This is literally a one-stop shop for all things vlogging, blogging, and social media related. This book walks you through the ins and outs of getting your own vlog started, including video platforms, equipment, the filming and content creating process, and even editing!
I don't make videos, but I could still follow along perfectly and understand the vlogger lingo! I am a blogger though, and I found the section on personal branding very informative and helpful! It's nice reading from someone with professional experience (she was actually on REAL TV!!) and who has made multiple vlogging channels and has incredible content herself.

Get this book.

I am not a vlogger, but I am a blogger. I wasn't sure this would be useful to me, as I wasn't planning on ever getting into vlogging. I already watch Andrea's vlogs and follow her on instagram, so I know what she is all about. But this book just gives away all the best tips for anyone wanting to get into the vlogging wold. And to be honest, there were even parts I found useful for my blog. I actually sent a copy to a friend who just started vlogging and gave my copy away to another friend who just started making videos for her Instagram/blog cause I believe it is a great resource for anyone looking to start vlogging, or who has been vlogging but needs a little help.

Easy read with some good info
I have been running a YouTube Channel for the past 1.5 years. And I decided to give this book a look. While not everything is new info to me there are several golden nuggets that can be taken away in almost every chapter.
On top of that it is a quick easy read and is a great idea for anyone who is just figuring out if this is what they want to do or not.

If you ever wanted to read a long form article about the advice on how to start your own vlog - this is the book for you. Don't get me wrong this might be what you need in order to get your vlog started between equipment and inspiration, etc. However, I do not know if this guidance goes beyond what I could find in articles on the Internet about how to get started. Go to Wikihow gents, this one ain't it.

Fantastic informational book! It is short and concise, but full of helpful info. I myself am not actually that interested in creating my own vlog (at least not yet ☺️), but some of the info is also just good general tips for any content creation (be it blogs, social media posts, or anything else). It also gave me a greater appreciation of the vlog creation process.

Andrea is a natural communicator, she's so honest and real and that reflects through her videos and this book is not an exception. There are some great introductory insights for new vloggers or those who are interested.

I pick up some information here and there . This is not one of the "all you need to get started " books , but it will point you in the right direction . If you are thinking about starting a vlog ,this book will explain what is involved in the process

She is a good writer and the book flows well. The editing was great. Good tips for beginners and those thinking about entering the world of vlogging.

This short book covers a lot of ground in an easy to read manner. The author has a natural way of writing. Because of its length I felt it was a bit shallow and given my age I felt that once again I had come very late to the party. Nevertheless it is a good intro to the subject from a seasoned practitioner and worth the few hours it took to read. I just wish it had some more depth and maybe some images to explain or give further understanding to what the author is detailing. A useful addition to my reference library and one that may have acted as a catalyst for me.
