His Baby's Keeper

Rate this book
I’LL KILL ANYONE WHO LAYS A FINGER ON MY DAUGHTER.
Someone hurt my baby girl.
And I’ll tear down heaven and earth to find out who it was.
But I need someone to watch Ella while I’m on the warpath.
And the sexy social worker fits the bill nicely.

Mona thought she was knocking on my door for a simple welfare check.
But when she stepped inside, she stepped into my world.

And the rules are a lot different here.

Because I won’t be content just to watch her care for my daughter.
Not until I have a taste of her for myself.

She can try and resist me with every excuse in the book.
I’m too rough.
Too brutal.
Too close to the edge of the law.

She may be right.
But none of that’s going to stop me.

I’m coming for what’s mine.
And I won’t leave until I’ve had her mouth.
Claimed her body.
And put a baby in her belly.

HIS BABY'S KEEPER is a full-length, standalone, bad boy baby heist romance. Includes additional bonus content so you can keep on reading 'til you've had your fill of hot sex, thrilling action, and HEAs that will melt your heart!

If I could give it lower than 1 star, I would. Should have just dnfed it when I stopped for the night.
*sigh* You'd think I'd have learned after all these years. *shakes head*

I'd list and tell you all the things that were wrong and why the low rating but it'd be a easier to tell you what was right. Mostly cause the list is pretty much non-existent and I can't think of anything to add.

Now this is the blurb.

Now be honest, what picture does this paint in your head?

Cause all I saw was this big-ass biker dude, real rough and all alpha, out and about to protect his daughter and some woman he was gonna make his bitch. And a lot of sex.
But Jazz (Like the music) was, at least in my opinion, a total pussy cat.

I did. I did. I did see a pussy cat!

And this was probably the best part about him.
The entirety of this books, literally throws in your face how much Jazz loves his daughter Ella and it's sweet and I totally fell for it, till about the last 15-25% where the book just out right bursts into flames pretty much beyond recognition on it's way to hell.

And Mona.

I'm thoroughly ashamed we're even the same gender! She was so beyond tstl like man!
Just beyond my comprehension.

Man was just informed by firefighters that his kidnapped daughter's mangled toys were found next door in the sealed attic of the burning house and guess what she thinks is most important right now?

The man can't breathe and I think pretty much all of us can understand the state he was in and why he just had to get out but our h.
All our h could think about was that stick she peed on a couple hours ago and how he couldn't just go without knowing she was pregnant.

And all this. This was just the icing on the cake. What basically pushed me off the ledge. Not even the entire story but this! I just couldn't forgive or forget.

So honestly, put our H and h together and well, you know what? I think I'll just let Helen Mirren say it.

I don't ever like leaving a low review but the story line into how Jazz and Mona met is no where near believable and there are too many errors that should have been caught by the editor.

This really needs to be sent back through editing. I gave up at the beginning of chapter 13 when it says 'I gently pulled Ella off of me". I know it was supposed to say Mona but I just couldn't bring myself to read further.

It's also hard to follow because a social worker would never offer to babysit for a family they are investigating and a supervisor would never allow it. Between the editing errors and the unbelievable story line into how they met I just can't push through the remaining 90% of the book.

From the other reviews I've read I'm very disappointed. I thought I was purchasing a book that I would enjoy reading.

If this is sent back to editing and Mona's original employment is more believable I would reconsider reading it.

A very dark romance from Evelyn Glass that will keep you on the edge of your seat. She had me crying at certain points of this book but I am not gonna give any spoilers. Lets just say there were some heartbreaking and Heartwrenching moments throughout. But through it all was passion and love. I absolutley loved this story and the HEA was perfect!  I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
This was a pretty good and intense read from Aria Ford.  Isaac is a so for father in desperate need for a nanny and Kira answers that call.  These two have sparks flying as soon as they meet though its not the good kind. Hate quickly turns to love over their shared love for the little girl. Only reason this isn't a 5 star for me is because they both seem a little manic which detracted from the story for me.  Overall a good read. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

The story had guts but I wasn’t fulfilled

I had so many questions when the book was finished. I needed another epilogue to tie all the loose ends together, how did Ella do after therapy? The whole diner scene was crazy, there’s two badass MC guys and they couldn’t just rush skinny ass Ian (even with a gun) and Lucy is a nurse- if anyone was hurt she would’ve triaged but she’s over there making goo goo eyes at the hot guy Declan.. and old simpleton Addison, he’s really just standing by as his deranged brother terrorized everyone? Too many questions but overall good base for a story

This was an interesting romantic suspense story (not really a MC storyline), with Jazz and his daughter Ella caught up in a dangerous situation with a mentally unstable stalker. Mona is a social worker that during a home visit gets mixed up in this delusional man’s madness... as well as falling for Jazz.

It is an action packed mystery with lots of suspense and twists and turns, as well as a steamy romance fuelled by the adrenaline of the situation... and maybe love as well?!?

3.5 - 4 🌟

This was a good suspenseful story and the romantic beginning for Jazz and Mona. It was not however about a motorcycle club. Jazz was supposedly the President and went to meetings, that's it. He was not the strongest alpha but he was a wonderful father and turned out good for Mona. A deranged next door neighbor to Jazz, he had his sights set on his daughter. It had a HEA with families in tac. I guess the MC was good. They definitely were not 1% nor part of this book.

This not a typical MC story, it is rather a tense thriller with the MC peripheral to the story.

Jazz and Mona are wonderful characters who have a difficult journey to their HEA.

The tension mounts by the page as there are twists and turns, as unexpected as they are frightening, interspersed with steamy scenes.

I was so disappointed and I'm really glad I read this through my kindle unlimited. I don't like leave low reviews but there was nothing compelling about the characters or the plot. The MC hero was kind of a wash out and the heroine was only so so. The plot felt so disjointed without any real development. I wasn't invested at all.

Very disappointed in this book. Not good at all. Made the hero and his MC out to be idiots or useless. No excitement at all.

Thrilling read...

Wow this author writes such great heroes and heroines... Mona is a Social Worker who is asked to keep an eye on a young girl, Ella, whose father has had a few run-ins with the law..enter Jazz a typical alpha, possessive MC club member...

I loved the two main characters Mona is no pushover she is strong and smart and a perfect match for the rough tough biker.... I loved their interactions and the sexual tension between them..culminating in some very hot sex...the supporting secondary characters are also worth mentioning here..believable, interesting and all add humour and drama to the plot ....

I loved the premise of the story but did struggle a bit to understand why Jackson didn’t immediately ask Ella about the injury she received at the beginning ..she clearly could speak and I would have thought she would have been able to give some hint as to what had occurred..that being said this was just a niggle in an otherwise enjoyable read...

This is another great addition to this authors catalogue.... a perfect blend of, drama, suspense, humour and ultimately a great love story....I received a copy of this book from the author.
