend Marti was pushed to the limits when he began showing up at the local pool in a bikini. Eventually, that led to their breakup.
Now, in his third year of high school, Lee will be drawn even further into the cheerleading program. He will be further immersed in femininity and he will again re-enter the dating fray. As he and his friends achieve new milestones in their young lives, Lee will continue to live on the softer side of life. What happens when Lee goes out of town and encounters new people?
Every crossdresser has their own story of how their fetish developed. They also have a personal story on how they integrate crossdressing into their life. This story deals with a reluctant crossdresser who tries not to sacrifice his manhood while enjoying his unusual choice in clothing.
This story is a continuation of Boy Can Cheer and many of the characters may be better understood if you have read the first two installments.
This book tries to deal with cross-dressing as part of a real life. In many ways, Lee has a life many real-world cross-dressers only dream of.
Given the ages of the characters, the story does not involve explicit sex. Some readers have classified it as PG. Young adult readers should be comfortable reading this book.
**********
The Cheerleader series follows Lee Corcoran as he grows, matures, and experiences life from pre-high school through college. The main characters in this story will be recurring in other installments in the series.
This book is absolutely amazing. In fact, the entire series is. And unlike in most series, the books don't get repetitive and there are always new situations happening to enjoy and read about. Barring this latest book which just came out, I have read each book in this series two or more times.
Basically this series is the story about two extraordinary good best friends and next door neighbors who met when they were seven. The series focuses on how the two of them in high school create a competitive cheer leading team that wins at national's in just four years. This accomplishment is mixed in with playing baseball, making friends, being lifeguards, dating, running a kids fitness camp, sleepovers, enjoying family life, modelling for magazines and so on. Despite all of these accomplishments, the series primarily focuses on what it is like to have good friends, a good family and to do the right thing in life.
Please note that while the books in the series form one continuous story they can be read as stand-alone novels because the author thoroughly covers the background story at the beginning of each book. Of course, this means that after I've read each new book as they are published I have wound up waiting impatiently for the next book to come out.
Note: This review covers the first six books in the series.
With my other two reviews, I read this as Mary Sue Wish Fulfillment. I stopped reading it. I won't be continuing with the series. I hope you enjoy them.
