About the author

胡波（1988年7月20日-2017年10月12日），笔名胡迁，出生于山东省济南市，中国内地作家、导演、编剧，毕业于北京电影学院导演系。
2014年，胡波开始在ONE等平台发表自己的短篇小说作品。2015年，凭借短片《远隔的父亲》获得第5届金考拉电影节最佳导演奖 ；同年，创作了长篇小说《牛蛙》 。2016年，凭借中短篇小说《大裂》获得了台湾第6届世界华文电影小说奖首奖 。2017年10月12日，胡波自缢身亡，年仅29岁 。2018年，凭借遗作《大象席地而坐》获得第55届台湾电影金马奖最佳剧情片奖、最佳改编剧本奖 ，入围最佳新导演奖。

弃。读了近三分之一后决定放弃了，怎么说呢，故事本身已经没法产生让我继续读下去的愿望，即使豆瓣短评里好几条说到结尾出乎意料，也无法让我提起兴趣。叙事和语言风格方面，我读过作者的《大裂》，当时就不很喜欢，觉得太阴郁了，而这本《牛蛙》从环境描写到人物对话，充满着一种潮湿黏腻和灰暗的感觉，就像牛蛙黏糊糊的表皮和满是霉味且灯光昏暗的旅馆房间，读起来很不好受。

i'd lke this book a lot more if i could read
