nope.
i can't stop laughing at how ridiculous this book is. yes, there were steamy scenes but a lot of times I just had this cringey-face on and at the same time half-laughing, half-crying at how unrealistic and porn scripted this book is. (don't ask me how I know. OKAY.) just sayin'. if you love smutty scenes and won't mind a book with pretty much non-existent plot and character development then this book is for you.

When a commercial tries to be a blockbuster
Here's the thing: if you want to write pure smut, write pure smut. I surely wouldn't judge you (can you tell by the title of the book I've chosen?) But don't insult me and try to frame it as some big ass love story based on emotions and feelings (aside from them all feeling horny), when you've spent the whole book writing how two 37-year old Marines lust after an 18-year old girl. They notice her curves, her scent, her pouts, the way she dresses and teases them, but nowhere in this book could you find ANYTHING about her personality. So how come those two schwanzes tried to convince her and the reader, that it was true love forever?
This was still excusable to some extent, but then the last to chapters happened. Suddenly, the glorious fuckfest that was this "lovestory" was interrupted by a kidnapping. Everything about its execution and following rescue was written by a 12 year old fanfic writer and you can't convince me otherwise.
And then of course the cherry on top: the kidnappers, who were in prison but escaped, did it by simply walking out of the prison. I REPEAT: INMATES WALKED OUT OF THE PRISON BECAUSE THE TECHNICIAN FORGOT TO CLOSE THE DOOR 😶 No, sorry, silly me! The guy walked out of the male prison because the technician forgot to close some magic door. Then said inmate crossed the street to the female prison (how convenient), opened the door there (again forgetful technician at play?) and freed his lovely missy. I mean, no wonder you see everywhere in the news that American penal system isn't working. Hire better technicians!

4 Smutastic Stars!

In May of 2017, i read a book by Jade West called Dirty Daddies. I absolutely loved the book and i fell in love with menages even more than i had before because it was that hot. So when i came across Madison Faye's Double Daddies, i was more than a little curious to see what she has to offer.
So here are my thoughts about this book.
- it was hot. There's no denying that point since it starts right from the beginning when it comes to the chemistry that exists between Wilder, Lincoln and Kenzie.
- It was captivating. No matter how many times i would scratch my head in confusion (which will be explained in a short bit), i couldn't stop reading.
- the characters were likeable. Even bratty Kenzie and dominating Lincoln and Wilder.
Here's where the hiccup happened and why it impacted my rating to the point it did:
Remember the book i mentioned at the beginning of my review? Dirty Daddies by Jade West? Well, Double Daddies was so very familiar to that story. More than once i wondered if i was rereading the same book. Yes there are many points that are different, but the similarities hit me pretty good. The similarities?
- Lincoln and Wilder are best friends - so are Jack and Michael.
- Kenzie is bratty and out of control, a girl of the system - so is Carrie, only Michael is her case worker.
- Kenzie is living with Wilder while Lincoln is visiting while he has his home built - Carrie was living with Jack while Michael came to live with them for a short bit.
- Wilder and Lincoln tried to fight their attraction for Kenzie until she was of legal age and her bratty ways pushed them both over the edge - the exact same thing happened between the trio of Jack, Michael and Carrie.
So while i may have enjoyed this story, i couldn't get over the many similarities that exists between these two books and authors. That doesn't mean that there's a case of plagarism (boy do i really hope there isn't), it just means that for me, reading this was just reading a book i had in the past and it greatly impacted my rating.
Will this be the end of my reading Madison Faye in the future? I doubt it because i'm really curious to know what else she has in store for her readers and Double Daddies just gave me a glimpse of how hot and naughty her stories can be.
Maybe it's my own interpretation of this book, or maybe color me jaded somewhere, but one thing is for sure, no matter how much i may have liked it, there are just some things i need to think about when i read a book and similarities is one of them.

Another great quickie from Madison Faye. These stories are perfect if you're looking for something quick and dirty that just gets right to the point. And who can resist 2 Daddies? Certainly not me! Lol.

