Este livro muito necessário e magistralmente preparado pelo Dr. Lisle (pesquisador PhD da Answers in Genesis) é resultado do seu estudo diligente e intensivo das obras de alguns dos maiores apologistas da nossa era moderna. Dr. Lisle usa de forma brilhante o que a maior parte das pessoas poderia considerar argumentação técnica (que só especialistas em lógica e filosofia poderiam usar) e ensina passo a passo como o cristão comum pode se tornar um debatedor magistral contra até o mais veemente cético ― não só preservando seu próprio fundamento, mas também deixando o oponente sem desculpas quanto à veracidade da Bíblia e da fé cristã.

36 books122 followersDr. Jason Lisle is an astrophysicist who formerly worked for the creationist organization Answers in Genesis as both a speaker and researcher, but is now Director of Research at the Institute for Creation Research.
Dr. Lisle is a creationist who has a PhD in Astrophysics, which he obtained through the University of Colorado in Boulder. His postgraduate research concentrated on solar dynamics, utilizing NASA's Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) to monitor the surface of the sun. His PhD dissertation "Probing the Dynamics of Solar Supergranulation and its Interaction with Magnetism." is available from the University of Colorado and he has also published numerous papers in scientific literature concerning convection cells in the sun.
Although some creationists claim, as in the film Expelled, that holding to creationist beliefs while pursing a degree at an accredited University will get you kicked out, Dr. Jason Lisle recieved his undergraduate degree from Ohio Wesleyan University summa cum laude with a double-major in physics and astronomy and a minor in mathematics. For his thesis and dissertation, (Master's and Ph.D accordingly,) though members of his Peer-Review Panel might have been aware of his young Earth beliefs - their evaluation of his work was based on his actual research and not his personal beliefs.

Pra não dizer que é um livro horrível e superficial, ele tem dois capítulos que valem a pena ser lidos, que são os dois capítulos sobre falácia lógica e ele vai tratar um pouco sobre lógica em si.
O resto do livro é tão desinteressante que sequer é possível prosseguir pelas próximas páginas. Com uma argumentação rasa, me parece que o texto foi escrito para crianças de 5 anos, e não para adultos querendo estudar mais sobre a criação.
Entrou para a lista dos poucos livros que eu sequer desejei chegar ao fim.
