Fast paced good action. Like Rika's growth

Rika war continues
Rika having rescued Tanis, is offered a major upgrade to her forces and equipment. But Rika is only a captain, and there is others that expect to be the new leaders of the marauders. But Tanis wants Rika to be the one in command. With her help Rika is promoted and give command of a battalion of mechs and give a task which most didn't think she has the experience to succeed. But Rika and her forces proved to be a great success.

Author M.D. Cooper brings us Rika's next adventure but it should be noted that this book picks up right after the Orion War book 5 Attack on Thebes. A book which I have but have yet to read. But Rika and Admiral Tanis Richards get close since she brought her back from an attack that was happening at the end of Rika's last book. Rika also changes a lot during this book to the point where she is now a Colonel and has undergone major changes in her mech armer thanks to Tanis and her people. And her first assignment after reviving the upgrades is to go kick the Nites out of one their ally systems. This is a great book and yes it had spoilers for the Perseus Gate series too but I am looking forward to reading Rika's next adventure.

Following immediately on from the events of Attack on Thebes, a strong story that covers the aftermath of events in the system. It was cool to see Tanis through Rika's eyes, especially after what occurred in Attack on Thebes, and also following Rika's viewpoint allowed us to see a bit more detail of the Search and Rescue operations that occur after a big battle, that we don't typically see in the main series. Intriguing finish at the end as well, raising a few interesting questions, but good to see Rika's continual growth.

Rika makes ME want to be a mech!
Cooper and the writers of the Aeon 14 Universe have been giving us one amazing novel after another but none of the other secondary storylines have a main protagonist of Rika's quality. She is the only one who can match Tanis herself for movie and heroism. Rika Commander is a tribute to what good authors can do with a character like Rika. I loved every minute of the story. The only sad thing about finishing the story is the wait for the next one! Well done!

How do I do this without doing spoilers , I'm not sure how to except to say that Rika shall be a better Person/ Mech from her meeting with Tanis as will the Marauders.
M . Cooper managed to do it all , he added emotional bits, action and of course his usual flair for surprises and character development.
Suffice to say you wont want to put this book down and if you didn't have Rika as one of your favourites in the Aeon 14 universe then you will be after this.

Five out of five stars, this book deserves it.
Next to tennis Rica is my next favorite character. This book was excellent. Could find no fault anyone who likes Max and the ER and 14 universe will enjoy this book. It was great seeing her interaction with tennis Richard. Would like to see more. Book is fast-paced full of action no dead spots waiting for the next one.

A good story. Well worth your time. If you're following Rikka her successes earn her the rank of Colonel. She has .more responsibility but she still gets into the thick of the fighting.

I'm a huge fan of the Rika series and this one didn't disappoint. I also love the Aeon 14 universe of Tanis Richards and the crossover was very seamless and well-written. I'm going to work my way into several other works by Ms. Cooper as I'm enjoying the stories quite a bit.

Well I think this is another beautiful story. Rika ups her game and decides it is time to do some K.A.T.N. in space, with just a little help from Tanis and her people of course. I am so looking forward to reading the next book. 😎

Love it!
Great new addition to rikas tale. Lots of action and a great storyline. Even had a tanis cameo! Doesn't get any better than this author. Fully invested in his universe.

Too short
I enjoy most of Mr. Coopers books, but they’re getting shorter and there’s less and less substance to the stories with each that comes out.

Rika at her best. Cooper does it agian.
Fast paced and action packed. A good continuation of the story. Read them all to follow the characters through their exciting adventures.

What?
The way Rika is shaping up makes you want the next one in line. Haven't had this much fun reading in a long time. Haven't turned my tv on in over a month because these are better.