Wow! That was something dirty! But more than that, it was a quick, fun, (and dare I say it?) guilty pleasure that I zoomed through with no apologies.When Kenzie is left in the custody of her not-quite-uncle by marriage, as well as his best friend, the sparks start to fly immediately. But in her quest to hide her attraction for these two men, Kenzie resorts to acting the role of a bratty child. This is something that Wilder and Lincoln can not accept and both feel that discipline is in order.As a child that had to raise herself, it was understandable that Kenzie sought a father figure (or two), and I think the author did a great job of weaving the daddy-dom aspect into Kenzie's desire for affection and love and trust. It was sexy and hot and well done if DD/lg kink is your thing!
I did find several conceptual problems with the story. Why is an eighteen year old being taken care of by Child Protective Services? Is a dad's girlfriend's estranged brother and his friend really appropriate guardians? I found that I had to suspend reality for a while in order to appreciate the story, but once I did, I was able to enjoy it for what it was. And it was something!
Madison Faye's writing style, the over the top insta-love, the insanely dominant men and the sex all remind me of Alexa Riley. It's the same type of down and dirty book. Totally enjoyable, and a new author for me to check out! In addition, the current version of this book ended at about 30% of the file. I was disappointed at first, until I realized that she included 3 other stories as well. Then, I was immensely pleased and off to read my second new book by this author!

Madison Faye has done it again. I loved Double Daddies so much I couldn’t put it down, it was dirty and I loved every second of it. It’s so dirty that Its definitely the kind of book that makes you praise the creators of every electronic device that you can read books on so no one knows what your reading ;) your own dirty little secret! I loved Wilder, Lincoln and Kenzie and I loved their story. While The daddy kink isn’t for me I didn’t feel like it was really thrown in your face and I was able to ignore it and focus on the MFM aspect of the book (which is definitely for me ;]) Another Hit Madison can’t wait to read more!

I think this one is my favorite! Wilder and Lincoln are two ex-marines that are now in charge of Kenzie a just turned 18-year old. Kenzie has a problem with authority so when she finally pushes Wilder and Lincoln too far things become extremely heated.
I loved this story. It was so freaking hot and steamy and the characters are out of this world. If you have never read any of Madison's books this is the one to start with!

Wilder and Lincoln are best friends who served together in the marines and started a billion dollar business together. Right now they are staying in Wilder's house while Lincoln's dream home is being built. Then Wilder is contacted by CPS. CPS wants Wilder to take care of Kenzie
Kenzie is one week away from turning 18 when her dad and his girlfriend get arrested while trying to rob a pharmacy.
The heat level of the three of them burns up the pages when finally the men take Kenzie over their
laps and into their beds.
I really enjoyed the story .

Book one, started out as way more believable than book two but it crashed and burned so freakin fast I actually backtracked a few pages to make sure I wasn’t losing it!
1. This will be a no holds barred review/rant so feel free to stop reading now.
2. I actually had to pause in writing this review and filter somethings out because it was an all out bash fest.
Here goes:
Kenzie kept thinking of HERSELF as having a tight little P and A$ - YUCK! Talk about internalized misogyny! Then I had to wonder how many times one should be allowed to refer to bodily fluids as sticky - because this happened WAY to often. Same things goes for talking about the guys sizes, I get it, they’re thick, we don’t need to be reminded every other sentence. And the Pre Drip must have been a condition because the amounts described are concerning.
I was OVER the book after the scene in the living room where the three of them actually come together. By this point Wilder and L (whose name I can’t even remember because he gets overshadowed!) seem to be more into traditional d/s than into daddy/daughter play. Needless to say the book just upset me after this point. The nail in the coffin came in the epilogue, if one asks for something the delivery of that thing isn’t a surprise! Ughh that scene just pissed me off!
One star - maybe because I didn’t put it down, maybe because the first 1/3 was somewhat enjoyable. I highly doubt I’ll ever read this author again and I am sorry for going all in on this review but just no! I can tolerate some pretty twisted and raunchy things (refer to my read list) but this writing style just didn’t add up well for me.

Kenzie is a smart mouth women who is quick attracted to Wilder and his best friend and neighbor Lincoln. Lincoln and Wilder are both attracted to Kenzie and try to fight it but she keeps breaking the rules and they can't take it anymore.
This was a quick, instant love story that has not real drama in it. Ms. Faye is one of my quick read fantasy authors I love to read.

This book was okay, but if you're looking for a storyline, I wouldn't recommend it. If you're looking for a quick smutty book, then I would. There was quite a bit of an age gap, but you couldn't really tell because the MMC's just make it seem like she was being a brat. I was not expecting her dad to kidnap her, though. However, the ending could have been done better, in my opinion. I will read the next book when I'm looking for a quick, smutty vibe book.

Cold-shower-worthy written porn. That is what this is. It was quite good, some scenes even made me blush up to the tips of my hair, but there are only so many times you can read "big" and "thick" before the eye-rolling goes up to disturbing levels.
