Oh my goodness I couldn't even finish the first chapter! There are so many typos and grammatical errors, it was painful to read!! Instead of focusing on becoming a better version of themselves, they should focus on becoming a better writer!
I thought this book was OK. The information contained was interesting and quite helpful. My problem with the book was all of the spelling errors and grammar problems, along with words missing from sentences. It was hard to really absorb the information and focus on what I was reading because in almost every paragraph of the book there were many spelling errors, or grammar problems, or entire words missing from a sentence. I’m not sure who edited this book, but it wasn’t done very well, and should have been done better before the book was published. I would have given this book a five star rating had there not been those problems. I would recommend reading this book, as long as you can tolerate all of the spelling problems, grammar errors, and even words missing from sentences that you’ll find.
The author reviewed and analyzed human success/failure lessons in this book. It was easy to read for someone who does not speak English fluently.
Many typos appear in the book; I'm not sure how it passed the publisher's editing phase, but it's not up to standard.
The author covers relationships, stress management, self-improvement, self-esteem, goal setting, leadership, and the rest of them. Reading and paying attention to all these topics helped me catch their undiscovered side.
“Despite of what's been happening, and to those who has gone though the ordeal, it's better to just laugh while facing the troubles with a clear mind than anger with a clouded vision.”
“Run, jog, walk and do other things that your body was made for. Feel alive.”
“. People will appreciate your innovation more because it is uniquely yours and that no one else would have thought of what you were thinking. That will let people see how valuable an asset you are.”
“Nothing will work without passion. What wakes you up in the mornings? What keeps the flame burning? What is the one thing that you'll die if you don't do? Sometimes people with talent are overtaken by the people who want it more.”
“Growth is a process thus to grow in spirit is a day-to-day encounter. We win some, we lose some, but the important thing is that we learn, and from this knowledge, further spiritual growth is made possible.”
“A good way to have a manageable list is to have a daily and weekly set of goals. By doing this you will be always in the position of going towards you life plan goals. Everyday will give you the opportunity to fulfill a certain goal giving you the feeling of accomplishment.”
I’ve never DNF a book so fast. The entire first chapter is a love letter to an accused rapist and jokes about his sexual life as a “life lesson” to a small degree.
Please, do not waste your time. Simple, petty, embarrassing grammar mistakes. Most of the chapters in this book feel like re-written versions of others I have read.
Do you want to read every single self help book ever made? Read this book! I appreciate the fact that the author wanted to put as many helpful hints/skills to help someone thrive, however, it was so sloppy. The chapters would have no flow to them whatsoever. Typos galore. I think in theory this book could have been good, but it was such a slow burn and so disappointing.
