When young mark starts a journey with his friends it's nothing normal. They embark on a journey which will change their lives.
This story is nice. But in the beginning we get a lot of confusion. About mark and his age and all.
This book belongs to the fantasy genre.
Good read.

When I picked up this book, I was really excited to get into this story because it seemed to have a lot of potential for adventure and intrigue among the characters. Even now, having read it, I still think that this novel has an amazing potential to be a wonderful bildungsroman since it chronicles the adventures of Mark and his friends on their travels. However, what leads to me giving this story a rather low rating is that I feel like there is some sort of oversight in the editing. I'm not sure if the author, Mr. Blagden, is perhaps not a native English speaker or is perhaps not just as comfortable with the English language, but the entire story is littered with mistakes in verb tenses, punctuation, and words that needed to be used. You can of course get the gist of what is being conveyed, but for me, it really prevented the usual immersive reading experience that I enjoy from novels because I would have to read the same lines several times just to make sense of it and kind of follow along. If these mistakes could be fixed and essentially the story could just be edited to correct that, this would be such a wonderful and fun story to read!

This is an adventurous story of a boy named Mark and his friends.
I love the story. It's quite simple and slowly grows to its objectives. The introductions of the characters are also impressive otherwise sometimes I just can't understand why this character is here and what's his deal? But thankfully not in this case.

I love adventurous stories so much that I can forget about any other mistakes. This story got some magic. It just opens one's brain and makes it start imagining.

One thing which I can suggest is that a bit more twists and turns can make it more interesting. I don't know, just pressurize the character more. It's not like the story is bad but more spice in the food will make it tastier.

The last thing which I realized in my reading experience is weird. I don't know why maybe I got a villain vide, I know Mark is a simple guy and he is the protagonist of this story but I hate him lol.

When I started reading this, I got the impression that the protagonist, Mark, was someone wise beyond his years. I felt that maybe he was an ordinary boy who had had something extraordinary happen to him, and that was something that I initially liked, and found intriguing.

I would say the story itself was a nice story. Quite an adventurous story, with a lot going on. However, I did feel that there were editing issues, and at times, I did find it hard to keep up with what was going on, which was a shame.

Having said that, this story did have the sense of magic that I would hope for, when reading something in the fantasy genre. One of the most pleasant things about it was it reminded me of the type of stories I read as a child or teen, and the kind of book I might still read as an adult, if I want to escape for a while.

We read in the foreword of this book : "The Adventures of the Young Time Travellers and the Time Stone» by GE Blagden "I will try to give you pictures in your heads from my time adventures. But still, feel a little worried in my heart about you, could be thinking with what has amazed me!”
I really have mixed feelings about this book of fantasy and adventure;
and i honestly think reading it would be such a nice experience for teenagers.
The writing is actually simple and beautiful. We learn from every book a moral story, and in my opinion this adventure teaches us how to use our mind (how to have a critical mind) and think about everything around us.
We must not take things for granted.....

This is a good read. I think that I would say it has great prospects for the young people who want to read a novel filled with stories of adventures. The story is about a young man named Mark and his friends who travel through time in order to save Earth. They in a war against the Dark Mistress must join forces with the world of vampires. The story jumps to different times and is often filled with battles. Above all there is a love story, that adds a bit of romance. The development is nice but will only get better. So I do recommend this book to others, especially those who are young and adventurous.

The book tells the story of Mark and his friends who embark on an adventure after meeting a strange man on the edge of their town. Okay , so the story is quite good and the characters are well developed and quite interesting. The story will have you hooked from the start.

However, this book needs major editing. The sentences are not coherent, there are several grammatical errors as well. I had to go back and forth several times just to understand what was happening.

If you happen to get a well edited version of this book, give this a chance.

The story is wonderful - a young boy and his school friends embarking on a life-changing journey.

Time travel, lots of adventures, fantasy, sci-fi, even paranormal elements.

After all, a batte between good and evil.

I get the impression the book is written by a young author for young adult audiences.

In fact, I wish I could read more about the author bio.

Otherwise, the narrative is immersive, ambitious and promising, encouraging, even inspiring for the specified readers.

Good luck and enjoy the journey!

First I would like to thank Booktasters and the author for lending me a copy to read in exchange for an honest review.

Had a hard time reading this book due to the mistakes of grammar. It wasn't coherent most of the time. Got the gist of what the author was writing but due to the mistakes, it was very difficult to read. The author should correct the book before releasing it again to the public. The story has potential to become a good book for the teens but in this state, I do not think many would like it.

I appreciate the story of Mark and his friends and the adventures they got up to. But i believe I received an unedited copy of the book. I couldn't understand what other sentences meant and how they connected. There is not much I can say, except that Mark and his friends' lives were never the same after meeting a strange old, dirty traveller while camping on the outskirts of town. He gave them something that would change their lives, forever

The thing about this book is that while it has a coherent plot, it needs a lot of editing. I liked its premise but it's hard to read. The protagonist, Mark, is silly and there are a lot going on in this book. Looking past the grammar errors, this book has its moments. It's filled with adventures here and there. Sometimes the sentences aren't coherent but this book has a lot of potential if given proper editing. So for now, 3.5 stars.

This isn't your typical YA novel. The book shows the story of Mark Greenwood, a teenager who is thrust into time travel missions with his friends. I loved how the author balances action sequences with actual emotional depth; I felt that Mark's struggles with identity and belonging felt raw and real. If you're looking for a mix of time travel, personal discovery, and battles that doesn't follow the usual YA storyline, this book is definitely worth your time.

The book tells us the adventures of Mark and his 3 friends Fred, James and John. Traveling through a time portal and appearing on places they could never imagine to be. Meeting the old man who gave them a stone that changed their lives forever.
Absolutely an interesting story line, relatable characters. Just had problems with grammar and punctuations. But nevertheless, was a good read.

This book was very difficult to read and appreciate.

The main issue for me was the grammar and the sentence construction. I don't know whether this was deliberate since it flows through the book and that there is a purpose for it being written that way.
Extremely puzzling. I should add that I read a pdf copy and perchance the final book is different.

It was a good read. The story is a bit too familiar: friends going on an adventure because they met someone and that changed their lives in a major way. I thoroughly enjoyed it since the story is easy to understand and visualize.

I highly recommend this to people who enjoy adventure-fantasy genres, and people who want to take a break from exploring different genres.

I don't have much to say, but I think this would be the kind of book that my younger self will read, and I am really happy to have come across this one. It is only less than 300 pages, but the plot is good. Very interesting yet simple. If you want a light read, I will recommend this book.

I enjoyed quite a lot!!! I was a bit confused on whether it was Ya and middle grade, but it was a fun read regardless and did a great job in making me feel concerned for the characters.
