Bellingwood Book 20 Vignettes

Rate this book
This book contains four very short (approximately 1500 words each) vignettes written from the perspective of characters in Bellingwood other than Polly Giller.

In the first vignette, Elva Johnson and her children have afternoon chores, but she has a couple of rebellious daughters. If they are just like their mother, they'll be a handful. Vignette #2 takes place at Sycamore House. Jeff Lyndsay is nervous about his mother's upcoming visit. Lydia reminds him that mothers really just want to spend time with their kids because they love them. In the third vignette, Rachel and Billy Endicott are celebrating their first wedding anniversary. Billy surprises Rachel with an incredible gift. In Vignette #4, the Merritt household is filled with Aaron and Lydia's children and grandchildren as they prepare for Christmas. The fun is only beginning.

The Bellingwood books are written from Polly's perspective and every once in a while it's fun to look at what's happening behind the scenes from the viewpoint of other characters.

These vignettes were originally published on the nammynools.com website and in the monthly email newsletter to Bellingwood readers.

I really enjoy reading these vignettes. They add an extra dimension to the characters I know and love in Bellingwood, flesh them out even more. If you subscribe to the author’s newsletter, then you already have access to these for free. But, if you’re like me, you enjoy reading her stories again and again.

I love Bellingwood as if people can't tell...LOL

I'm an only child and Bellingwood reminds me of friends who had a big familys and how much fun it was to go to my aunt and uncle's house for a holidays or school breaks.

Read and enjoy.

Bellingwood Vignettes

We can watch Polly as the primary character grow and develop, but the vignettes create more depth to the characters in the Bellingwood series books. I love Polly and her family and friends.

Good well crafted stories

I am on my third or fourth reading of the Bellingwood series. Each time I get wrapped up in the stories and the personalities displayed on the page. Excellent family stories.

Nothing but smiles!!

I can't help it when I read these. All I do is smile and laugh. The good nature between everyone and willingness to help is touching.

This is a good fill-in for some of the lesser characters in the Bellingwood series- but I miss the tales about Polly and her family.

Excellent

Bellingwood vignettes are short and sweet. Little glimpses into the lives of some of the other characters who reside there.
