A beautiful, small publication about a contemplative body of work. The visual culture that Ellen Gallagher produces relies on repetition to create discomfort. A harmony reveals itself amidst this discomfort.

Book about Ellen Gallagher and her art....
-Patterned works that create the look of abstraction until they are further examined, and then one notices the components that actually make up the abstraction.
-Inspiration to move forward with abstract work and the realization that the abstract forms can be more than just that.
