The Sable Inn #3

Kindred Flames

Rate this book
Cam Nelson moved to Grayling for a purpose. The town had everything that he required to start his new life as a Certified Organic farmer. Now, Cam’s life is full with his two nieces and the business he runs, but when he’s put in close proximity to Miss Lena Sable, he realizes that she is the one part of his purpose, that he didn’t realize, he was missing. Lena Sable is the last of the unmarried Sable sisters with no immediate plans to change that status. The middle sister, Lena holds the position of Marketing Director at the family Inn. She is known for her fire and doesn’t back down easily. Cam Nelson is the one man who matches Lena’s fire, and when the two come together, their Kindred Flames burn out of control, creating a bond, that neither expected.

I'm D. Camille and I am an avid reader and author. I started reading romance books when I was thirteen and since then I've read hundreds. I wanted to write a series that contained the culture and history of the African and African American people.

I like to utilize historical information, science and ancient beliefs. I write for people to enjoy, think, analyze and learn; not only about the characters but hopefully also about themselves. I love to hear from my readers. Write me and tell me about your favorite characters and what you love about them. Me, I love all of them...they came from my heart.

Ase! (so let it be)

Lena and Cam’s love story is my favorite of the three Sable sisters’ stories. KINDRED FLAMES was an engaging and compelling story. Cam was the perfect mate for Lena. I loved the flow of the storyline, the important and timely information that prolific author D Camille successfully weaves into the storyline, the emphasis on family, and the reappearance of a character who is still championing the causes of Black people. All of these elements and more provided an entertaining, educational and emotional story that I guarantee you will enjoy. KINDRED FLAMES is highly recommended for your reading pleasure.

Love those Sables!

What can I say, D Camille does it again. This was my favorite in the sable series. They all were good, but Cam and Lena just captured me from the beginning. Their chemistry was off the chain. I hope Max and Tiffany get together, because they seem like they have some chemistry too. So glad Lavender and Lloyd finally got married, it's about time. I can't wait for the book club series, I wonder who is going to get with Nadia, because she is a trip. I love this author, and anytime she puts out a book, I just one click, because I know it's gonna be good. Love you D Camille, keep up the amazing work!!!

This Book Is Fire🔥🔥

Cam was the perfect man just for Lena and her strong willed personality. I love how he told her to choose her battles and would ask her was something a battle for her. He embraced who she was but also didn't allow her to use her strong arm to make him do what she wanted him to do. His flames burned down all her walls so that her flame could unite with his to create a combustible explosion. I loved this whole series and I can't wait to read what happens next with the Book Club Series😍😍

Loved it, A bit on the begging side for Lena or just down right Boss I get telling him what you want, but it was almost like begging after a minute give him time to do what he going to do. Love the real world stuff. I think I read this book in two days. The ninety day rule that Steve Harvey talks about just went out the window with Ms. Lena, but I ain’t mad at her I had to go there myself one time. (Only one time) Can’t make that a habit at all.
On to the next one love all your book truly not disappointed at all.

Amazing Book!

Cam is definitely the man. A scientist in food chemistry. Real knowledge was dropped in this book and our nutritional needs, habits and how it is offrered in diverse populations. Wow! His love and understanding for Lena which led to watching her change her mind on love, relationships, marriage and creating her own family. Its always great plus to catch up on past characters who intergrate and inspire even more.

Kindred Flames

Lena and Cam’s story was my absolute favorite book of the series. The title Kindred Flames most definitely lived up to it’s name. So happy to see Lena open her heart to love. Not only were the main characters great, but the secondary characters played a huge part in the storyline too.

Kindred Flames gave us information about marketing, nutrition and farming. Thanks D. Camille for giving another family to fall in love with. Can’t wait to read the Book Club series.

Kindred Flames Is Great!!!

I really enjoyed Lena and Cam's story. Lena was determined not to fall in love but Cam came along and changed all of that. Their chemistry, the humor and the secondary characters makes this book a must-read. I'm happy that the Book Club members will have their own stories and I can't wait to read them. Good job once again!!!

Wow

This series was so good. I’m looking forward to the book club series. Willie needs his own story him and Jackie. I mean like he is hilarious in every book. I’m happy Lena was able to move passed the hurt and pain of her mothers passing and accepting love when it rescued her. And yessss finally Mr. Lloyd and Lavender tie that.

The last of the Sable sister reads did not disappoint! It was "strong willed" vs "pick your battles". Cam and Lena were a match meant to be and D. Camille stayed on point in the development of her characters and gave a few surprises. Now it is time for me to read about those Book Club ladies!

Kindred Flames is the third installment of the Sable Series. Lena Sable, Marking Director of the Sable Inn in Grayling, Michigan and Cam Nelson, food Scientist turned Organic Farmer, what a combination but this couple chemistry just jump right off the pages.

Each Sable are alike but different, two of the sister was looking for the ever after like their father had with their mother, but Lena was scared to put her heart and trust out there to fall so deeply in love that it hurt. After seeing how their father was suffering after their mother pass, Lena has made up her mind that she didn’t’ want to fall in. Little did she know that she had already met the man she was going to fall in love with. Hay ride, Hot Chocolate and two little girls and Cam change all of that for Lena.

Without knowing Cam background, you would think that he is organic farmer, you know that saying “Don’t Judge A Book By It Cover” the same can be said about people. Cam is science nerd turned organic farmer along with his brother. Cam also move to Grayling to help his brother raise he two daughters, you will absolutely fall in love with them.

The turning point for Cam & Lena relationship is when that went to Chicago for three days for a convention. You learn so much in this book farming and how hard it is for the few black farmers out there that they have to work twice as hard. During this convention Lena also learn more about different ways to Market their Inn, you also got to see a different side to Lena & Cam and boy when they are together it was Hot Up In There. The fire that had for each other took forever for the FLAMES to die down.

As always with a D Camille book you will find humor, romance, family, culture and some suspense, but it well worth reading her book. The supporting characters who directly kept the storyline going. Can’t wait for these Sable sisters have them SABLE BABIES. I recommend this book.
