This is the best issue so far. So many great lines from all the characters (especially Scanlan), and I love Vex's final words in this one. It makes me so very excited for Issue #5. Now to just wait one more month before reading the next one.

I think Scanlan (i think that's how u spell his name), reminds me a lot of Rocket from gardians of the galaxy except less violent, like he has others do all the dirty work and he just sits back and distracts people until they get killed, which is what i like about him.
The twins remind me of some characters too, but all i'm getting is like avatar the last airbender vibes or the dragon prince vibes. I dunno their banter is what's giving me those vibes and no hate, but i like it. I think i like the twins the most honestly.

I'm really enjoying getting to see Vox Machina interacting before they really knew each other, before they were at a level where they could take on basically anything. By the time I got to the end of the issue, I was swearing because I had reached the end! That's the downside to reading them as they come out instead of binge-reading them, I guess - you have to wait for the next issue!

I love the interactions between Vox Machina before they became a big thing and the story is amazing and I am just dying. I can't wait to see Trinket and I can't wait to read the next issue! When is it coming out? It's not soon enough!

I cannot wait for Trinket. Luckily the pacing of these comics are well planned and wonderfully drawn, so I'm still sucked in every time I read one even when there is no Trinket.

Getting them together

The origin story really shines a light on how they came to be, how each little group wasn't working out, but seeing kindred spirits mixed in with other groups. Good show, really.

The three pairs of adventurers battle the evil sorceress, and then separate - stupidly. Beautifully drawn and coloured, and a tale that really pulls you in. Poor Vex!
